Barely managed to write this up before the month ends lol

Commissions once again sold well over on Twitter, so I think I'll just open over there in the future.

Not really, I don't think a whole lot of exciting things happen when all I do is draw haha.
But I'm really happy that (at least for now) I get to draw for a living, it's like a dream come true!
On a little side, I've been working on a sona design for myself for quite a few months now, and they're still not finalized lol, but I love them already and hope to finish them up asap so I can get some art of them and draw em with friends ~
A lot of people think the 6 legged lion thing has been my sona all this time, which tbf, I have been using as an icon pretty much everywhere so I don't blame you, but he's just an oc lol.
I don't really have anything else of mild importance to share, so I'll leave it at that.

Wow I'm bad at keeping up with time.
Was planning on writing an update sooner, but then it was May...
Either way, on with the news:

I tried my hand at offering commissions over on twitter, sorta to test the waters, and wow the response was amazing, I was overwhelmed to say the least!
Thank you everyone again!
I'll open the next few commission slots on twitter as well to see if I can keep the interest up, if I can, I might switch to taking commissions exclusively over there (aside from private ones)
Currently I'm working off the ones I already took, so the next opening will take a little while, but if you want to grab one next time, here's my twitter again:

Late March Update (Sorry!)

I'm really embarrassed about being late about the monthly update after the very first journal, haha...
I've been meaning to write the update sooner, but to be honest nothing much happened that felt worth reporting on, but here goes!
◊ Slow Posting ◊
While posting on fA is slow, I assure you, I still draw tons!
Mostly private commissions for friends and pokemon fanart. I technically have plenty to post, but I don't want my fA to be full of pokemon art... so I think I'll only post the occasional pokemon pic.
If you do want to see more of my work than my fA is currently offering, you can go check out both my normal art and pokemon fanart twitter accounts, both of which I post art to daily (though I'm currently filling the normal art acc with old art as it's newer and I want to bulk it up a bit haha...)

February Update

Been meaning to write up an update journal for a good long while, but every time I only remember to do so when I'm already in bed...
Anyway, I'll do my best do keep you guys up to date from now on!
◊ Personal ◊
I bought Clip Studio Paint for myself in December as a sort of Christmas gift to myself haha~
It's been fun to use so far, but I'm super slow at learning/getting used to new art programmes... So while I'd like to transition over to CSP (I'm currently using Photoshop), it might take me a little while until I'm comfortable enough with it to stop using PS entirely.
I've got friends to help me along the way so I don't have to fumble around too much xD
A friend and I have gotten into the habit of doing daily art study sessions together, which I both really enjoy, and feel is helping a lot~
Can only recommend QuickPose for anyone who wants to brush up on some human anatomy:

I also really got into drawing big buff guys l 3
So far I only really draw (mostly) uncoloured sketches, but expect to see some baras when ever I get around to finishing some personal art lol
Recently I've also feel like going back to doing headworld stuff...I sorta had to abandon it some time after starting my last job around 3 years ago, but now that I'm currently a full time artist, I've been thinking about headworld stuff more often... Will have to see if I have the time to actually do anything with it though. But I hope I do!
◊ Commissions ◊
There'll be some big changes rolling around for commissions in the (possibly) near future!
I'll list them in bullet points so I don't unnecessarily text-wall you guys:
- prices will change from USD to EUR
- prices will be raised (due to this being my main job now, rather than something I do after work)
- will most likely change from sending a paypal.me link to paypal invoices
- new commission types will be added
- some of the current commission types might be removed
- some of the current commission types will be changed (hopefully raised in quality haha)
- will provide more WIPs during the commission process (nothing bad happened to warrant this, I just feel people might appreciate this more)
- might take some cheaper commissions for experimental sample work
These changes will NOT be implemented right after the posting of this journal. I will make both a heads up journal on when I'm about to raise the prices and such, to give you the chance to still get cheaper commissions, and a journal to inform you that the changes are now in effect.
So technically, nobody should be missing anything ; 3
◊ Adoptables ◊
It's been a good long while since I've posted any adopts, even though I sketch quite a few...
But making collab adopts and being a guest artist on friend's events has been so much fun, I want to get back into finishing and posting more adopts~
Maybe I'll also do more collabs, will have to see if anyone's interested in working with me haha
Well that's about everything from me for now I think!
Think I might make these updates a monthly thing, given there's anything to update about lol
Along with other journals like character giftings, commission openings or whatever else I might feel the need to write l 3

Commissions - Update

I didn't actually mean to go radio silent after just having taken on commissions, but summer finally caught up to my area.
While I can deal with it, my raggedy laptop simply can't...
It keeps overheating after around 20-40 min of use (more on the shorter end when using Photoshop)
On top of that I've been busy with preparing some job related stuff, as I had my last day of work at my old job little over a week ago.
I'm embarrassed about the delay and I'm sorry it took me so long to address it ;w;
I'm not sure just when the weathers supposed to cool down again, I checked the forecast just now and apparently it's staying like this for another 2 weeks, but I know it's not all that accurate...
For now I'll try my best to get them done, probably most work on them during the mornings and evenings when things cooled off a bit.
As for people who have messaged me, I'll be getting back to you soon, it's been a bit confusing going through notes across differnt platforms.
If you fear I might have missed you, please feel free to contact me again!

I don't know if anyone wants to give any advice for the laptop, but please be aware that I won't be putting any more money into fixing it as I have a new computer in the works and would rather spend money into getting that one set up.

On top of that I've been busy with preparing some job related stuff, as I had my last day of work at my old job little over a week ago.
I'm embarrassed about the delay and I'm sorry it took me so long to address it ;w;
I'm not sure just when the weathers supposed to cool down again, I checked the forecast just now and apparently it's staying like this for another 2 weeks, but I know it's not all that accurate...
For now I'll try my best to get them done, probably most work on them during the mornings and evenings when things cooled off a bit.

Back from the dead

I'm terribly sorry for the unannounced hiatus!
Everything from January up until this Tuesday have kinda been a blur now as I spend most of my time agonizing over my upcoming finals.
But I finished my last exam on Tuesday (I meant to write soo er but I was just kinda dead for a bit longer whoops)
I hope to be back to drawing and posting regularly real soon.
For now I'm still recovering from a neck injury (I'm currently waiting at the doc's haha..)
But once that's sorted out, I'd love to actually being an artist again lol
