I kinda hate this holiday bc I have sensory processing disorder and everyone thinks the date makes it magically ok to send me screamers and loud flashing shit and overstimulate me and put me at risk of having a seizure
spoiler alert: if your joke could put me in the hospital or kill me it's probably not a very good joke
so have fun today and play silly tricks but PLEASE don't do things that could hurt or scare people. it's not funny

Considering Returning to FA

the fuss has died down, thankfully, and there's no more argumentative shitty people bugging me, or rape apologistic journals about... well you know who.
even though I think we all know certain issues with staff and site quality will probably never be resolved, there are some aspects of this site that I have grown to miss, namely, the sheer size of the community. Weasyl is nice and all, but it's hard to network and spread my art on there. Plus it's not as patently furry.
I still have a LOT of bones to pick with FA as a site and I'm not guaranteeing anything. But I am considering returning and would like feedback.
....also I'm a cat now. Not that that's relevant :v

i'm not the kind of dog who likes to make big abrupt permanent decisions. but with everything going on and a lot of ugly stuff on this site coming to light, a big abrupt permanent decision is long overdue.
i'm not "LEAVING FOREVURR". i don't want to make promises like that because i have no idea what the future will hold.
if FA staff issues a public apology, if shit gets fixed, if he who must not be named gets his rapist ass fired, and if the userbase of this site stops being rape-apologist, victim blaming, selfish ignorant fucks, i shall be back.
but that doesn't look too likely.
so here are the conditions of my hiatus.
-art will not be posted

In the past few days I have seen so many journals saying shit like "UR JUST CAUSING DRAMA" and "LOL RAPE IS NO BIG DEAL" and "LOL SHE WAS ASKING FOR IT"
It wasn't the main scandal that made this website so abhorrent to me. It was all of your awful thoughtless careless responses.
As someone who has been molested in the past, this is not a community I feel safe in any longer. You've all proven how disgusting and callous you really are.
I've met so many wonderful people on this website, hell, most of my teenage years were spent wasting time on here. I've been around since fucking 2008 and I've had so many reasons to be here. But those reasons aren't worth being around such a toxic and fucked up community any longer.
Those of you who are good people, who've stood by me and aren't sick assholes about the issue at hand, I'm sorry for ranting. You don't deserve it. But I've just had it up to here with this community, everyone keeps saying disgusting things and I no longer feel safe.

but the addition of a certain likely rapist/known sexual harasser to a position of high power is just
ick
10 bucks says I get a suspension for this journal even though I'm not naming names or inciting drama or breaking ANY rules, but I don't care. If they want to punish me for expressing dissatisfaction I just don't care anymore. I've really done my best to toe the line and obey every rule no matter how banal and not piss anyone off on this site, because it's an important community with a lot of people I care about in it. But it's moves like this, and the rabid censorship on part of staff, that have made me slowly lose respect for furaffinity

they posted my personal information.
they posted a picture of my face.
and then they posted horrible, rude awful things while pretending to be me.
they have blanked out everything this morning, i'm trying to use internet archives to take a look at what it was before that.

I got dog pajamas and a nice snug blankie and some money and jewelry from family friends and a TON of candy and a calendar with funny signs on it and some yoga pants for the gym and a new suitcase which is gonna be SUPER useful for FurTheMore and AC
Plus I gave more gifts than I've ever given this year bc I have a job now and it felt really good to make people happy ;u; especially my dogbrothers whom I practically showered in treats and chews and toys (Willy destroyed all of his within an hour way to fuckin go kid lmao)
Plus we had really yummy food and at work yesterday the GM treated us all to lunch :o
It's a wonderful holiday and even if you don't celebrate it I hope your day is lovely ;u;
I'm gonna go draw and eat and play skyrim and do some craftwork
I love you guys <3

Trying to connect to furnet irc
Because I really want to chat w lots of furries and I can't get on second life on my iPhone or tablet, but irc works on both
Is irc even a thing people use anymore? Fucked if I know
I downloaded irc999 on my iPhone and I put in the channel information and stuff but??? I don't even know if I'm all set up, much less how to access channels
