got the ticket paid and also got the tag and insurance updated. the rest will be handled by my parents.
but honestly god this whole damn thing shouldn't have even happened. i haven't been this mentally exhausted in a long time and i really want a break. but i can't. at least not right now. but in the meantime i opened up a good chunk of drive space so now i can work on blender properly again for now. so im going to get coms done and just chill.

why is it that every other update with windows. it'll break blander and it'll start leaking memory? im still on windows 10 at the moment and i don't know if it's a thing on win11 and never will know lol. but yeah it's just hella annoying cuz it forces me to update blender to fix the problem that shouldn't be in the first place.

If you're wondering what the memory leak symptoms are so you can catch it. It's either A: blender won't be able to load objects in rendered mode and will say that its out of gpu and host memory. or B: it'll start creating loads of temp files and eat up your drive space super fast until you exit blender. or C: sometimes it's both at the same time.

it's just hella annoying when something that's been working fine for months on end eventually gets broken thanks to microsoft's continual incompetency

after talking with a couple friends and a few others about it. i'll leave it up.
was just in a real rough spot and couldn't really afford to have something like that not work when it was needed to. so that's why i was wanting to take it down. it's like being stranded in the middle of nowhere and all you have is a car that's perfectly fine but it doesn't have any gas. so it just frustrates you further y'know?

can't open coms as slots are still full at the moment. the frequent power outages the past weeks have really slowed me down there

base price for coms will now be $60! the rest will stay the same. but yeah next time i open up i'll update the price sheet. but the increase has been decided due to com requests getting more complex as time goes. so in turn that ends up with me having to spend more time on them as well

im curious. what are your thoughts on the kabalmystic models nowadays? back then people hated them but now i'm seeing them pretty much almost everywhere. so how do y'all feel about em now?

honestly i still don't like them but im not going to hate on them lol. anyways just something that i've been wanting to ask for a while now

pleeeeaaasssseee for the love of god stop releasing models that are already IN A POSE! just leave them in the default T or A pose please! it's a lot harder to work with a model that comes in a pose that you can't fucking reset to the default!

Sorry I've been slow lately. Have been dealing with a lot power outages the past few weeks. It's getting incredibly infuriating at this point.

so i was already going to switch to linux after windows 10 stopped getting supported. but after seeing my friend struggle with win11 for the past week or so. yeah it solidified my decision.

what happened with my friend is that they were using win11 fine for a while until a recent update caused their pc to constantly either hard crash or blue screen. we've tried so much to fix it. deleting updates. rolling back updates. updating drivers. etc. some things worked for a short while but the crashes just came right back. they even tried doing a fresh clean install of win11 and it hard crashed yet again.

so yeah i'm not touching win11 ever after seeing all that happen over a fucking update. so i'm probably going to go with bazzite linux when the time comes. saw that blender runs faster in linux compared to windows so that's a huge bonus! currently seeing what programs i got installed currently that work in linux. which isn't much since it's just art related stuff and mod managers lol

now on the update on com prices. im thinking on raising the price of commissions after this month after doing a lot of thinking on it. people are asking for coms that are getting more and more complex and that adds a lot more time on me making them. so im still figuring out the price i want to go for here. also thinking on finally going for oc coms where i will SCULPT the oc model for the pic. it won't be a full on model. just a SCULPT for the pic. i can't do rigging and all that stuff yet. but the price for those will be different from a com with an already provided model.
so if you want a com at $50 this month will be your last chance!

wanted to say a quick thanks to those of yall that really do like my cars stuff. really means a lot! it's something i really do enjoy making and knowing that a good handful of you support it makes it worthwhile! honestly surprised how many people like this stuff XP

also yes i know it's not everyone's cup of tea. i do label this stuff properly so if you don't want to see it then just add "cars" to your keyword block list. no harm no foul!

so im trying to make steps towards stylizing my work a lot more now and so far it's starting with using the outlines and a new shader setup. i want my work to stand out more among other 3d art stuff. like i know my stuff is "unique" but i want it to be more so it's own thing if that makes sense. like i guess im just growing a little tired of going for the "realistic" look when that's what everyone else is doing too. i've always wanted a more hybrid style of style mixed with some realism. not just one or the other. the last pic really feels like a good step towards what im aiming for.
what are your thoughts on it?

was thinking of making a new one but want to poke around and see if there would be any interest first

while im still working on stuff my brain is just in a constant state of flux. where im just stuck asking myself: "what am i getting out of this? is this worth it?" like i just can't shake this constant feeling that my work is just not good enough anymore. guess right now im just trying to find an answer to all of this so that i can finally feel that all my efforts is or has been worthwhile.

so sorry if i seem distant or quiet. but that's just because i really am trying to keep my distance so that i don't hurt myself overthinking this stuff or end up saying something stupid or regretful y'know?

yeah gotta get the new sonic game cuz best gal is in! but... buuuuuutt! can i play it WITHOUT the guest characters? >~>
like i want it to be JUST the sonic cast. the only sonic racing game like that is tsr and that game isn't bad but just not quite good enough!

hell whenever i replay the riders games i don't do the missions cuz they just unlock the guest characters.

gotta love that there's people that just refuse to properly tag their stuff that's just in the very deep end of "please i don't need to fucking see that" territory.

i wish there was a way to just filter that stuff out but the tag system alone isn't enough. im grateful for what we got. but god damn i just threw up in my mouth and i don't need that happening again...
