Scammer impersonating artists on Discord
Posted 3 months agoThere's a scammer masquerading as different artists on discord. They were initially imitating lesspie but after they were called out and the artist made a journal about it they switched to a different display handle (yshanii).

It seems that their user handle is still the same underscored shenanigans (_lesspie_), but that may change once they catch on to people sharing it.
Note: it is difficult to block/ban due to underscores. Utilize the UID. This also prevents them bypassing blocks/bans with changes of username etc.
They can't change their UID.
The scammer's UID is: 1364627299848421466
Remember, if an artist messages you without prior contact, it's probably a scammer.
Check the UID if you're not certain.

My 2 cents on mis-information

I've got a saying:
A lie has done 5 laps around the world while the truth is still putting on his shoes.
Also, most people within the ABDL community are not up to anything nefarious.
Hell, a large group of furs that run your conventions are part of the ABDL community.
That being said, if you really wish to learn the truth about me, actually get to know me instead of believing the defamatory lies being spread by someone who never met me.
It all started because I blocked someone on my former AD Twitter due to the way they were (in my opinion) stalking and mis-treating a large number of furs on AD Twitter. (And potentially breaking the law in their actions.)
They retaliated against furs on AD Twitter who merely decided we didn't want to interact with them. Spreading similar false claims en masse.
There's also people making false claims about those within the ABDL community. Making connections that simply do not exist.
For instance, mis-using and or hacking websites to gain access to information you should not have is a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Just like accessing a site or profile that is intended (and labeled as such) to be only for those of a certain age, and you are not of that certain age, is also a violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
Though upon finding out that Twitter at the time didn't require logins to view "Sensitive Media" and didn't have a proper age warning up front about said media (it was buried in the TOS) - I decided to delete my AD Twitter because I actually agree that certain people should not have super easy access to certain content.
I did used to run a couple NSFW Booru Image boards for one of my sites.
Now Booru doesn't allow any up-front age warnings for their NSFW Image Boards and I figured the only way to the ones I ran were via a website that had an Age Verification System, everyone on it should be over 18. (I also added it as the rules to the Booru on a Sticky Thread on the Booru's Forum Page, which was the only way to add such rules to their sites.)
I found out several things about how Booru operates, including that not only did they link to all hosted Image Boards directly on their own sites -- they also allowed Search engines to spider ALL of them, including the NSFW ones. (Was bad enough they didn't allow hiding the NSFW images unless one was logged in.)
Upon learning this, I decided -- nearly a decade ago -- to disaccoate myself and my sites from Booru. Deleting those Image Boards entirely.
I only ever interacted with folks on my own Booru's -- under the impression they came via a site with an Age Verification System that ensured they were properly following the rules for the Booru and it's age restrictions.
Just know that mis-information is running rampant, and you cannot believe everything you see/hear.

Regarding the new Policy Update
Posted 2 years agoThe worst thing about this entire thing is that chibi style art will also be banned even if characters are adults.
"Too cute" or "out of proportion" art will also flag for a permanent ban.
The thing is, when it comes to FICTIONAL characters, unless it is put into some sort of context - there really isn't any way to prove age, and using proportions as an indication that a character "might be" underage just means that super short ADULTS (which DO REALLY EXIST, I work with someone TWICE MY AGE who looks like a 10 year old both in overall appearance and her proportions) could end up creating a lot of false flags for content moderation.
It's really a flawed argument, since "aging up" changes the character from what it really is to something it isn't. No one can "age up" my co-worker and make her look any older, even though she's well into her 40s.
IMHO, this is a slippery slope and will lead to a vast majority of artwork of Pokemon/Digimon - and any character based on any of these creatures (like mine) - will be flagged as a violation of the new rules, even though the characters are actually adults.
This also may begin to target ALL ABDL content in the future.
Knowing how the admins are on this site - there will be accounts that more than likely will vanish for no good reason, simply because I have personally seen the mods not be FAIR OR UNBIASED in their decisions about such things.
One of those mods ACTUALLY BANNED ME before for merely having information about my own website projects, including Drako's Den, listed on my profile information. (I was literally banned for running a "competing service" and they found out.)
I had to literally chase down Dragoneer at a con to raise my concerns because I was not offered any appeals by that admin (Literally fully locked from the website) -- and he decided that the admin had way overstepped their bounds because I had not actually done anything in violation of the sites rules. (The ban also ended up happening after they met me and simply disagreed with a viewpoint I had outside the website.)
That being said, I do not see this rule change as a good thing and will no longer have ANY ABDL content on FA.

Now that the asshats on the right and their Christian roots have started the movement to TAKE US BACK TO THE 17TH CENTURY.
First and foremost - NO MAN HAS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHAT A WOMAN DOES WITH HER OWN FUCKING BODY.
THOSE SAME MEN STOLE THE "MY BODY, MY CHOICE" MANTRA FROM PRO-CHOICE TO CHOOSE TO ENDANGER THE PUBLIC HEALTH BY NOT GETTING THE SAFE VACCINES.
So to you asshats that had the AUDACITY to udder the words "My body, my choice" to be anti-vax:
Who the FUCK are you and what the hell happened to THE TRUE MEANING BEHIND THOSE WORDS.
You fuckers are so intent on making sure "new life" has a "fighting chance" to make it to the land of the living
BUT WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP SUPPORT THIS NEW LIFE YOU ARE FORCING INTO THE WORLD THAT IS ALREADY OVERPOPULATED AND UNABLE TO SUPPORT IT ONCE IT'S BORN.
If you are so fucking Pro-Life, you would support programs that would ensure that the children you are now FORCING WOMEN to have that:

If you cannot support such programs, than you are NOT PRO-LIFE -- YOU ARE PRO BIRTH.
Here's a tidbit, one can be BOTH pro-life (supporting children until adulthood) and pro-choice.

We need to make sure that the families these children are being born into can actually SUPPORT those children.
We need to take into consideration that these bans DO NOT allow RAPE victoms or those where childbirth becomes a LEGITIMATE life and death concern ANY CHOICE.
We need to consider ways to support this life past birth and stop focusing on the BIRTH aspect.
Just because it feeds on you and seems alive doesn't make it a sentient being that is BENEFICIAL to society.
PARASITES feed on you and are alive, but we kill them off because they are harmful to "public health."
Guess what: Overpopulation is harmful to public health.
If we have a NATIONAL HOMLESS CRISES, why the fuck do we want to force women to bring more lives into the world?
We can barely feed, clothe, and house the ones already here!
There ARE LEGITIAMTE reasons for abortion, and not all of them are medical!
At the same time, we HAVE NO RIGHT to attack someone for what is essentially a PRIVATE MATTER that doesn't affect us in any way!!
Nor do we have any right to judge them for those same private matters.
Now what's next:
THESE SAME ASSHOLES WILL BEGIN TO ATTACK THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY AND BEGIN REMOVING THE EQUAL RIGHTS WE HAVE GOTTEN SO FAR.
They admitted this was "Step 2" of their fucked up agenda - and Mr Big Bad and Red helped this agenda along.
This now includes the potential for "death camps for gays." (Which I saw coming over 4 years ago.)
Do we REALLY want to become the US of World War 2 again?
We should never have allowed this to happen, and we need to make sure we REALLY make our voices heard now and WHERE IT COUNTS - AT THE POLLS.
We should also not let ourselves fall asleep at the fucking wheel and let these issues happen ever the fuck again!
I have watched in horror as the attacks on these equal rights began to worsen the instant Gay Marriage became legal and NO ONE who it should matter to seemed to care. It's like people thought the courts could not reverse their own decisions, and now we all just got proven wrong on that point.
To make matters worse, our society has been taking steps backwards - even WITHIN the fandom - for the past 10+ years.
This includes an entire slew of SJW warriers that will spread lies, bullshit, and slander about someone (or a group of people) simply because they don't like that person or group -- in many cases these people cast judements on folks THEY NEVER MET and they REMOVE THAT PERSON/GROUPS RIGHT to face their accusors.
I get it, if someone does something to you personally that you don't like - you should bring it up with that person. THEY CANNOT FIX WHAT THEY DO NOT KNOW IS AN ISSUE! If what happened crossed the line into a legal violation, GET THE LAW INVOLVED. I'm sick and tired of the "he said, she said" bullshit and the backstabbing that has ruined people.
Just like how most of these people will start shit over things that are usually said online 20-30+ years ago.
We cannot seriously think the things we thought/knew 10-20-30+ years ago are the SAME things we think today.

We should never have allowed this to happen, and we need to make sure we REALLY make our voices heard now and WHERE IT COUNTS - AT THE POLLS.
We should also not let ourselves fall asleep at the fucking wheel and let these issues happen ever the fuck again!
I have watched in horror as the attacks on these equal rights began to worsen the instant Gay Marriage became legal and NO ONE who it should matter to seemed to care. It's like people thought the courts could not reverse their own decisions, and now we all just got proven wrong on that point.
To make matters worse, our society has been taking steps backwards - even WITHIN the fandom - for the past 10+ years.
This includes an entire slew of SJW warriers that will spread lies, bullshit, and slander about someone (or a group of people) simply because they don't like that person or group -- in many cases these people cast judements on folks THEY NEVER MET and they REMOVE THAT PERSON/GROUPS RIGHT to face their accusors.
I get it, if someone does something to you personally that you don't like - you should bring it up with that person. THEY CANNOT FIX WHAT THEY DO NOT KNOW IS AN ISSUE! If what happened crossed the line into a legal violation, GET THE LAW INVOLVED. I'm sick and tired of the "he said, she said" bullshit and the backstabbing that has ruined people.
Just like how most of these people will start shit over things that are usually said online 20-30+ years ago.
We cannot seriously think the things we thought/knew 10-20-30+ years ago are the SAME things we think today.
Our minds are ALWAYS learning and ALWAYS changing.

Which means that even within this fandom, people are being shunned for even SEEMING different.
People have lies spread about them by those who NEVER met them, just because assumptions are made on what little is heard about them.
People are being turned away based on their Political and Religous beliefs.
THIS IS NOT WHAT THE FANDOM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE.
We were supposed to be open and welcoming, regardless of beliefs - and willing to actually embrace our nature, not be ashamed of it.

I have seen some of this first hand, even been "un-invited" to events based on lies from people who have seen me across a room - or in a chat - and NEVER actually met me or got to know the REAL me. (Yes, I said the REAL me because people can be VASTLY different offline than they are online.)
Some of those assumptions are from my rather limited interactions in NSFW chats - which since I beielive there is a time and place for _everything_ certain things will be seen in places like that -- that won't end up on say FaceBook. (Which I barely use anyways.)
So in all due honesty, what ended up happening on the National Scale today -- We did it to ourselves by letting things slide. By becoming complacent with what little was granted already. We need to always strive to not only better ourselves, but to be better to our fellow man. Don't let someone else's opinion about someone affect your decisions until you can actually MEET that person yourself and get to actually know them before you cast your own views.
We should learn to love one another, and to resepect and even embrace our differences. That doesn't mean that we need to always agree with each other, but to be open minded and willing to learn from other points of view.
However, it is NEVER right to remove someones RIGHTS to anything - especially if it's a PRIVATE matter that doesn't affect anyone else.
