December Overtime Workdays
Posted 9 months agoWell, guys, the busiest month at my workplace begins tomorrow. So, I'm gonna be working 6 days straight for 9 hours throughout December since the holiday sales are starting, which means that my finished art uploads along with my commission wips are gonna be slowing down quite a bit. I can still post my old artwork on bluesky, but I will upload those sparingly and don't want to show them all off at once while I'm busy at work. I don't know if I'll be able to finish at least one drawing this December since I'll have less time to rest, but I'll try my best and take my time. Wish me luck everyone and happy holidays! ^^

Amazon Prime Week Overtime
Posted a year agoIt’s that time of the year again. My work schedules for the next two weeks will be some of the busiest days for Amazon as we enter the summer sales this month. I will be working six days straight from July 14 to July 26, meaning I will have little time to rest or finish any of my pending art. My art uploads will slow down a bit for the next two weeks, and my in-progress commissions will be delayed as well.

The End of The Road
Posted a year agoWell guys, no matter how many times I’ve redesigned Rigel since the start of this year, I just can’t stop thinking about going back to version 6 incarnation. This probably means one thing: I might’ve finally reached the end of Rigel’s redesign streak after 18 long years, and his form from 2022 / 2023 is already “perfect” that there’s no need to change him any further. I will still keep his redesigns from this year but for repurposing, so his version 6 design will be permanent now with a few tweaks to both his outfit and his genderbend form ^^ I will remake his turnaround sheet and facial expressions sheet of his version 6 design in the near future.
New Year's Resolution Plans Announcement
Posted a year agoAs 2023 come to a close, I would like to thank you guys for a good year of the Rabbit. It may not have been the best year, but it was STILL a journey from start to finish, despite all the hardships and struggles. Today in advance, I will be posting this journal entry in advance in preparation for 2024's challenges. I will be planning some goals that I will TRY to improve upon, mostly things that involve myself as a person and as a broken artist rebuilding himself back from the ruins of the past. Here will be a list of goals that I will try my best to achieve as the new year approaches:
1) Be more sociable. In previous years, I've always been a lone-wolf type of guy who always thought I could solve every problem by myself. Boy was I wrong. When I've always tried to work past a problem, whether as an artist or as a person, everything always ended up in disaster. I've never opened my eyes until now and realized how much friends I've made in the art community, even when there are just a few of them. Those small group of friends help me tons on how to open up more and leave my comfort zone. Hopefully in 2024, I will continue to connect with others and become a social butterfly one day.
2) Grow thicker skin. We all know that we don't like criticisms and feel hurt deep down, whether they are constructive or destructive, insults or not. We often get offended very easily by those that tell us what we hate to hear or read. In many cases, the truth hurts more than anything else, but we shouldn't bear those weights as a means of putting us down, but rather as a leverage for becoming or creating something better. By the new year, I will unblock some of those people that have hurt me in the past and give myself another chance to hear them out and bear with them more. I will also finally reopen all the comment sections involving all of my OC design evolutions again.
3) Speak up more. When we think we're strong, we always try to keep things to ourselves and not tell anyone how we feel about what we struggle with or when we think that we don't need anyone's help. The truth is that keeping those feelings bottled up within yourself means that you're really afraid to ask help from someone. There are still people who would wish to help you, even though you tell them that you don't need their aid, which often results in getting yourself hurt even more. So, if ever there is something that is bothering me in the future, I promise to chat with others more and try to work things out and get some closure with whatever struggles that I may go though.
4) More Commissions, Art Trades, and Collab opportunities. Starting January 1, 2024, commissions will be open to anyone at anytime. Once I've chosen the person who wants a drawing from me, I won't be able to get to the next commissioner until the aforementioned client's paid art piece is fully done. In other words, there will no longer be any commission slots, but anyone is free to ask for a commission from me whenever they want, as long as I am not too busy with something else, whether it is a life matter or personal art. However, I will only focus on one person's commission at a time until it is done and then move on to the next. I will also try my best to participate in art trades and collabs more often as well. Anyone is free to ask if they want to do art trades with me, but I will get to decide whether I will accept or not. It'll all depend on your drawing skills. Also, if you have a collab project with no time limit and are currently looking for artists, I am always here for you to ask if you wish. Lastly, with the case of requests, they will only be open during special occasions.
I hope by the end of this year, I will get a headstart on these plans and make the most out of them compared to previous years. I would like to say for my fellow art enthusiasts out there, good luck to us all in 2024. ^w^

Posted 2 years agoThe holidays are almost over, but I'm still wanting a longer rest period for the last days of 2022 and the first week of 2023. Finally, I was able to request my Amazon managers to let me take my vacation time so that I can replenish myself for when I return to work. Once more, I'll be able to focus on my drawings for the duration of my 5-day off time. That way, I'll have at least a few drawings to prepare in advance by the time January comes. Time to get some all-out artwork done and get some long-deserved rest.
Amazon Mandatory Extra Work Time (Part 3)
Posted 3 years agoI've got good news, bad news and worse news. The good news is that I'll start making nsfw art again. The bad news is that my some of my current wips, especially my 3rd Phoebe redesign, will be pushed back to January 2023, due to the worse news. And the worse news: Since the holidays are coming up, Amazon is having a huge business demand again, so you know what that means. I once again have to work 6 days and 10 hours, only THIS time it's for the ENTIRETY of December, especially now that I'm experiencing asthma attacks and difficulty breathing. So, I'll have to delay all of my fanarts and other OC drawings until the new year. HOWEVER, my final 2022 drawing will be the only exception to this plan. My progress on it will STILL continue as planned, and this time I will focus 100% on it with no distractions. I hope everyone will understand my situation right now. I still wish you all happy holidays regardless, take care.
NSFW Art: Another Chance
Posted 3 years agoWith the rise of Ai generated art, I'm starting to feel more proud and comfortable with my imperfect anatomical nsfw drawings. Sure, Ai generated works can without a doubt shade perfectly the way we artists want our works to turn out, but the one huge flaw that I see with these automated "artists" is that they don't work on art independently, meaning they can't do the job without the help of our original base drawings / sketches. In other words, imagination is the ONLY thing that ai lacks, and that's what gives us actual artists the advantage over them. I'm starting to regain confidence in wanting to draw nsfw stuff, and even though they may not turn out to be as "anatomically correct / accurate" as some of you are impossibly expecting me to get correctly, I'll still be proud of what I've made. I'm back!
No More NSFW Art (For Now)
Posted 3 years agoWith many of my most recent NSFW drawings being posted, I thought that I would once again reach greater heights, but I guess I went a little too far ahead of myself. I've been receiving criticism lately regarding my most recent lewd works, and at first I thought they were just joking or they were jealous, until I took a better look at my posts and realized how MUCH that were needed to be fixed. The thing is that I never want to disappoint my fans and want to finish my nsfw drawings as soon as possible and not keep them waiting for too long. As a result, though, my works came out half-assed, and it really upsets me. I guess I'm realizing now that lewd artwork is just not suited for my skills after all. Maybe it's best that starting at this point, I might as well return to my clean pre-2019 original sfw art that I've always wanted to make a fantasy story about, since my early college days. Who knows, though? Maybe when the time is right, I will start drawing nsfw art again. Good day.
Living with Mild Autism / Social Detachment
Posted 3 years agoI never really had the opportunity open up this much to anyone in the art and furry community until now since it gets very personal, but yes, I am mildly autistic, but I am trying to do my best to act as normal as possible without slipping up into my erratic emotional outbursts whenever I feel threatened or confronted by someone online, and then taking out my frustration on everyone else, even if it wasn't their fault. These often result in me having trust issues with a lot of people and distancing myself, even from all of my own friends. I guess I just can't control myself after all. No matter if it's in real life or online, I just can't seem to fit in with everyone and have difficulty making friends because of how I behave. Even the "freaks" think I'm a freak. It's as if I was born to be everyone's punching bag despite my talent. Everywhere I go, bad luck tends to follow, hence where I got the nickname "Bad Luck Buck." I only ended up distancing myself because I don't want to end up hurting anyone, nor do I want anyone else hurting me. These days, drawing and exploring so many art sites are my only comfort and ways of escaping this shitty reality that I have to go though everyday, but now I don't even feel safe within the art community anymore, and I feel myself slowly being crushed between two walls with no way of escaping. I just wish I could find those few people either in real life or online that I can genuinely feel comfortable to get along with, even if my chances are very narrow.
Amazon Prime Week Aftermath
Posted 3 years agoPrime Week (aka The 6 days of pain) is finally over, and thank God! Honestly, the week went much smoother than what I anticipated, given that this was supposed to be the busiest and most hectic week at Amazon. It's even weirder, considering that my work site is the number 1 highest in package volume in the US lol To make up for our hard labor, our managers bribed us with delicious meals (crepes, tacos, snow cones, hamburgers, etc.) every day after our shifts ended. Boy, they sure know how to keep their employees from quitting, and it worked on me as well XD Anyway, now that that's over with, I guess I won't be on hiatus after all, and I can resume my posts and drawings as normal per week ^_^ As usual, ocs, fanarts, commissions and nsfw drawings will be posted on a regular basis once again.
Amazon Prime Week / Possible Two-week Hiatus

During this period, I will be working 10 hours for 6 days straight, with very little time to work on my drawings, ergo, my commissions. It's going to be very busy at the warehouse that I work in specifically. So, it's most likely that I won't be able to post any artwork for the upcoming two weeks due to busy working hours, household chores, and exhaustion, and short-lived day off this weekend. With that said, I will do all I can for today to make some progress with my wips, until the 6 days of pain begins tomorrow.
