Hey, so many of you have noticed that I’ll sometimes do YCHs that feature a friend’s OC as pred, and I’ve gotten a lot of questions about it lately. Saying this now before it becomes a problem: please do not come to me asking to feature your character in a YCH, I am not taking requests. If it’s something I want to do, then I will approach you about it. I wanna keep this as an occasional thing. Thanks for understanding.

I don’t really know how to start this, but suffice it to say that I’ve had a crazy amount of comm demands lately. While I’m incredibly thankful for the business and love for my work, my queue has actually been growing faster than I can finish pieces, and that’s been pretty stressful. I by no means wanna come across and ungreatful for all the interest, it’s just that it’s hard to keep up with. Becasue of this, starting Nov 1st, I’m going to try out a slight price increase to see if that brings demand more in-line with what I can supply. I kinda hate doing it becasue I know a lot of people in the community with very limited budgets, but it’s just not feasible for me to keep going at my current pace. Right now, I’m just going to increase the base rate for each rendering level by $10, so lineart now starts at 40, flat color at 60, and shading at 80, and for now the price of add-ons will stay the same. Again, this takes effect Nov 1, so if we’ve already talked and I have you in my queue, you’re still grandfathered in to the old prices. That also goes for any new comms before the start of the month, but any that come after the 1st will be with the new prices.

God I hate economics. I’d do this for free if I didn’t have to pay bills :’)

Why is it that saying “down the (rabbit/fox/mouse) hole” is one of the hottest things ever to me in an AV context? Like, I know it’s cliche but c’mon.

So, I’ve got like a HUGE list of art ideas that I wanna draw, but as I work on commissions and YCHs full time, I have very little time for those personal projects. So, I wanna start offering what basiacally amounts to ‘adopt a prompt’ from the list, with a 10% discount from what would be the normal price. If you’re curious in taking an idea from the list lmk a general theme you’re interested in and I can see if any of the prompts fit the bill and offer them up. So yeah, just a way I could indulge some of my own ideas and give a comm discount to anyone whose interests align.

Moving to a different state, I’m in the process of packing up, so gonna be less active for a little bit.

So, I’m in an open-poly relationship with a trans partner, and their other partner is also gender non conforming. Basically the epitome of sin as far as our current location of residence is concerned, and it’s not a safe environment. In fact, it’s one we’ve been trying to leave for nearly a year now, and we are finally able to do so. Our move next month would not be possible without the charitable assistance from trans relocation organizations. There are multiple entities out there whose mission is to help trans and queer people move to safer locations, and this is super important- like, we all know what’s going on over here in the states right now. If you happen to be able, please consider donating to a trans relocation assistance organization, we genuinely owe them our lives.

So it was apparently paw day the other day? How do people find out about all these themed days everyone seems to agree on lol? I only ever know the day of or after the fact, but never far enough out to plan anything, and I would like to.

I’ve always had a bit of trouble distinguishing pinks and yellows, especially if they’re lighter shades. I finally put a mild tritanopia filter on my tablet and life is so much better now.

Holiday themed spicy art is often the only thing I like about holidays. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get to it for easter this time, which sucks because today was both easter AND 420. Well, just know that in an alternate timeline you could’ve gotten a thicc sunk and bunny duo hotboxing some micros :’)

Anyone else feel incredibly uncomfortable when watching a movie/show with someone and it has a vore or macro scene? I just feel deeply uncomfortable watching those scenes next to friends or family because of how much the subject mater is a kink for me; it’s like suddenly I’m watching porn next to these people and that’s awkward. Anyone else experience this? Just curious.

I've been having a thought lately in my silly little rabbit brain, an urge to try something experimental. I think I'd like to do some traditional art...which may be strange considering I used to do monochrome photorealism/surreal horror. So this is me asking if there's any interest in that sort of thing at all, and to say that for anyone legitimately interested in that style to feel free to brainstorm with me.

I’ve really enjoyed doing the speed draws lately that I’ve been putting in scraps, and would love to do them by audience request or poll on stream. Have been testing it some with mixed success, as sometimes the stream is fine, and other times OBS is like, ‘Nah’. But assuming I can get that worked out, any interest in this?

Specifically the page where you can see the list of users who’ve favorited a specific piece you’ve posted. I don’t use it too often, but I could swear it used to be left aligned whereas now it seems to be all condensed to the center. Am I crazy and just remembering that wrong, did I accidentally hit a setting, or did FA change this?

I think I‘m gonna start posting some sketches and speed drawing to the scraps folder more often. Trying to be less of a perfectionist about what I put up, and there’s so many concepts and comics I wanna put out there, but realistically don’t have the time to fully render all of them. Not to say that I won’t come back and render them eventually, but I’d much rather the placeholder for an idea be a picture than just words on my notes app :P

Every year I’m so hyped for the new zodiac animal to get some love in the NSFW furry art scene, and me being excited to finally participate in that trend…and then it turns out to be year of the snake….I’m so salty. I’m super not a fan of snakes in nsfw T.T. But hey, year of the horse is next ^^

I just wanted to say that even though it may be cliche, a rabbit pred saying “down the rabbit hole” in an OV or AV context is genuinely the hottest thing I can ever hear. Same goes for foxholes too!

Heads up for any and all interested, I’ll be doing a mawshot with prey YCH auction once I finish my current comm. I’ll probably start doing the auctions occasionally for more complex stuff that would otherwise make the unlimited YCHs I’ve been doing too expensive/time consuming, but the regular YCHs will still be happening too- some may even have some guest characters * hint *. For the time being though, open mouths are too variable and complex for me to do outside of an auction.

Hey all. Just wanted to ask to please spare a thought for those of us in the Indigenous community today. I have been thankful for the furry community over the past year especially, and for everyone that’s helped me out and taken an interest in the genera I create. I am not always so fortunate to find as welcoming of a space, and I genuinely do not know where I would be now without this outlet and the people that make it up. Thank you all, here’s to us all moving forward further.

I’d like to do a maw shot or imminent vore YCH, but I think I’d need to make it much more expensive than my usual YCHs unless I limited the species of the pred slot, which in not ideal. This is because mouths are detailed and really variable depending on the species of the character, and thus a lot more work to do custom versions of. I generally prefer to keep YCHs less expensive so they’re more accessible to more people, so this problem makes be feel kinda strange. However, I think that the best move for this is to occasionally do limited slot YCH auctions for pieces that have subject mater otherwise too complicated for me to run as usual. That doesn’t affect how I usually run YCHs, just an extra thing that might happen sometimes.
