Alright New Years Resolutions
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone,
Finally the Christmas season is over, and working customer service for online and retail it f**king sucked. I knew it got bad but never that bad. All water under the bridge now.
My New Years resolutions for this year are to get over my 3 biggest fears: Horses, Latex, and being tied up/bondage. All of them I have history with in my childhood causing trouble, but I've been working on some meditation techniques and I'm gonna try to conquer them ^^

Black Friday is over!
Posted 12 years agoThank God it's finally over for me. I work customer service for a company and deal with retail and online orders. F**king idiots all day *flops* but it's over...however, I am told Monday is going to be worse. Oh well now time to run and burn off steam and maybe a drink or two to take the edge off.
I got hit by a car today
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone,
Yeah been a weird day. Like the title says I was hit by a car today. It happened this morning. I was walking through the parking lot at my apartment complex. I noticed a car approaching but didn't think much of it at first, but then I had a sudden bad feeling. She was a split second from hitting me, I reacted by jumping and going into a barrel roll. I managed to roll up the hood, then windshield, land flat on my back on the roof, and then slide off and landed on my feet. The ambulance was called and I got checked out, no concussion or injuries, nothing even to the car as far as damage. The lady who hit me was texting on her phone, she was more freaked than I was. I couldn't believe how close I came to serious if not fatal injury o.o But I still got to work early. What a start to the weekend haha
Just to reiterate. I am alright. I am NOT injured. So don't take this overboard ok? I just wanted to share ^^

New record!: 4.5 miles in 39:03:08
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone ^^
I'm been trying to get back into shape over this the last two years. I lost a lot of weight in 2012 and now I'm done to 223lbs, which is a 77lbs drop overall. I've been running a ton to get to all those pounds off. Since I moved back to Austin I've been running a 4.5 mile track, and tonight I set a new record of 39 minutes 3.8 seconds which shatters my old record by over 2 minutes (and on 4 hours sleep and working a 12 hour shift today). I feel great, maybe not so much in the morning but it was worth it LOL Amazing what some fear and anger generated in positive manner can do for a person's determination.

Getting over a cold and got my computer fixed
Posted 12 years ago*sneezes* hello everyone ^^
I seem to caught a little cold over this past weekend. I left work early yesterday and didn't go into today. I feel better this afternoon after pumping a bunch of meds and chugging orange juice into my system.
I also got my computer fixed, thus my absence for the last month or so. What a furry who can survive a month with a computer!? Hehe yes it was quite liberating honestly. My buddy Tracks fixed it up for me getting a bunch of malware and other nasty things off it and got it back to running like new. (I know he has a FA somewhere)
But for now back to bed *sniffles*

Posted 12 years agoLife Update and going on a trip to New Braunfels
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone,
Well I can't say life has been great but it hasn't been bad. I moved completely out of my apartment in Macon, the office found someone to move in so no penalty for me to pay. I'm living with my parents again til I can find another job. I'm trying to stay positive and keep remembering that bad times make the good times better.
I am going on a road trip to New Braunfels, leaving in the morning. My parents and I are helping my sister move into her first apartment out of college. While I'm there I have a job interview in Austin at the place I used to work. The owner found out I was available and wants me back. So I'm going to sit down and see what's on the table and tell them what I want and see if I can work something out. I don't know what day exactly, not like this is too formal, but I want to see if I can't see some old friends. So maybe I can work something out there as well ^^
That's all for now.

Got laid off today
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone,
Don't wanna go into much detail and I don't wanna parade my problems around. Short version is that I got the news around 2:30 today. I'd be a liar if I said this was not foreseen. I've got some stuff taken care of and I have jobs I am pursuing.

TMI Tuesday
Posted 12 years agoNever tried it, so I figured why not I'm bored today.
Ask anything and I'll answer honestly (after I get off work). And those who do know me personally know I'm good at giving TMI anyways

Life Update
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone,
Well life has been good ever since I got the new job. Due to Macon and Norcross being a long damn away from each other, I live with my parents in the southwest suburbs of Atlanta. Readjusting to living with them again has been...interesting. They let me have my space for the most part. The weird part is that I live in my little sister's old room, since my room got redesigned into the "Presidential Suite" and my mother put a day bed in there that I don't fit. "Why would you do that momma?" "I got the idea off HGTV" *facepalm* Now my sister's room is painted orange which is kinda funky and she has all these pics up of people I don't know and gets creepy cause I feel like they are looking at me o.o
The job has been good, I haven't gotten as much freedom as I want but I gotta get through the 90 trial period. This is first time I have worked in an office and it's...BORING XD It's so quiet and everyone is so calm. I do actually have my own office which is nice. I put my computer where no one can see it when they walk in, that way I can watch ESPN or whatever as I kill time. I hate driving through Atlanta traffic everyday, especially when the Final Four was going out and The Masters was coming in x.x Hopefully I'll be able to move up to the north side soon. Gonna try and room with some old college buddies and take the basement of their parents' house.
Anyways, hope everyone is doing fine ^^

New Job Acquired
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone,
Well after many of different interviews for new jobs spanning 4 states I finally got a new job. I will be selling these little beauties http://ernestsports.com/
I am so very excited to get it, I was shaking after I got offered the job. I get many of different perks that go along with it, and the best for me is that I actually get weekends off. Honestly, this is first job I've EVER had with weekends off. Another benefit is that I won't be living paycheck to paycheck.
But for now I am emotionally drained and about to crash from the interview and turning in my 2 weeks to my current job today.

Storm watching
Posted 12 years agoHello everyone
Seems my town is right in the path of a huge t-storm with the potential for tornados. The news reports 60-70 mph winds, golf ball sized hail, a bunch of lighting. This kinda stuff fascinates me, so I'm on my back porch sitting watching it drinking a coke zero. Come join me XD

Another one gone
Posted 12 years agoGot a call from my mother this morning. A friend of mine, a rival in high school golf, and good ol' southern boy passed away this morning. He was struck head on by a drunk driver and has been in a coma since February 8th and last I heard he was showing signs of recovery. He passed away Monday morning at the age of 22.
My biggest memory of him is the Regional Championship my senior year. We found ourselves tied at the turn going back and forth, but he took control on the back and won by 4. I gave him a hug and congratulated him after the tournament since he was the only one from his team to earn the trip to state. I did get my revenge later that year when again we went head-to-head on the same golf course, but I walked away with the 3 shot victory.
I wish his family well and that I could attend the funeral Saturday. He was the youngest of 2 boys and know this must be hard for them all. RIP Nick

Posted 13 years agoI had a cable box go down due to a power outage on Saturday. I got the new box in the mail yesterday. I went to hook it up and turn on the TV, and it wasn't working. So I call tech support. I then realize I have the cable cord in the "Cable Out" input....
Give me that damn stupid sign I'll wear it proudly XD

News you'd never think you'd get
Posted 13 years agoHello everyone,
The last couple of days have been hard for me. On Thursday afternoon around 5:00 pm an old friend from college called me. I talk to her often, she was one of my first friends in college. She has some horrible news, her fiancé shot himself in the head on Sunday night (Jan. 27). Unfortunately she was the one to find him. Why he did I don't want to get into right now. This has really struck me heavily. Everything in my life has gone a reexamination twice over, trying to determine what is really important. I have been clinging with my friend and others, just so I know they are OK and still here. I've been wondering about my job, how much I hate the place I work for and if I'm really just chasing a dog that is never gonna bark. I've looked to the heavens, regaining my spiritually health was a new year's resolution of mine but this is not what I wanted to do it with. (Sorry I usually don't get religious here but these are my inner emotions coming out) The funeral is this Saturday, I hoping to go. This is first person I've had to bury, I'm blessed enough to still have all 4 of my grandparents for the time being. The hardest thing is that once this is over I'm never going to see him again. I will be just walking down the street and see him, he's gone.
In other news, I love my new
kalida sketch. (need some good news on this journal) I came home on Friday to see her open right as I logged on. I usually wait for payday or something but I needed a pick me up badly. The result brought a much needed smile to my face and kinda snapped me out of the majority of what's been going on. She did a great job on it and I'm glad to see it got so many favorites thanks guys. Maybe I will get more cu...err...adorable art stuff in the future.

A lesson in Southern Dialect
Posted 13 years agoHello everyone,
Ok after having a 30 minute conversation with my current boss (had one just as long with the one we had before) that both have come from Northerner states (WisCONsin and Illinois). And being a master of many southern dialects: North Georgia moutians, South Georgia sticks, Hill Billy (that's a derogatory term it's Appalachian American), Mississippi Delta, Florida Everglades, and some Texan now (We're only missing Cajun). I feel this needs to be addressed just in case any northern statesmen happen to find themselves lost in southern state they can communicate a little better.
The phrase we'll be learning today is "fixin to"
What it actually means: getting ready to, about to, etc. (he couldn't come up with more examples)
How it is used: I'm fixin to leave, I'm fixin to turn on the game, I'm fixin to go the grocery store (Wow those are the examples you came up with? Nothing funnier huh?)
Most northerners get confused with these statements (shouldn't be that hard really). They like to argue it should be dropped and anyone of it's synonyms put in its place. Why should we, it such an easy phrase to say (and if you say it with the stereotypical southern draw it comes out so perfectly). They also say, "Why just say you are leaving or doing something?" Because I am not leaving or doing something I am preparing to do so (duh). If I am leaving to go somewhere there is process to leave (he has to grab his keys, wallet, and God knows what-else) that is act of the "fixing to". The act of leaving is actually walking out to my door and into my Ford Escape. It is highly important to correlated between the two of these actions.
Now there is one more MAJOR thing with this phrase (you know you've made it us look like idiots explaining this so detailed). Never ever does the "g" get added to the end of "fixin". It will always remain without the g. If someone uses the proper "ing" ending it confuses people into thinking you are actually repair something (ya know with wrenches, screws, the whole 9 yards).
This ends our lesson in southern dialect, we hope you learned something today (he hopes you did but probably not XD)
Thanks for reading,
KaGe (and his fursona's voice inside his head :D)

Perhaps working all these hours to get my birthday on Monday off....hmmm nah

Best thing I've ever seen in a bathroom
Posted 13 years agoHello everyone,
So tonight I went out to eat with my boss. After about 5 coke zeros I had to drain the main vein pretty bad. While in the bathroom I noticed one stale was broken and covered with a black trash bag. As I was about to finish a drunken man wondered on in and started going all over the broken stale. I just stopped and stared in disbelief XD He went all over it, ran onto the floor and everything. May be the best thing I have ever seen while going to the bathroom.
On a totally unrelated note,
I'm looking to get a commission for my birthday on Monday (woot!) I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I am looking for an artist to do a traditional style picture and is willing to send me the original. Of course this doesn't have to be finished by Monday (what you think I is crazy? hehe) I wanna get a pic of my favorite song "Suspension" by Mae. I started listening to Mae while in Austin and fell in love with them, they're in my upper echelon of favorite bands.

Sold My Soul...
Posted 13 years ago...for a shot at the Big Time
I'm going to state a few things first off. 1) I just want to vent and rant for a minute, so just let me stand on my soapbox and preach 2) I regret ever leaving Austin and the job I had there. I had a good thing and I let my emotions get in the away, I broke my own rule. 3) I hate the job I have now, I feel so used and lied to for what I took the job for.
Now I know people are going to read the top and say, "Be glad you had a job" and others will say, "Wish I had a job to complain about." I will be honest, whoever says that is completely right. However, I am mad and I want to vent and what-not before I do something stupid...again.
I took the job and came back to Georgia because the golf course was willing to pay for my PGA education. Now that shit is extremely expensive here is the Associated Costs of it: http://pdf.pgalinks.com/regmemos/PG.....iatedCosts.pdf Looking at that you can see why it's a sweet deal, but it's the unwritten costs that have me in a twist. I never realized what kind of golf course I was getting affiliated. It was ranked the 15th best course in the state and the best in middle Georgia, so on the surface a great place to work. Never judge a book by its cover. My title is First Assistant Golf Professional but I do next to nothing related to the job. I rarely ever get to play, I usually set up and wash carts which is what I did in high school as a "cart boy," I am not allowed to teach, and I only spend 30% in the shop with customers. All of this is due to budget cuts and we cannot hire anymore staff, we only have 2 in our department and I count as 1. Now the course is closed the 1st through the 8th for maintenance and I was told I would get paid, well not now. I was told yesterday I would not get paid after-all and I would have to work with another department to get any pay. Here's the problem, I've already made plans. I was going to spend time with my family til the 4th, especially my little sister who just broke off her engagement. After that I was going to visit some cub friends one state over for a few days before returning to work. I don't know what I am going to do. And yet still not the end of this yet. I also found out today that starting the 14th I am going to be stripped of my title and will be working a turf maintenance grunt worker until the slow period stops around the end of February. I hate this place! After this news I was severely pissed off and according to one waitress I was "walking around with a big F*** YOU! tattooed on my face" and I do not deny that. I've been at home for some time now trying to calm down but have been unable.
I just need to go back to what I did in high school. Keep my head down and don't let anyone get to me. Use this place to get my PGA education paid for and leave the first chance I get. I cannot wait, maybe return to Austin and/or somewhere else out west.
Thanks to anyone who read all that and if you don't I understand as well

Posted 13 years agoHello everyone,
Well my play in Orlando wasn't good enough. So time to rebuild and try again somewhere down the road.

Headed to Orlando tomorrow
Posted 13 years agoHello everyone,
I'm heading down to Orlando tomorrow morning around 9am. Stopping in the old college town to have lunch with some friends. Staying with my Mom's second cousin. Thinking of visiting the old hometown of Cassleberry while I'm there.
If there are any Orlando furs who wanna meet up for a drink, ice cream, etc. hit me up on here, I'll check on my iPhone when I make it ^^
