How Do I Feel?
Posted 16 years agoLovely and strange... disconnected and rearranged.
Like a good friend said recently: "It's always a goddamn boy." That in itself is weird for me to write. I'm still not really sure of them either.
Im not sure what all this means. I only know that it's nice, having someone wanting me to call them and being happy to listen and make plans. Thinking about holding hands and playing rough and talking big ideas in the grass, under a tree, where you can't hear the sirens or screams or terrifying pops at night. Being in a state of mind so far away from all of that and getting to live my dreams...?
Well, it may be a bit too early to say. Theres still a ton of red tape and campaigning and sorting out to do. Our Trust Blinders have been on for so long I wonder if we can realistically say we can take them off completly and say "yeah, you aren't like that. You won't hurt me like that, like all the others. I can trust you in ways I thought I would never trust another person like that again."
But my romantic, foolish, black and blue heart HOPES. And that is fuckin saying something.
In other news, drawing up a storm. Plan to do some scanning tomorrow or Saturday!

Posted 16 years agoI have alot of different sketch ideas that I wanted to try, and I have more than a few promises to keep, like JessBear and Talutie's "Ken and Barbie", Sissa Bear and Sissa Fox, and a whole SLEW of others...
But one in particular has been rolling in my head, and I am not sure excatly how to execute it.
You see, I kinda have this... thing... for women that are uh... doing housechores. One of the most UNSEXY things in the world I know but... comeon, who doesnt want to come home and see their little lady cooking for them, or cleaning for them... in nothing but pearls and apron? HUNPH
God strike me down if I am probably the worst case of sexism against my own sex...
Anyway, once I get a few of these other idea out of the way, I may start playing around with that idea, see what I can come up with. I may start asking more commissions of that nature too.
SIGH. I am so friggin hopeless.

Hope ya'll are enjoying the new pictures: I finally have a scanner that my dragon buddy loaned to me and now I am scanning like a fiend and uploading at work! *chuckles* How's THAT for dedication?
It's no secret by looking at these pictures that i have been improving alot since the last time I did a scan job. And every year it seems I get just a little bit better. It really makes me look ever more forward to FC, and to share this gift with other like minded artists and fans of the art subject!
Not to mention, of course, all you awesome folks here at Fur Affinity! Can't wait to start meeting some of you!
