Hey guys, it's come to my attention that danbooru has a pay wall that restricts art from being seen. Its $20 but that's not the problem.

The problem is a booru is a repository of collected and uploaded art by users off site which means they do not have the right to charge users for the content shown. From fanart to personal works if it's online for free then it is stealing to upload it to your site and charge admission. Not only is it wrong it is scummy as hell.

I get steeling pay content and uploading it for free it sucks but you can justify it as free advertisement as long as it is properly tagged and all that. But there is a big fucking difference between "for free" and "with admission outside of the creators pocket"

Danbooru is charging a one-time fee of $20 for server stuff which I get, but the moment you lock free content that you did not make behind a pay wall, you fucked up.

I know its a bit rich coming from me, but I will not support my art on danbooru or ANY SITE that requires a pay wall for free shit. Now, as it stands I do not have any of my works on there. Nor did I find any on there... But seeing as search results are being a pay wall you can see my issue with that.

If you see my art on a pay site that you can legitimately find on my fa, ib, free furry sites, Twitter, tumbler, Facebook, e621, FREE r34 sites and the like please tell me. And when I do start selling my stuff behind a pay wall YOU will know
