now on the update on com prices. im thinking on raising the price of commissions after this month after doing a lot of thinking on it. people are asking for coms that are getting more and more complex and that adds a lot more time on me making them. so im still figuring out the price i want to go for here. also thinking on finally going for oc coms where i will SCULPT the oc model for the pic. it won't be a full on model. just a SCULPT for the pic. i can't do rigging and all that stuff yet. but the price for those will be different from a com with an already provided model.
so if you want a com at $50 this month will be your last chance!

so im trying to make steps towards stylizing my work a lot more now and so far it's starting with using the outlines and a new shader setup. i want my work to stand out more among other 3d art stuff. like i know my stuff is "unique" but i want it to be more so it's own thing if that makes sense. like i guess im just growing a little tired of going for the "realistic" look when that's what everyone else is doing too. i've always wanted a more hybrid style of style mixed with some realism. not just one or the other. the last pic really feels like a good step towards what im aiming for.
what are your thoughts on it?

while im still working on stuff my brain is just in a constant state of flux. where im just stuck asking myself: "what am i getting out of this? is this worth it?" like i just can't shake this constant feeling that my work is just not good enough anymore. guess right now im just trying to find an answer to all of this so that i can finally feel that all my efforts is or has been worthwhile.

so sorry if i seem distant or quiet. but that's just because i really am trying to keep my distance so that i don't hurt myself overthinking this stuff or end up saying something stupid or regretful y'know?

like i want it to be JUST the sonic cast. the only sonic racing game like that is tsr and that game isn't bad but just not quite good enough!

hell whenever i replay the riders games i don't do the missions cuz they just unlock the guest characters.

gotta love that there's people that just refuse to properly tag their stuff that's just in the very deep end of "please i don't need to fucking see that" territory.

i wish there was a way to just filter that stuff out but the tag system alone isn't enough. im grateful for what we got. but god damn i just threw up in my mouth and i don't need that happening again...

yo! wanted to apologize for being quiet for a while there. im back to focusing on coms again. just finally feel like i can really sit down and work on stuff so now im back and am gonna knock a bunch of them out!

welp. im finally back home and it's bill time yet again and i don't have any cash. hell my bank account is in the negative right now thanks to really bad timing. i was going to make a new ych but in my current state i just can't come up with anything good in such a short amount of time. it also doesn't help that i ended up getting sick while out of town... hell the last ych didn't even meet the goal i had set for it...

About art stuff. I'm basically starting to feel like I'm just wasting time with it all now and I should just get another job. Just quietly leave it all. The decline in everything is just been slowly killing my drive to really keep trying. To keep putting so much time into something if I'm just going to be met with diminishing returns.

Just got news that my grandmother, Mama T. has passed away this morning. Gonna miss her dearly. She was the soul of the family and... I'm still trying to process my emotions right now. So I'm going to be a bit distant for a while. I'm going to keep working on stuff.

the past few days i've been having trouble with blender. there was a problem where it kept freezing every few minutes and then it would eventually either slow down windows or just crash. a couple times it crashed the whole system and it was really frustrating to deal with. i had tried several ways to fix it but none of them worked. but my friend shown me that there was a an update and it fixed whatever issue that was going on. i was on blender 4.3.0 and now im using 4.3.2 so if you're on 4.3.0 then go ahead and update it. honestly now that i think about it. it sounds like there was a memory leak or something similar going on.

oh also from here on out when i upload a pic to those that commissioned me or got a ych. i am going to give you a dropbox link since i used to use discord for it all but it's just not working that way anymore. so from here on out im just going to use dropbox for this stuff. also SAVE YOUR PIC! cuz im not going to leave the files on my dropbox forever. i am going to remove them after a few days of uploading it. im running out of hard drive space and dropbox only lets you have so much before you have to pay for more

after a lot of thinking and self reflection. changing my mind about things. coming to conclusions and all that. i finally feel better. my head is clear. feel like i can talk again.
im making some much needed changes from here on out. like im tightening up my bubble. the people i really talk to. the people that support me. people i can actually call my friends.

but!

from here on out im going to take a different approach with everything that surrounds all of this stuff. like im going to just not care as much about things anymore. not in that kind of way but as in a way to where i can stay in a good headspace. like im no longer going to deal with people that try to be "friends" with me when all they want is just stuff from me. if someone tells me they're "going to do x thing for me." i'm not going to believe them. since i've been told that way too many times and nearly every single time nothing happens at all. get my hopes up for no reason just to get hurt in the end. hence why i say don't give me words. just show me. im not going to interact with bigger artists unless i get some equal treatment. if not then im not going to bother. no more one and done's. and a lot of other reasons that i just don't feel like listing off

like im just done with a lot of the stuff that's gone on and on and on for way too long. and now i'm constantly telling myself that none of this matters. just do what i want. it helps me out way more than you think. also i feel like im done trying to talk about my problems with things. like i'd rather just express them through my work cuz at least that way it feels more impactful. i don't know. we'll see with that. but when i do talk about my problems. it will be with the right people. those that understand me and get where im coming from with things yknow
