I made an account on furrymate.com, I started with a free account, but yesterday I upgraded for 50 bucks to a silver account and yet I still cant access my inbox! I got a response! I wanna read it.

Has this happened to anyone else?
How long does it take to have the account upgraded?
Did I do something stupid?

So I will have to come clean a bit, there is a reason I don't upload yiff on my channel and that is, because I am too shy. I don't even favorite yiff art of other people for the same reason. I don't feel comfortable publicly displaying my sexual preferences, but of course there are. I could make my channel private, but I don't want to isolate myself from potential, non-registered furries scouting FA for this single reason.

But if there is anyone interested to start an private adult art trade let me know, it would be done over the likes of skype or other medium which allows file transfer. This trade would be mutual as both parties would produce art (but it doesn't have to be) and share it for feedback.

I also want to know if its any good.

My number one requirement is that the other furry MUST be 18 or older (or 21 if that's what the Law states).

I understand this might come as a shock to some of my watchers and as a "Finally! I knew he had a weird side!" to others.

But I wanted to make this option open, so if you are interested or have feedback, advice or criticism PM me here on FA.

So, I have been thinking for months now on this idea.

Making a furry movie!

We do not have to meet up in person to make this work, anyone with an access to a camera from anywhere in the world can act out their part where they live and send it in.
There is so much talk about how the furry fandom is a global friendship, so lets show others what that means.

I initally thought of making a long movie, but after some thought, it might be easier to make it a series with each episode being 15 to 20 minutes long.

Here is the concept:

Furover is a word I composed to represent a few things: the animal that represents us personally, it represents the fursuit worn over our body and it represents furry all over the globe. Also it applies to Therians experiencing the animal within them, but in this case its not by choice.

An episode will be composed using a Journal, comments will be used to allow anyfur to partake in the series (acting or not) by volunteering to act or suggesting ideas for story as well as help with he editing.
Then We will divide the episode and each actor will act out their part, the best way they see fit. Once again no need to meet up, but if you can meet other local furs who wanna part-take go for it.

After that we collect it it will be composed into an episode. This also can be done online using Skype or Tango or something similar to discuss as it is being compiled in a video editor.

Here is the Pilot Episode:

We start off by simply giving a simple, but specific defintion of what a furry is. Here we also have the possibility to mention Therians which is a subsection of Otherkin (people who identify with something other than human. But I propose we keep it to only Therians if we do as it can get complicated and this can backfire.

If we decide to use Therians in this series, I propose we expensively use a different symbol for Furry and Therian, symbols which we will show at the same time definitions are given, to make sure that the viewer understands or at least knows there is a difference.

Since people all over the globe might be sending in videos it needs to be explained how this works. I propose that being a furry allows one to develop a "furry connection" which allows instant communication to anyone in the fandom. This is primarily done through a fursuit, but can be other objects. (more detail later)

After the definitions we can show videos of people in fursuits also people without fursuits. (There is also an opportunity to get a dialog going as to what should the pilot episode cover.)

In closing:

I do NOT want this to be a documentary, there are a few of those already, lets do something different and fun.

This is a not-for-profit internet series made for fun.

This is a global effort and it is a massive project which can turn out to be something great for all of us or the project can fall flat on its face. But I see potential here! Even if this fails, I want someone to keep this idea alive.

So as some of you know, I went to my first con on April 12th of this year.

I'm so greatfull to have met so many of you! I wanted to stay and talk more to ALL of you! I prepared what i wanted to ask you if we met ... but it seems that I got so excited I forgot what I wanted to talk to you about when the opportunity arose. Many of you I've been chatting for over a year, some of you are new to me.

I realized that what I wanted the most out of con is connections, there where times I was alone and welt a bit of anxiety coming along, not sure why. But every time I was with someone and we where talking I felt a sense of relief and joy. Those fursuits bring a different side out of people, a cheerfull and uplifting side.

I saw a raccoon talking to a another raccoon in a mirror, a Wolf Police Officer from the K-9 unit, a powerfull red Panda friend of mine, an Aussie with an awesome set of wheels, a grey and brown wolf on the prowl together, Uncle Kage and even a Canadian kitten, two mythical Norse Gods and a Husky with a donut collar! ... oh who am I forgetting there are so many awesome furries! I talked to so many of you!!! you are all awesome!

If I was awkward I'm sorry it was my first con and sometimes I do not know how to start up a conversation even tough I sooooooo wanna chat!

I cannot thank you all enough, it was worth the expensive taxi ride there and back, every penny. Cannot wait for my next con!

Fur real friends!!

So I created a SL account and now I'm trying to figure out just how I can create my fursona, Karakuri in it. I'm new to this game. I know I will have to buy some mod package. If someone can help me create my character I will be able to offer you my artwork as payment as I cannot afford to pay with money.

Once I again I am not asking for freebies, I will pay with sufficient artwork, the details of which we can discuss in notes!

I did some research as to the reason, but it's not clear. There was talk of some kind of rape and accounts being wrongfully suspended by administrator staff. The usually playful atmosphere seemed to become rather serious now.

But I am still not clear as to the Exact reason.

Today is my first year on FA! I want to thank all you people who showed me around the furry fandom, guided me and helped out. I love all my watchers, thank you, you made it all worth it! To be honest initially I was reluctant to join this site, I wasn't sure about the furry world. There was a taboo associated with it. But I saw so many awesome fursuits and people behind them that one day I just said, screw it I'm signing up. I learned some confidence to try and stand on this earth on my own feet ... well now it's paws. My fursona became a spiritual copy of me, an ideal me. something to aim for, even if he is only fictional.

Today I was standing in line at a small local food store near the University. In front of me was an elderly lady with like 40 items, this wasn't a problem for me I'm generally an extremely patient guy. I was holding a Hungry Man meal and two bananas in my hand and was 2nd in line (The store only had one cash register) the elderly lady in front of me noticed me and gave me a 5 dollar bill. Yeah I she was paying for her items with cash and in the middle of the payment she also put a 5 dollar bill on top of my items.
I was shocked, for a moment I was looking around trying to figure out whats going on. But then figured a "thank you" is in order. Then I though she figured out I was a student when she saw my small laptop bag with my binder inside it and must have felt sorry for me.
(I don't like people feeling sorry for me).
The bill covered my items and I still had like 45 cents left.

I was planning to add a third tail to my kitsune character, Karakuri this summer, if I stood my ground. In January I moved out alone to Windsor to study automotive engineering at the university here, 3600 km from home. I did well in the winter semester, I was scared shitless the first two days, very very scared, but plowed on and stood my ground. Now it's summer and I'm still studying. I stood my ground and then some, but... I don't deserve my third tail just yet. I am on an emotional roller coaster sometimes, sometimes I feel strong enough to take on an army other times I feel as weak as a twig. I have not became stronger, I haven't gained confidence.
In high school my shop teacher told me that he never met anyone with such a low self esteem as me. And it's true, I have a low self esteem, but I don't necessarily consider myself depressed.
Looking at the future I worry so much that I am near a panic attack sometimes. Never had to stand my ground this way. My parents are sponsoring my education as I had sponsored about 60 percent of it for the winter, but now I'm out of money, luckily the summer was a lot cheaper. I don't wanna let them down, or anyone, but I just don't know sometimes how to grow. I'm not giving up, not after all these battles.
In high school grade 11 and 12 I loved to go to classes, I had so much fun I had confidence, a drive and dreams, but after sitting many years behind the desk in university... they are faded.

I have not grown.

(this is not to make anyone sympathize toward me, do not feel sorry for me! But this has been brewing for so long, I had to let it out.)

So today I turn 23 years old! Wow. Looking back at the road I traveled down on is ...just wow. I wanna thank my family and friends for helping me with difficult times and giving guidance and hope for the future.

Well I have looked into commissions as a way to exchange arts with talented artists and maybe earn an income to help cover my studies. I'm in university studying engineering at the moment. So if you want me to do commission you, look over my gallery to see part of what I can do then send me a note detailing what you want me to do for you. I have very beautiful artistic photographs that I have taken over the years which I can add to your picture and enhance them as well.

As for pricing, well ... since this is a first for me, I really don't know what I should charge. That too will be discussed in the notes. I wont charge you anything unrealistic, do not worry. I can send you updates of the art as it's forming if you are interested.

But first in the sea of talented commissioners, I need to know if there is room for one more ...

So this weekend I bought a new laptop, I went around to several stores to make sure that if I'm gonna invest some money I get a good unit and over the years I notice something about the electronic section of every store or even stores dedicated to only electronics. And that is that so many people have no idea about the laptops, tablets, cameras, and other electronics they sell, they either dance around questions, refer you to other people ( who usually don't know much more) or simply read off the clearly visible label which is meant to be read by the customer (and which I had already read 10 times) and the last one is most annoying. I can understand that electronics change and if you start new in this section and are not experienced, none of this applies to you, because I have been there too and it's embarrassing to not know a product. But just how many new employees can there be? And if you work in such a section at least take the time to read the user manual stored in that handy cabinet in the back or look up online, I see so many of them playing games while on duty and on the sales floor! I saw one yesterday, I was the only customer in the store at the time, but come on! So many of these unit are awaible for the salespeople to access and use, and they should do so cause that way you can also get to know what your selling. Be professional! Or at least rehearse a line that you gonna say when you dont know a product that makes you look and sound professional.
