I also help folks create their own original fursonas!

WIPs all day erry day
Posted 10 years agoDoing a lot of art, just not much completed work currently. Lots of community work and fought off a migraine this weekend. Not the way I wanted to spend my rest day!
Lesson Learned!
Posted 10 years agoFurther Confusion should not be attempted in only a day. Just sayin.
Myself and my partner had a wonderful time and I loved getting to see some old faces after being away for almost five years. But yeah, only one day was DEF not enough time. <3

Rest in Peace, David Bowie
Posted 10 years agoIs it strange that I find immense satisfaction that this man also held on long enough to get to age 69?
Drop farewell album.
Blow out 69 candles.
Turn back to stardust.
I actually struggled trying to find the words to tell my partner that David Bowie died.
For many of you who don't know, He played Bowie's song "Changes" when he bound his chest for the first time. When took his first HRT shot, Bowie played in the background. He lived so much by his music, and was helped so much by his resistance to the world of normal. Didn't hurt he was an amazing musician to boot.
We have no words. Only music.

IM BACK
Posted 10 years agoAND I HAVE NEW THINGS.
I have Prismacolor markers! I have Prismacolor pencils! I have charcoal! AND I HAVE A BRAND DAMN NEW SCANNER.
How was YOUR Yule/Christmas?
With 2016 looming large, I am also starting to launch a bold new chapter in my life: I am gonna be doing the arts ALL THE TIME.
I may also be looking to start a new FA account, but I am still debating on that.

Transgender Day of Rememberance: Art Call
Posted 10 years agoCALLING ALL CREATIVE PEEPS
As some of you may know, I have volunteered as tribute for Trans-E-Motion’s Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) Art Committee. Part of that involves finding pieces of art to showcase for the gallery on November 14th.
Every year Trans-E-Motion puts together an art showcase representing Trans artists and allies. While there is no theme, but Self-exploration or recognition is encouraged! Trans artists and those with trans related art are strongly encouraged to participate!
We are looking for folks working with all kinds of mediums: through charcoal, paint, watercolors and pens, to clay creations, to wordsmiths. If you want to showcase your art, by golly, we want to help you do it!
We are also looking for anyone who would be willing to let us borrow easels and tables for the events so we can display the art. If anyone wants to donate THOSE, we would love you forever and ever.
There are currently three ways of contributing art: Donation, Display, and Selling. There is NO FEE involved at all: this is a memorial, not a fundraiser.
Anyone interested? Comment below, private message me, or email me at j.b.fitzpatrick11[at]gmail.com
So I can send you the Art Submission form. We are asking everyone who wishes to participate to fill out and return these forms by NOVEMBER 1ST!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Weekend from hell
Posted 10 years agoMy friend's husband died in a motorcycle accident. I have spent the last three days crying and hugging and cleaning and trying not to eat all of the fucking things. I am exhausted beyond all reason.
Needless to say, I haven't been able to work on too much art.

Good Job, Sport!
Posted 10 years agoSo you know, I have been out of the furry loop for quite some time, and the video game world for even longer. So when I started seeing 5 nights at Freddie's artwork explode all over the Furaffinity, I was perplexed to say the least. So I looked it up on youtube. Found the series of Markiplier going through the game. Night. By. Night.

I have never realized how hard it is not to scream like a little bitch when your partner is trying to sleep. JESUS FUCKIN CHRIST that is the scariest shit I have seen in a long time, and it isnt even GORY.
*Gets some more popcorn to watch the 6th night*

Where did I go? DON'T I LOVE YOU ANYMORE?
Posted 10 years agoHey Furry Fans! Been off the radar for bit. Let me tell you why!
First of all, my main computer died! All my scans and scaning equipment was linked up to that computer! YAAAAAAY Wait no. That's bad.
Then my partner had to go through about 3 surgeries since the beginning of the year: one for reconstructive surgery on his chest, two others for his eye. He's been diagnosed with a disease called Keratoconus, which is leaving him with blurring vision, and the docs have been trying to help, with no success. I can rant and rave about how his father should have been taking him to a doctor for this ten years ago, but that's not very helpful.
So I have been at home more, doing more driving and taking care of appointments and cleaning and becoming an actual manifestation of a Care Bear. I don't have much time for drawing unfortunately, but I have starting going back to the gym and hey, that's gotten me off my anxiety meds!
Anywho. I am hoping to get a computer expert over here some time this week to look at my computer and see how bad off it is. Then I am going to look into doing commissions for donation to his fundraiser. More on that when I figure out what the hell I am doing. If you would like to help out, here is his fundraiser page. He is hoping to get to Ireland before his vision is completely kaput. : http://www.youcaring.com/other/help...../update/314732
Until then furries, stay weird. <3

EH? WHAT WAS THAT?
Posted 10 years agoFinally over the majority of that faux flu! The only problem is that my ear infections linger, making me a bit hard of hearing and feeling EVEN OLDER. OH GOODIES.
Luckily I scanned a bunch of stuff I have been working on the past couple of weeks, and I will be uploading something every day for a little while! =)

Battling Fatigue
Posted 10 years agoAfter being diagnosed with an ear, bronchial, and eye infection, I was able to get a boat load of drugs and I have started to feel alot better. I have a lot of great arting ideas that I keep writing down in my sketch book.
Unfortunately, I am finding that I can only draw for 10 or 15 minutes at a time before becoming overwhelmed with exhaustion. It is incredibly frustrating.

HACK WINCE WHIMPER
Posted 10 years agoBeen dealing with a sore throat for a couple of days now. Luckily, it is JUST the thing to get me to art! =P
Not taking a break!
Posted 10 years agoI have been working super hard on ONE character for a friend of mine. I did an inital sketch, showed her what I had and well.. apparently I had it all wrong. So not only did I have to scrap the original, but I also had to do ALOT of research because it is a more than a bit of stretch out of my comfort zone! =)
So yeah, not being lazy, I swear!

Until then, have some arts!
