I need to be honest now, just to get this off my chest. I feel like my FA page isn't growing as much as I expected, since obviously my artwork is clearly outclassed by the majority of other people's works that are here. So, I might want to lessen my activity here just to give myself time to improve my own artwork. I will still post my commissioned and requested works here as I promised in the previous months, but then that's it. Commissions and requests will then be closed off on FA specifically soon after. My art trades and gifts will still be open for my friends, though I will not post them here until I want to. I will be gone from here for some time until I'm ready again. I will now focus on DA and inkbunny as both of my main galleries starting at this point, and all commissions and requests will remain open there. Take care, guys and shoot for the stars.

Since my ocs take much longer to research and finish, my commissions will now come first. My next paid drawing will be posted this upcoming week, followed by another. I will then open my 2nd round of three-slot commissions early next month. Also, a reminder regarding my anthro pack 2 request drawings, I will get started on them once all of my commissions for this month are done. I will be drawing each requested oc, though not in the order of whoever got the numbered slots. Instead, I will be drawing every requested oc, starting from my most favorite design up until my least favorite.

As for my upcoming sona redesign, I'm going to make him into his own different character instead which will serve as my "twin" sona. Here are the new basic requirements for anyone who wants a commission from me:

5) You MUST be a follower / watcher for 3 consecutive months, WITHOUT unfollowing. I will keep a track record of how long anyone has been following me, from their first day up to the 3rd month mark. If you decide to unfollow me, therefore you are "deleting" your record. If you change your mind and decide to re-follow me, your record will be reset back to 0 days, and you will have to wait for another 3 months before I'll allow you to get a commission from me again. I was initially working at graveyard shift from 8pm to 4am during my seasonal employee status days, but now I'll be working military shift from 3am to 11am. What this means is that I'll now be able to spend more time on my drawings after work each week, that is if I don't fall asleep from exhaustion midday though lol. This also means that I might be able to post more than one drawing per week again, depending on how complex they are of course. Sorry for the inactivity for the past two weeks, since I'm still adjusting to my new work schedule and also drafting an oc redesign which I've been spending on for almost a whole year now.

As a follow-up to my previous journal entry, I've already gotten a jumpstart to recovery from the huge stress that I've had from social media these past couple of months. I've finally managed to vent out most of my frustration and chat with some of my friends on Discord. Though, I haven't completely shared what really wanted to tell in my previous journal since my explanation would've gotten more personal at that point, which is why I'm making a follow-up to help get back on my feet. For my artwork, I want to spend a little more time with myself and give my style a more unique and proper identity. I'll still have to rely on my favorite artists' styles though, but I know now that they'll definitely help me shape the kind of art style that I really want to make.

I also should've mentioned this some time ago, but as of right now, I'm officially a temporary Amazon warehouse employee, and I'm almost on my second month mark working there. It's a pretty medial and exhausting job, especially since I'm always in the graveyard shift, but at least I'm getting paid for it. Because of this, I'll be inactive from all art sites for 5 days more or less, depending on holidays and mandatory overtime shifts. I'll only be able to post one or two drawings per week, which is at least better than nothing.

Back to the main subject, I will be focusing on my own drawings a lot more for the time being to understand myself better as an artist, so these will be the following plans that I will follow through to make myself better:


1) Old OC revivals: Long before I joined the community, I've already started making furry art as early as 2008. Throughout those years, I created about a total of 21 ocs, in which only 5 made it to this day while the rest were scrapped or lost in time. But now that I've somewhat revealed what I had to say in my previous entry, I can finally go ahead with my original plan to bring back my remaining 16 "dead" ocs, which I'll post each one randomly in between my upcoming fanarts.


2) Commissions, art trades and gifts will be closed for now.


3) More frequent nsfw content: Hey, guys like me will need to get a good kick out of the juicy stuff, right? lol

I was reluctant on keeping this a secret for two and a half years, but I just couldn't keep it inside anymore. I guess it's time I tell the truth why I really joined the online art community in the first place ever since 2019. I do love drawing and posting anthropomorphic and furry characters, but the ideas and inspirations behind them are much more ridiculous and insecure than many people initially thought. From my very first Scorbunny post up until my latest Lola Bunny fanart, all of my posted drawings were made from the sheer jealousy that I had over my favorite artists that I've followed for years prior to joining the art community myself. Whenever I one of my favorite artists posts a character art or fanart, whether it was safe or nsfw, I tend to follow along soon afterwards and draw my own version of that said character. Basically since the beginning, I've been living in the shadows of my idolized artists for so long and copying their art styles hoping that I would get my own fans. This would help explain to you guys why my art style has always been different and inconsistent in terms of color, shading, lineart, etc. Because of this, many people thought of my art style as a "knock-off" or a "worse" version of one of my favorite artists works. They would tell me to quit being an artist or get banned for being a copycat. I would often disable / turn off the comments section of my posted drawing to avoid being judged by others as it always irritates me. As a result, I got more and more angry and frustrated to the point where I started comparing my own art to the works of the artists that I admired so much (TysonTan, Mahsira, MNXenX, joaoppereiraus, RUDragon and many more). That's when I finally decided to break silence. I love their works so much, but as time went on, I grew angry and jealous of my favorite artists that started secretly competing with them. But no matter how hard I try to catch up with them, I'm always left in their shadows thinking that they're always one step ahead of me. I'm basically just a guy who has an inferiority complex, one who's always thinking that my idols are always better than me. I couldn't reveal this truth up until now because I was so afraid that I would lose followers and the friends that I've made here in the art community, and they would think that I'm just a selfish person who wants nothing but attention and recognition from others. And I guess now most of you won't look at all of my drawings the same way again now that you know the true motives behind them.

2. You can use my image for commercial reasons, as long as I get credit; 'creative commons license'

3. If your character design is too complicated (I will let you know), or if you request any extra detail, I reserve the right to charge more.

4. Keep your composure and be polite when negotiating with me. If you do not cooperate, I could refuse to draw for you.

5. Your commission may take about 2-3 weeks to complete, depending on any situation that delays my progress.
