These past few weeks have been really hard on me and very stressful. I recently went to the eye doctor, and I was diagnosed with retinal detachment. I knew my vision was just bad but I didn't realize it was this bad. I don't know how long it was like this but my good eye was compensating for my bad one.
the doctor said that I could lose vision the doctor said that I could lose vision in my right eye, it can be fixed with surgery but it costs far too much and i do not have health insurance. I have been doing a lotof calling around and paperwork, trying to get something worked out before I lose vision completely or it spreads to my good eye.
I'm sorry to anyone I owe art to and I hope you understand that without my vision it's really difficult to make any kind of art but I will get to it as soon as I can and I hope you accept my apologies.
If I don't qualify for free health insurance I might open up a go fund me if anyone would be willing to throw me a couple bucks to help out that'd be good but I don't really expect anything thank you everyone and I'm sorry to bring this up but I needed to let people know why I wasn't being active

Earlier this month I went to Sabotencon with my mate~

I got some time off from work and we went for the whole four days of the convention and had a lot of fun.
I got a Sylveon Hoodie for myself and an Umbreon for my mate from LemonBrat.com and they turned out wonderfully
Took lots of pictures and met lots of new people.

On the last day before we headed home my mate and I went to the photbooth to get some pictures and

It was a lot of fun, we are hopefully gonna go again
next year and do an artist table and we are making plans and it is getting really exciting.

Now that my initial shock is over, I was Craigslist scammed. I feel like an idiot because I ignored the warning signs. I already contacted the police but there is no guarantee that I will get my money back. I was scammed out of a little more the. 1700$ and my bank account is currently about 850 in the negative. I feel like a fool and I don't know what to do. C: just gonna try to keep smiling.

Because of this I'm going to be streaming all week with PWYW art of any and all kinds. Whatever you want name your price I will do what I can to make it happen.
I will be releasing more YCH art and adopts in hopes to raise whatever funds I can get. I know there is no way that I will get everything back I just want to get my bank account out of the red as quickly as I can. Thank you to anyone who wants to help me out I can't express how much of an idiot.

I managed to get a new car for myself with payments I can manage and I was really focusing on that as well as making it to my day job. Now that the heat is off, I will be going full back into drawing for my free time. So I will be finishing up the wing its that I had received as well as the YCH arts in my list.
I will be making more adopts and poses to be bought as well so I hope everyone can loom forward to it. I've been missing drawing so I'm very excited to be getting back on track.

The long story short of it all is my car engine has gone dead and until I can get a new car I desperately need to save as much money as I can for downpayments and gas in other peoples cars as they give me rides to and from work. How long do you think is *Too Long* to wait for a commission?
How long do you usually wait before contacting the artist?

I'd really love to hear anyone else's opinion on the matter seeing as I only have my own and I'm
fairly new to commissioning people. Though my Mate does commissions a lot and she prides on
having a fast turn around so I can be pretty understanding to artists.
