So this is from my phone so apologies for lameness. So I went to my second con in 5 years and I wandered around as a charmander and it was fun and then on saturday i went in a cute pink dress and then I got hella drunk and danced super hard and now I'm really sore and now I'm a charmander again.

I'm sitting here trying to motivate myself and instead I just refresh twitter and FA repeatedly. I need a swift kick in the pants so I can start writing 8(

If you're reading this, you probably noticed a pair of stories just went up in my gallery. So it turns out I really like money, and I like it when strangers give me money for goods, and apparently I'm not fit to pose on a street corner so instead I'm writing stories about babies for money.

Right now I'm charging by the half-hour of work, which lets me feel good about working for an hour and fifteen minutes and slacking of for fifteen minutes of it. This is generally about 650-700 words, and if I hit too far under that then I'll keep writing until it's closer to the intended value, free of charge. This is so you know what you're getting at minimum, and stories that get me driven or happy to work with or with easy and well laid out structure you get more for your money. It also lets me go 'Okay, I will work for X amount of time tonight, and earn Y moneys', which lets me partition time better, which I'm bad at.

Current rates:
7$ USD for 30 minutes of work and 600 words minimum. You can either ask for a story until it's completed, a block of time, or an amount of words, and I can make it happen. I'm a wizard like that.

I'm kinda getting a writing itch from a discussion with  LittleRedLoli, kinda keeping the general idea in wraps. But it's got an episodic element to it, featuring a different person from the fandom each week. I'll be talking to her about getting her to illustrate it, but I'm curious as to who'd be interested in having a part.

Themes would include forced babying, optional mental regression, embarrassment and most likely kidnapping, and costumes! I'd write the first part independent of everything else. Might even make the bundled story/picture a 5/10 dollar commission deal, depending on how Red feels :O

Most people who currently follow my mate,  littleredloli will know that she got jumped by unexpected bills last night and we were temporarily in serious straights. We're doing a bit better now because a lot of you guys pitched in and donated money, and really, there's no thanks enough. I'm currently pulling all the hours I can at Target to pay bills while she's still on the job hunt (She's got an interview coming up! Wish her luck!) and it's really stressing both of us a lot, but we should be clear of the tunnel soon.

But to all of you who actually gave her money, it doesn't just help her, it helps me too. We're kind of a conjoined pair, and even if it wasn't intended to help me, it really does, and I won't forget it. Eventually we'll be able to do more than work and sleep, and when we do, I'll be coming for you guys.

In the, uh, best possible way. YEAH.

edit: Just as an aside, if you ever want a way to keep helping and stuff, just check out Reds streams. There's usually a small but rather choice smattering group of people attending, it's a very relaxed atmosphere and she generally has a microphone and sometimes a video camera. It's lots of fun and she'd appreciate seeing more people :) That's all!

Hi all! So um I post like, once a year, but that's okay. :D

So, it turns out that I'm really, really good at writing and recording Hypnotic tracks. Subliminal things are a bit beyond me (They're like magnets, HOW DO THEY WORK?!), but straightforward inductions and bodies and awakenings I can do pretty well with a lot of success from the people who listen.

My question is, would anyone actually want to buy customized hypnosis tracks? I'd probably not charge until there's enough people looking for things and stuff. Because nobody knows if I suck or not yet (I don't!), so I wouldn't charge for a blind product. I'd probably give away a bunch of free customized tracks to people for spreading the word, then I'd look for little bits of money? I dunno.

I'm just looking for methods of additional income at the moment, and, well, I'm really good at Hypnosis, so, monetize your skills bro!

I feel like doodling stuff and working on DRAWING BOXES and VAGUELY HUMANOID BODY PARTS, so I might stream just so I can chat with people and whatnot. Would anyone actually peek?

So my little Asus EEE PC netbook is dying, and I yam sad. I then crushed this sadness by SPENDING MONEY.

I got the new Asus (GEE CAN YOU TELL I LIKE THE COMPANY) Eee Transformer Prime, which is a tablet that comes with a QWERTY Keyboard dock that extends battery life (16 hours when docked), USB ports, and other nifty stuff. The OS on it is super nice, the specs are hilariously high (i3 Quad-core), the sound is nice, and according to my dad it's "Embarrassingly easier to navigate than my iPad 2".

Also, there was only one for sale within 100 miles of where I lived o_o I literally mean one; One store had one left in stock when I called. It's clearly selling well! Even Gamestop carries it! (USUALLY, sold out everwhere haha)

Am happy. But my poor lappy, I'm very pack-ratty and nostalgiay. For christmas, I built a close friend of mine a cool desktop for him to use/game on, because he had been using a laptop I got in HIGH SCHOOL for over a year. I feel bad looking at it, nobody wants it anymore and it served me well, and my friend, but it's almost junk now. Old, falling apart, out dated, charger has been replaced and even the NEW one is held together with electrical tape, and it requires a cooling pad to do anything that isn't Firefox.

So I'm sad to see my netbook go, too. I think it'll take me a couple of hours of looking through it to clear out old files, save stuff I'm attached to, and then finally kill it with a format. I'm donating it to a computer store near me that recycles old computer, so I want it clean and formatted for that.

I'm such a soppy computer person ;-;

PS: I'm actually pretty tempted to just close down my FA, I've started to have a lot of distaste for a lot of the community, but I feel that if I did close it down, I'd manually check peoples pages. I might, though, we'll see.

I dunno what ever happened, I used to be a huge avid Roleplayer and was at it basically constantly, and then for some reason I stopped talking to people (Or vice versa!). It makes me sad, I still love it, I just never get the chance to do it :C

What're all y'alls feelings on RP, and actions too I guess? I'll add that I'm not against it still; If you're an RPer looking for another RPer, I (believe I) have my info up!

So in all honesty, for the longest time, I've felt like I have no place on the internet. I have zilcho to offer, and because of that I have zilcho friends. Let's be honest, here, the three kinds of people who get to have a community here on FA are people who are artists, who are affiliated with artists (Significant other, bff, roommate), or who make enough money/have cheap enough hobbies that they can frequently commission artists.

I used to have an 'in' to having friends; a friend who was an artist, a better babyfur than me, and we were good friends. Suddenly, I was included! People even TALKED to me, either out of curtosy to my friend, or as an in to reach my friend. And now we aren't good friends anymore. Coincidentally, people stopped approaching me, ever. I was just a past-time or a means to an end.

So now we reach Christmas, where people celebrate friendship and kindness, and give and get all sorts of gifts. So I get to read all the journals of all the people happy to have their friends, and I am not even allowed to feel BAD, because guess who has expensive presents coming. So what grounds do I have to be sad? None.

So this christmas, I get to remind myself of the one-way friendships, the instant messenger names who have outgoing logs only, the fact that here in the great and grand furry community, talk is cheap and sentiment is free, especially if you have time free between commissions. I can offer nothing, so why am I hear? Just a delusion, the hopes that once every few months, someone thinks I might be an artist who doesn't post stuff, or someone who sees me firstly as a local to Kalida and secondly as someone who has commissioned people once or twice.

I just can't help but look at the people who get their pick of a crop of friends, and I haven't seen a kernel more than once every six months. I have plans to go out on my birthday next week, but I have a hard time shaking my christmas-time gloom enough to look forward to it.

Sigh.
