Update October 2025 - HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

It's already near the end of October, the greatest month of the year! Your girl Fright has been pretty productive this month, clearing out the reminder of their backed-up commission queue, drawing lots of porn and getting back in shape. I don't have a bunch of animation updates RN (more on that in a sec) but here are some basic life updates.
FIRSTLY - I'm still in the early stages of getting some proper gender-affirming care. I won't bore you with the deets, but I'm making some progress and I'm trying to be optimistic. It's been almost a year since I came out as trans (transfem non-binary, if you wanna get all technical on me) & I'm still having a hard time with socially transitioning. I've been working like crazy to build a body that matches my real self, but it's been really tough and stressful. ATM my main goal is to one day look in the mirror and like what I see for once. That'll be nice :3
SECONDLY - I'm putting a bunch of personal projects (including the Viktor short) on the back-burner for now. There's nothing wrong; quite the opposite, in fact! I'm not gonna reveal it RN but I'm gearing up for something pretty major regarding what 'll be doing in 2026. I'll make an official announcement in December, just know that there are some wheels in motion and I can't WAIT to share it with you! :D
ANYWAYS, that's me for today. I'll be back soon with another update, probably the BIG one regarding the BIG project that I have BIG hopes for!

Monthly update August 2025 - The fog is lifting...

Your girl Fright has some good news for y'all - I'm finally starting to feel better!
LOL it's been a long 8-9 months, that's for sure. Depression, family loss, bad medical news and the constant bombardment of shit from the pathetic, demented fascist lowlifes who run my country have left me a state where I felt like I was drowning. Thankfully, I've finally begun to get my head above the surface of the water. I've been much more productive lately and I'm currently working hard on getting back into a healthy place with my work and life in general.
This September I'll be focusing on clearing out my commission queue, then spending the rest of my time preparing for October, my very VERY favorite time of the year! That's right, SPOOKY MONTH, baby! That magical time when the macabre and FRIGHT-ening (tee-hee) are celebrated! I've got some amazingly cool stuff planned for this glorious month and I can't wait to share it with you!
ALSO I've been super encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive reception my recent >>JAX CARTOON<< has received recently. As I mentioned on >>MY BLUESKY<<, I'm kinda blown away by both the amount of love it's been getting & by folks so excited to see traditional animation. It only confirms what I've said for years, that people are inherently drawn to that kind of hand-made craft. Well, let's just say from now on you'll be seeing much more of that stuff from me. I think this cartoon jester has found her niche 🤡
ALSO my next big project once my commission queue is clear is getting Viktor's Pumpkin Spook FINALLY done! I can't wait to see what you guys think of it, I think it's gonna be pretty great!
