Looking for suggestions!
Posted 7 years agoHey guys!
Im looking to start a Youtube chanel, just for fun, and I'm wondering what kind of content you guys want to see? I know there are thousands of furry youtubers already, but I'm curious if there is content that you think needs more attention? Looking for any suggestions on themes/topics/fun games/etc....
I do currently have a few fursuits I could use to film, or I could just be myself?
What do YOU think would draw the biggest crowd?
Thanks - Skara!

Commissions open!
Posted 8 years agoYes! I take commissions.
Only abstract works as seen in my gallery. I can work with multiple types of backgrounds, font styles, sayings, and icons.
Completely customiseable!
I offer hand painted acrylic on canvas. 20 x 25 cm
Or for a cheaper option, I can use canvas paper, but that is not my preferred method.
Quotes start at $25 and go up from there. You pay postage.
:::Disclaimer::: I am not the fastest at completing commissions, as I have a full time job, but I promise never to bite off more than I can chew. I also won't spend commission money until the commission is complete, so I will give refunds at any time, provided I have not already shipped the item to you. If I'm shipping, it will come with a tracking number and a receipt so you can see how much it was.
Please note me if you would like a quote!

Fursuit stuffs!!!
Posted 8 years agoSo I have told you about the first time I was scammed. And the second time. And then I asked for help finding a new suit maker. Its been a year since them, and I am so flipping happy that I can finally say that I have my fursuit of Skara!!! She was made by +3 Defence and she is so beautiful!!
You might also have noticed that within that time period, I bought another suit. This one was second hand, and I bought it from my friend Cameron. Thats right! I am the new owner of
Tundran
Hoping to soon add my 3rd suit to the collection, and get Taz, my thylacine made!
Thats all for now. Catch you later!

Fursuit update
Posted 9 years agoI've now finally, after months of worry and no communication, recieved my refund from the old suit maker that I had commissioned. The maker was TwerkOnThatShark, or Suits by Shark. I spoke to many of her commissioners, and they were all in the same boat as me. We believe she bit off far more than she could chew. But I do appreciate that I got my full refund, and the good news is that she acknowledges that she shouldn't be taking on any more commissions.
So, now I'm in need of some help and some suggestions as to which suit maker/makers I should look at. I need someone who can do realistic and toony, digigrade legs, wings, and complex body patterns. I want moving jaws, following eyes, possible moving eyebrows, 5 finger paw pads and the suit + padding to be slim fitting and proportionate, but with long plush fur that is shaven down in a proper wolf style. I would also prefer it if the wings could be removable from the suit. I might even consider one partial and one full suit from two different makers so I can get the right style of realistic and toony for my suit.
I am going to be super picky this time with my suit. I will be doing extensive research on anyone I'm considering as a maker, and if they don't have really postive reviews for communication and turnaround time, I will look the other way. I've been burned twice now. I can't do that again!

Delay in my Fursuit... Again
Posted 9 years agoSo after the debacle with the last person I commissioned to make me a suit, I found someone new and managed to commission her. She promised me a FurDU 2016 deadline to have my suit for the con. But now we are two weeks out from the con and this new suit maker has gone AWOL. I've had no communication from her and I've seen no photos of the suit. I've been speaking to one of her other commissioners too, and they say she's done the same thing to them. Not sure what's going on, but since I'm leaving for Africa soon, I'm kinda worried I'll never get my suit!!! :(
I'll keep you guys updated, and if I ever get my suit, I'll let you know who this maker is and do a full review.

I got scammed :(
Posted 10 years agoSo I'm writing this just to warn people of a suit maker who did wrong by me. Alie the Kitsune (Natalie Fernandez/starry_Kitsune) is a fursuit maker that I commissioned back in February, and it has been a nightmare ever since. I found Alie here on Furaffinity, and I commissioned her to make a full digitgrade suit as well as a half plantigrade suit. From the date I made my first deposit in February through to the last date I made a payment in June I had made monthly payments on the suit, adding up to several thousand dollars. Her terms of service said she would start work 2 weeks after the deposit was sent, and she knew and accepted that I needed my suit for a con in May 2016. I found out in August that she had actually spent all of my money and had not even started on my suit, not even ordered furs or anything. But she was still taking in more commissions and was continually making and selling premade heads. From the start she was extremely hard to get in contact with, and when she did get back to me she came up with a lot of excuses as to why nothing had been done, and she still never answered any of my questions until I had asked 3-4 times. In August I decided that I was sick of the horrible service and unprofessional way she had conducted business. She agreed that she would refund me the money, but still to this day I have not seen a single cent of it. I found a way to contact her through instagram, and when she does reply to me, she is extremely rude and again comes up with excuses as to why she hasn't sent me any of the refund. She even tried to guilt trip me for asking for my money back. I just wanted to warn people that this maker is very unprofessional and may take your money and give you nothing in return. Please be careful when commissioning someone, do heaps of research on them first and try not to pay too much up front if you can possibly avoid it. :(
