So my fiancee is hopefully coming over at the beginning of the next month and for the first time in... a very very long time I actually *feel* like writing. so I thought I'd try and earn a little extra money with one of the few things I actually have any skill with. Writing. So I'm opening a tentative 4 Slot Pay what you like commission slots. So.. Mmm, its been a while scince I posted anything on here. I dunno If anyone will read this but I hope they do. You see: I'd like to introduce myself:
Hi. I'm Antony. I'm 26 years old and live in the south of devon, england. I work as a sales assistant at a branch of spar, and am currently studying Systems Support in college so I can get a better job and hopefully live independently from my parents, and eventually bring my long time girlfriend over from the US to come live with me, or vice versa.
I have a few interests, which i try to persue enthusiastically. I like to game: RTS and RPGS are my favourites, but i'll play anything if given half a chance. I like to read books, and love the discworld series by Terry Pratchett. I also like to play Tabletop games, things like D'n'D and pathfinder: But i've been looking into new systems and want to expand my experience when I get a chance. I also like to write, but havent done so in so long.
I have aspergers syndrome, and this means that I often struggle to interact with people and get a lot of social context wrong. This means that I'm always awkward and nervous around people, especially if there are a lot of people I don't know around. Sometimes I wonder why I've lasted as long as I have in my current job, but that might be to do with the fact that I deal with the same people every day.
I'm not sure what to say about my personality. I'm silly and irreverant whenever i feel it appropriate, but i can be serious. I try to take a positive attitude towards everything, but it doesn't always work. LikeI said, I can be kinda shy if I don't know you, but am always ready to try and make new friends.

You may be wondering why I just posted that. Lately I've been feeling.. I dunno.. Kinda like I don't let enough people see the real me. I tend to try to avoid the topic of myself irl, and while i'll discuss stuff. I'd prefer to try and direct conversation away from it and into other persuits. This has caused me problems, but I'm trying to change things and be more of myself, for those who want to know more about me..

Riiiiight.. I hate journals... but I need to talk about this with someone or something. Over the last six months or so... scince september, i've been doing a media course at college. one element of this is the graphics element, so i've been trying to draw.. Trouble is that this is something I'm not entirely used to, but something that it turns out, i might be able to do. That, however is where the trouble just begins.. I'm not learning fast enough to develop the ideas that are in my head... teacher says i should do something simpler, but I cant.. I cant get this idea out of my head. Its burning behind my eyes and I cant think of any other idea i could possibly do. My imagination simply wont let me.. I need help.. need someone to help me devlop my ability to draw, otherwise i'm gonna fail this course.. can someone help... please?

Personally, I dont like to build for money, but money is something i need to kickstart other projects in sl, and i cant do that just from my paycheque alone, so ive decided to try and take building commissions for other people. over the next few days I will be starting to post up pictures and links to my various projects in second life, in the hopes that someone out there will like my work enough to either a) commission me, or b) buy my stuff. Commission rates will vary depending on what you want built, and usually it will come unscripted, untill i can afford things like NDE doors and stuff.

I will try my hand at any style people want, although i may be a little hard pressed with building things low prim, as thats not quite the way i work. I am willing to try though :) Rates will be decided based on the quantity and quality of work required.
