Okay, now that that's over, I just wanted to let you know that I needed something new and SNAZZY to put on my profile, since a 2 year old "Oh, Hey! Sorry for the inactivity!" journal didn't look amazingly good.
SO...
You guys have any suggestions for what I could put up instead? Perhaps a fanciful story or some kind of humerous ponderings about modern society?
Oh! I know!
Perhaps I should just use THIS journal to fill the space!
Oooh, it would be risky, but all I really need is a chunk of text to make it LOOK like I am even REMOTELY engaged with my profile updates.
Besides, I HIGHLY doubt anyone would even get this far into this post. ESPECIALLY if I keep using the weird centered text and leaving huge gaps periodically between random sentences; leaving long, skinny text islands that are too short to be called paragraphs, but too random in length to have any sort of consistency.
That settles it: I'm TOTALLY using this journal now.

SO...
As you guys may have noticed, I haven't posted anything for... A rather long time! QwQ
Reasons? Well, first I was on a "last hurrah" vacation trip thing for a week. Now, I've been super busy getting prepared to move all of my stuffs 300 miles to collage! (Yup! THAT THING is starting up again... Wooh!)
I HAVE been drawing stuffs during this time. Most of them are traditional doodles, and the digital pieces I've done are somewhat incomplete, so I may or may not post a few things from that.
So... Yeah!
Also, apparently during my hiatus of posting new arts, I SOMEHOW reached (and PASSED) 400 watchers!! O-O
I will have to do something to celebrate this... Perhaps a special stream once I get settled in down at collage? x3

Seriously, what have I been DOING this whole time? Where are all the fuzzy drawings?!
Well, the short answer is Collage.
BUT THAT HASN'T STOPPED ME BEFORE, obviously! It's mainly because my current projects aren't fuzzy-related and also are taking up a LOT of my time and energy.
(Also, because I've been animating so much I've sort of wanted to stay away from digital stuffs, thus all of the traditional doodles lately.)
Anyways, the term will be coming to a close here soon, so do expect me to get more active again!
(As a side note, I'm also nearing 350 watchers!! That is a STAGGERING amount that I never thought I would recieve, so I will most likely do a raffle thing once I've reached that milestone!)

Heyo! Just wanted to keep you guys informed on my little situation!
Let me preface this by saying that everything is okay now though, and that I should be arting more soon!
So, first order of business is that I have been back home for about a week and a half now for winter break! I successfully survived my first term of college, and I somehow got good grades!
That being said however, quite a few things have happened to somewhat hinder my arting as of late. Mainly, my house flooded! (Weird underground spring or something. This is the 4th time my house, which is on a HILL, has flooded due to multiple random reasons.) Anyways, yeah, that displaced me to sleeping in our RV for the first week back. It had limited power and I couldn't charge my phone and my computer at the same time...
Speaking of power, we actually had a power outage that lasted for a whole day. (And of course on a day that I was working on a drawing and had to stop early due to my battery running out.)
Not all of my distractions were bad though! For example, I've been able to actually get together with friends and such! I also sung in a local choir (directed by my mother) and we performed at The Grotto's "Festival of Lights" up in Portland, Oregon! (We actually did an entire cantata!)
I have been making SOME stuffs, but not really "finished" things. (I may end up posting a few sketches that I've done just to, you know, look "alive!"
Anyways, I hope all of you are doing well and are having a great holiday season so far!!

Heading off to college!

HOO, BOY! It's been rather hectic this last month. So many things going on, so much traveling, so much PLANNING...
BUT...
Now I'm going to be heading down to Southern Oregon to start my first year of college this coming Wednesday!
Now, what this means is, I'm not sure how much time I'll have to draw ans such. I may have a bunch, I may have very little, who knows. I'm going to be taking an actual animation class, so that may very well be time-consuming. x3
Over all, it's going to be a really fun, weird experience, I think. I'm going to be in a bigger city, I'm going to have different friends, I'll be "on my own" and away from my immediate family; even for my birthday!
On the bright side, I'll be able to work on a thing I've been planning for quite some time... Something that would be GREAT for conventions. ;P

Okay, so there was another thing that happened recently that I feel REALLY bad that I didn't say anything about it...
Somehow, this animation of mine somehow became INCREDIBLY popular. (In comparison to my other submissions.)
Now, I know for a FACT that someone hyped it, but I had absolutely no luck finding the person who did it. In other words, if you're seeing this, -insertwhoeveritishere-, THANK YOU!!
Because of the sudden view spike, I somehow managed to gain about 20 new watchers; surpassing my personal "year-end goal" of surpassing 300 watchers!
Seriously, MANY THINGS to EVERYONE who's watched me so far! You have no idea how amazing it is to know that 1/3rd of the population of my home town has not only seen my art, but also liked it so much that they want to see what I come up with next. I'm absolutely thrilled and I hope that I can do something amazing in the future.
I mean, just look at how bad I was just over four years ago! I like to compare that to what I'm able to do now and it REALLY excites me to what I'll be able to do in the NEXT four years! ^^
Anyways, I suppose I've rambled on enough.

I figured that summer's coming up, and what better way to celebrate than a POOL PARTY RAFFLE?!!
Well, it's a raffle in which most people will win...! The raffle will just determine who chooses what spot first. x3
I currently only have 7 spots in my initial tiny sketch, (which is only a general layout right now,) but I may add more depending on how popular this is, if at all.

Got my replacement tablet; the Cintiq Companion 2!
Was accepted to Southern Oregon University; doing a LOT of scholarship work.
I now own the Jackbox Party Pack, so expect more streams involving Drawful!

- I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on right now. -
Currently, my fancy-schmancy brand new tablet completely died. I had the infamous charging port issue, so I sent it back for a refund.
What this means is that I haven't been, and probably won't be posting a huge amount of stuff for a little while.
The good news is that I will be trying to purchase the new Cintiq Companion 2 with my refund money, so I should be back in business within a month or so!
Until then, I may start going through some old sketches or pieces I've commissioned in the past and see if I can submit some to "fill the gap" between then and now.
I attempted to submit a slideshow of my sketch journal sketches, but apparently its file size was WAY too large for FA's limit. Hopefully I will be able to maybe upload more of a gigantic sketch dump picture with all of my doodles, but it MIGHT be a little hard to squish 41 pages onto one. ^^;
In other, unrelated news, I'm currently attempting to strengthen up my left had in the hopes to become ambidextrous. (In case anything ever happened / help with hand & arm strain.) It's a sort of slow process, but at least it's progress!

Just super busy with school and other things!
Okay, quick update! School started on the 3rd, thus the sudden inactivity! Although it's still just High School, it's pretty constant this final year! I'm going to try and get a bit more active by October, if not sooner. (Sometime after my birthday.)
I'm currently workin' on another Homecoming shirt design, as well as possibly making an animated music video thing for my sister's fiancé, who played in / produced / recorded / mixed the album for his band. (It's hopefully going to be a surprise birthday gift, but I doubt I'll get it done by the 1st.)
Anyways, I hope all of you guys are doing great!
Oh! And I almost forgot to mention...
OH MY GOSH I PASSED 250 WATCHERS!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I'm going to have to do something special for you guys as thanks for your support... Maybe a new animation tutorial or something? ^^

My reasoning behind posting WIPs...

As you may have noticed, I post quite a few WIPs here and there.
The reason for that is that I'm curious if it's worth finishing, since most of the time they're WIPs of very time-consuming projects. If I get good feedback on it, usually I'll finish it up. Otherwise... Not so much. I usually scrap the idea.
My current stand-in reference sheet is a result of your guys' feedback on the matter, encouraging me to finish the sketch I had scrapped initially.
Now, that's not as time-consumimg as, say, an animation. Those take FOREVER to make, so that's why I usually post an early WIP to see if it's even worth the effort of completing.
I just wanted to let you guys know that to me, they're not just pointless uploads; they're a way for me to get the go-ahead to either continue or cancel a project.
New thing that I REALLY want someday! o-o

The new Surface Pro has a larger screen and it looks like it has a pen with TWO buttons!
(A large improvement upon the previous pens, which were internally the same as the ones used on the Samsung Note phones.)
Also, a freaking i7 core! That means that I could finally ditch my faulty Dell laptop.
(It's great, but it's a Dell, therefor sabotages itself internally any chance it gets.)
I can HOPEFULLY afford this with my entire paycheck for my Summer job, and a little from last... MAYBE...
I'm kinda hoping to possibly get more commissions sometime...? (Doubt it.)

I do have the original Surface Pro, which is great, but it can't run things like Painter X3 or edit / render videos that well. (The Pro 3 could possibly replace both computers.)
Anyways, I'm going to try and start submitting stuffs more frequently, now that I'm not at school for 13 hours straight anymore. ^^;

So, where to start...
If you haven't noticed, I actually got commissioned last week! Haven't had one since those two yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
I finally finished illustrating a short "ABC" for my history class, so that's 26 drawings I don't have to worry about now. (In other words, YAY! FREE TIME!)
I'm actually going to be headed down to LA over spring break to visit my sister. I haven't been down there for around 10 years(?) so that should be fun. ^^
Aaand my school is having a prom sometime soon-ish. It WAS going to be "Alice in Wonderland" themed and fancy and stuff, but my junior class voted to change it to "Duck Dynasty" themed. >>
There's NO WAY ON EARTH that I'm going to THAT.
...
Except now I have to, because they voted me onto the prom court. ><
Horaaaaaaaay...... ^^;
Anyways, that's about it.
I've got to think of some new stuffs to draw!
EDIT: Just got confirmation that the prom ISN'T Duck Dynasty themed, but it IS country themed, so... Yeah...

First off, happy holidays!
Secondly, my GOSH I've been busy!
For the past week my 95-year-old great-aunt has been staying at our house.
I mean, I love her to pieces, but she's the kind of person who needs wants attention 24/7.
(She's been that way all her life. She even occasionally accuses us of "abandoning" her if we leave for 15 minutes.)
In short, that doesn't leave me with a whole lot of time to do much of anything.
I'm going to try and get the raffle prizes finished soon, but please, be patient with me. >n<
