Hello everyone,

The road not taken, do you wounder about it much? I try not to think about but today, on a long drive back from visiting living Jacksonville, it crossed my mind a lot. I don't know why just kinda did.

I tried to think about what life would've been like if I denied my furry side, like if I never accepted it. In some ways it would have made the last 2 years (give or take) a lot easier. Dealing with parents and their s**t and the rejection of friends I have here at college and some back home. Would I've come out of the closet and accepted a lifestyle I used to believe was vial and utterly wrong? Probably not...but that's another story for another time.

The next question, was it worth it? I feel like it was worth everything I've been through. I've gotten to meet some incredible people, who have opened my eyes to some the best joys in life. I've taken on a whole new style of perceiving the world, and realizing how what I believed was wrong. I got involved in the best relationship I've ever had with a person who I've never felt so strongly about. I look forward to seeing where life takes next.

AHH I've gone on rambling again D: so I will stop now.

I know I'm taking this too seriously but I'm an avid sports fan especially football

but my Falcons lost to Green Bay tonight. I was really excited about this season and we finished with our best record in team history. It was our best chance to make it to the Super Bowl for the second time, and maybe win it. Oh well I guess that's what I get for getting my hopes up too high.

So now it's that time of year again, time to put away the face paint and jersey. Only thing left to do is see who wins the big game. Please ANYONE but New England.

Hello everyone,

Well today was the first day of my last semester of college yay! But other than that it's been rather stressful. I heard today that any student looking to get a job on campus would have to go by the HR Department. I have sometime and I wanted a job so I went. I get instructed to follow this website "orientation" which included filling like 20 damn forms and watch 5 hours of training videos with quizzes at the end of each one. After finishing that whole mess I may not even get a job UGH!

I'm so brainfried x.x I'm going to go work out and maybe find some energy

Hello everyone,

Well today I officially lost my appeal to keep Georgia's HOPE scholarship. If you live in Georgia I'm sure you know all the stupid rules that apply to HOPE. I am losing mine for having too many hours taken, this is due to fact that my adviser signed me up for a class I did not need or want. I withdrew from the class but it still counts as attempted hours and thus I have too many hours.

Well I thought this may be the end of my college hopes. However, after pulling a few strings and making a few phone calls I have found a way to beat the system. I dropped 2 classes I didn't need to graduate and I will only be taking 6 hours (2 classes). I talked to the Dean of Housing and she is allowing me to stay in my apartment on campus and I still receive my student loans.

So now after all that I will be to attend my last semester of college. Hooray for beating the system! :D

As the title says HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello everyone,

Well the day and a half have been rather stressful. Around 3 o'clock yesterday my grandpa (mother's side) was complaining of chest pains and couldn't breathe. The initial tests showed he was not getting enough oxygen in his blood. They put him on some medication to help more oxygen in his blood. He was released today, with the doctor telling us he is showing some of the early signs of lung cancer. Which to be honest, is no surprise considering his smoking habits.

It's been interesting visit this year for Christmas, it marks the 1 year since my parents logged onto my computer and found out about Cody and I's relation, my furry stuff, and my AB/DL stuff; and it's the longest I've been home since summer. My parents have been really avoiding the subject, and that doesn't really bother me. However, my little sister and I's relationship seems to have taken a big hit. I don't feel as close to her as I use to, and that's very upsetting to me. From some of the talks we've had, she feels like I have let her down and have started a war within our family.

Other than that, I have to fight with my school financial aid department. I'm losing the HOPE scholarship due to something I didn't do. I have the Dean of my field of study fighting for me, but I'm still worried about it.

Damn I have to stop writing such long post :/

Hello everyone.

Today November 29, 2010 marks Cody's and I 1 year anniversary together. I wanted to say something special without making this all sappy and long, but I'm not very good with words.

It's been one interesting year together. We had to deal with more than any couple in their first year should have to go through. Most of those things being my fault and for that I am sorry. We had our moments of weakness with one another, trying to break down defenses the other has put up. We are still working together to do better.

Our good times together have been some of the best I've ever had. You instantly became one of my best friends and I could tell you anything. We clicked so well and sometimes it amazes me just how easy it was to know you and confine in you. I have enjoyed getting to know your family, they have taken me in so quickly and almost feel like one of the family (only if it were not of the distance).

I still do not know what the future has in store for us. I look forward to what it has for us. I love you Cody <3

I need to get outta here this weekend. I figured out that someone told me wrong and my break from school is this weekend. So all the plans I had for that are canceled now.

But now having a four day (four and a half really) weekend, I wanna go somewhere. I am thinking of going to my old hometown in Mississippi...or maybe going to the beach.

Meh IDK, I just need to take a vacation :)

Well Cody had to go home today *sniffles* I miss him already. We had a lot of fun while he was down, and we were able to work out a few things between us.

We had a cool last day. We spent it with Ozzie and Tavi in Atlanta. Ozzie nor Cody had been to The Varsity and we had to go! Once we got done we went straight to the airport and dropped Cody off. I had a hard time but having Ozzie and Tavi made it easier to deal with.

But still I didn't want him to leave. I love him and I am just ready for all the pieces to fall together so our life can be all we want it to be.

Hello everyone,

I went to see “The Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” last night. I was super excited about see the movie, hearing many good things about the book.

I really enjoyed seeing the movie. Based purely on the symbolism, the movie was perfect. The movie is full of different symbols. Now I know most movies are, but this move did more than the standard. The characters themselves were symbols by their names, and how they were designed. It doesn’t stop there, the symbols were shown in the backgrounds and how the scenes were presented.

The story is somewhat predictable, some things were easily foreseen. However, one commonly used themes were intertwined was quite unique. I can say I was highly entertained from beginning to end. The movie also was left open for a sequel. I hope it doesn’t have a sequel, but I know it will.

This movie had many different morals presented throughout the story. The first is that the line separating good and evil is a thin one. Common and shared experiences can had different and vast impacts on the people involved. The next is that conflict is not a beautiful art, and that doesn’t just apply to war or combat. Usually the winning side is paraded in stories, but no one included the great sacrifices and scares needed to win. The last is morale is that dreams are at the core of who we are. A person without dreams has lost hope and faith, the person who keeps their dreams is strong and able to push the boundaries.

Overall I give “The Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” 4 out of 5. It was well worth the watch and I may get it on DVD.
