Yeah, you read that right. I'm offering cheap commissions in order to save up some money. My husband and I will be moving soon, so I thought it would be a good idea to open up some last-minute commissions to try to bring in a little bit of spending money.

Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while. I got accepted to Job Corp. in January, and we don't have internet there. I have been working on art, but my laptop is not as good a workspace as my PC is, and I have no way to use my PC at the current time.
I've been doing very well as of late, though. Back in April, my boyfriend proposed to me and I accepted. We're now in the process of planning our wedding, and I am very excited.
I'm getting along well in Job Corp. and I'm starting to feel pretty accomplished. When I finish JC, move in with my fiance/husband, and find a job, I also intend to take a few college courses for art. I want to improve beyond what I'm doing now, and I think college sounds like a good idea. But I suppose we'll see!

I can understand if you unwatch/remove me from your list, as I honestly can't promise you artwork at the present time. I will try to update as much as I can, but the only time I get internet is when I come home for the weekends, and I spend as much of that time sleeping and spending time with my family and fiance.
I sincerely thank you for continuing to watch me and favorite/comment on my work. You should also know that I still watch over all my favorite artists and my close friends located on this site.

I've been checking FA silently, but I haven't been too active lately. A few things happened recently, and things were out of balance for a while.

I broke up with my boyfriend of five years, finally. He tried very hard to get me back, but after the seventh hand-out I've given him, I decided I was done with him. It wasn't long after that that someone else asked me out. Very much aware that things were slightly rushed, I went ahead with it anyway.
And I don't regret it at all.
Talking and being with him has made me the happiest person in the world. I feel like now that I'm with him, I know what love is. I don't know if it was just the bitter ending of my last relationship, or the many differences and staining hardships my ex and I went through, but I feel so much closer to James than I ever was with my ex. He is literally the male version of me. Pretty fricken' sweet deal, if you ask me.

I went to visit him for the first time at the beginning of the month, and ohmydearjesuslord. He is so...so...asdfjkl;'. He's such a fox.
But I also lost my job. One door closes, andanotheroneopens, yes, I know. I intend to job search once my sister goes back home this coming weekend, but I'm a little afraid. I had very little luck job searching last time..

Ah, but aside from that..
I have the biggest art block. I haven't been able to draw anything good in about a month and a half, so I've just been trying to color and finish some of my other, older stuff. Things are going so slow in my art world, and I'm not sure why. It's kinda bummin' me out.

Personal update: Things have been weird lately. My boyfriend and I have been fighting nonstop, and I just don't feel like I can talk to him anymore about how I feel or what goes on in my head. We disagree ALL the time. I'm thinking we're finally at the end of the road. Don't worry, there's no need to apologize or feel bad for me; it's been a long time coming. He's made mistakes he'll have to live with, and I've tried getting over them, but sometimes it's just hard to overlook it. Really hard.
I want to be there for him, and I do love him. So very much. But when you argue about your future all the time, you can't agree on anything, plans fall through constantly, and you can't talk to each other about the way you feel, is it really even a relationship anymore? Some of you say yes, but I've been on and off with this person on at least five different occasion, and each time, a piece of my love for him turns to stone and falls off.
Not to mention I sometimes fear for my health. He has a very bad temper, and sometimes when he's angry, he literally rages. Sometimes I thank god that I'm not physically with him all the time, especially when he's mad. The back of my mind tells me that he has the capacity to harm me.
When it comes down to it, he's made me a better person, but he's also made me a very bitter one. And I don't know what else to do.

Also, I've been trying to be more family oriented. I spend a lot of time on the internet, and now even more because my work IS on the internet. So I'm trying to participate more around my household and social gatherings. Hanging out with my friends, because I don't see them either, due to work and school on all of our part. I miss them like crazy, and sometimes I wonder if my boost in art output is due in part to the fact that I don't do much else.

I'm trying. I'm trying to keep a level head. I think the universe is testing my mettle right now. I've got to concentrate on work while trying to balance my social life; two extremes that have always been kind've...hard for me. And then I've actually got two men that I've been communicating with recently that have taken a potential interest in me, and I can't help but reciprocate because I've never had this kind of thing happen to me before.
Trust me, though. I'm not diving into ANYTHING. I need to clear up some things.
