Just as a heads-up. I'm pretty much just staying on it to keep in touch with people or browse peoples' art every once in a while and junk. It's nothing against FA, just leaving a heads-up in case people pop up thinking I'm still around. Not really! When I figure things out, maybe. But for now (and for the past while) my music's been up on tumblr and not here. So yeah, there's the heads-up.

Cause reasons. Like being able to make folders. And favorite journals. I think those were things people have said should be added for ages? Besides that, a 15 MB limit for music uploads (or being able to link other sites like bandcamp/soundcloud/youtube, holy goodness). And posting stream announcements outside of journals and art, and the lack of a minute wait between uploads. And being able to upload an avatar and crop from it instead of making it 100x100 to begin with. And having different staff. And because having a presence on more than one site isn't a bad thing. Not like I can't upload something in more than one place. Unless it's more than 10 megabytes (about 4:21 for a 320kbps mp3).

So yeah. Made an account. Gonna be uploading stuff there soon enough. Cause for an account that uploads music, the two points against Weasyl being the superior site (1, people are on FA, 2, you can't browse by fetish) don't really apply, so why not, I'll stick stuff on there too if I get around to it.

It also lets me pretend I can have a public furry face on a site that isn't FA and therefore without as bad of the stigma of perversion that furries have. Pretend, mind. I'm sure people will go all over the adult stuff in the same way but who knows.

Oh man it was such a blast. I have like a million things to say but I know I can't remember them all and I'm just not going to try. Just going to say a few things.

The Homestuck panel! That was......a thing! Truthfully I hadn't really thought about the fact that I'd probably have to help run it, and I feel like I majorly dropped the ball on actually making it fun and or interesting. So that sucks. :/

Meeting people was cool though! And I got to see Kfox and get a really special gift from them that I'm still loving on. Eheheheh.

Besides that, uh, what else. Foxy Amoore's concert was pretty cool. I hung out a lot with a bunch of people with Specific Interest, and got drunk for the first few times of my life. Which was also fun. Yeah.

I know there's like nothing to note in here, but basically AC has made me pretty super-happy and I wish it could just happen again already. Also I'd love a million dollars too.

I dunno, but definitely not updating FA!

Yeeeeeeah, uh. So it's been a while since I've put anything up here, let alone a journal. I dunno, I'm not one of those that actually uses this site as a journal or spreads around a lot of news about stuff. I don't really feel like just posting videos I find hilarious or complaining about issues or discussing fetishes or anything like that, and besides, I've got a tumblr account for all the random posting I could do.

Plus there's not really a whole lot to even talk about on here. Post about new MSPA albums? That's kind of useless to do considering that I'm sure most who would want to hear about it, hear about it when it happens. Me posting again about it is kind of....not necessary.

Since I'm uploading some music tonight, though, just for the sake of uploading music, I guess I'll just go through some stuff quick in a big list, some of which is pretty old news but why not mention it:
--Four more Homestuck albums, two of which are the two fan albums. Off of those, the only actual volume is Volume 9, which I've had two track on. Also played some piano on that Midnight Crew cover.
--A pretty flipping old track of mine got used in the comic a bit ago.
--Been working with a bunch of great artists to start getting art for SOMETHING. Oh wait I said it a while back on tumblr, yeah I've got a solo album that's been worked on on-and-off for literally about 2 years at this point. So I've been contacting and talking with a bunch of people to do stuff for THAT.
--I stream every so often but I really never remember to post about it on here. Uuuuh. Maybe I'll try to do that sometime.
--The Tumblr social brigade can be way scarier than furries. Oh wait I was trying not to put really old news on here.

I was meaning to make something like this when New Year's actually happened, but then travel and stuff happened. Plus, I'm lazy. My mind's starting to shut down for the night, though, so I'm going to try and get this out there while I still have the inkling to.

Okay, so, 2011! Lots of stuff happened! I can't remember every specific detail, of course, there were a lot of albums over with MSPA, some music on here, lots of hanging out with friends, yeah. I know for sure that I've been making friends over the past year, and I'm definitely thankful for every one, even if there are some people I know that I haven't talked to in quite some time.

Bluh, I'm trying not to get all heavily sentimental and stuff. I'm just glad to have people to talk to and interact online with, even if my ability to initiate conversation is just a tiny drop in comparison with the bucket of nervousness that constitutes my personality. However you say that. Even then, still a long way to go, but at least getting out into the fandom and getting to meet various people is better than nothing.

Besides that stuff, lesse. I've done a small dabbling into art, have been contemplating trying out writing for a while, though neither of these are things I'd share on this account, just because for one, I sorta just want to keep this for sharing music, not going right into naughty things that people might not be watching me for, secondly because I wouldn't want some random asshole from /co/ discovering this and spreading any embarrassing writing all around the 'net. I can imagine it happening. It could be a thing. Heck, even faving art is a bad enough thing.

Anyway if that ever happens, I'll probably just make a separate account for that and that'll be that.

Future plans, okay. I've been working on a solo album for MSPA for some time now, and that got finished....sometime in the past two weeks? I'm going to re-remind Hussie to check it out, cause I sent it to him last week and he said "if I don't get to it soon after getting back from travel, feel free to remind me", so I'm gonna do that tomorrow. This doesn't mean there's going to be a guaranteed release, mind, I'm just submitting it for approval or criticism or possible release or what-have-you. Besides that, not much on the MSPA end besides various albums that come out and all, but I don't feel a big need to go on about them because you probably already know about them if you want to know about them!

Besides that, I'm going to be flying out to Austin to meet with Bowman from the music team, in February and March. Why? Cause he got invited to play at SXSW, a large music festival down there, and he's getting together a group from various people, including me, to play with him as a band. It might turn into a full-on band thing, I'm not sure of the specifics at this point. Uuuh but yeah, we'll be playing stuff from his solo record Ithaca, and MSPA-released songs from Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido. It's definitely exciting stuff. Also, I should probably plug the Kickstarter that's been put together for it, even though we're rather close to the mark already.

Hmmm what else. Man, I don't even know. I've got school to do and sleep to have, so I'm gonna head off for the night. Happy New Year's, 15 days late.

I'm really not sure what to make of this. On the one hand, I'm thinking "how the hell is there any standard for literacy when there's only 140 characters, minus whoever you send a message to" (hint, there isn't), and on the other hand, I'm thinking "WHAT THE FUCK, FURRIES".

Yeah I'm still not sure what to think. Otherkin are one thing, they're just kinda strange, it's like a religion, almost. That, you can ignore. But when I go finding these accounts, and seeing who else is watching them (not going to name names here or anything), it just feels like a really bad low. I mean, I know furry porn is good and hot and all, could even be more appealing than humans, but do you really have to let it take over every bit of your online life like that?
