Hey y'all!

I'm approaching DONE with my suit! All I need to do is make more hair wefts for bangs and braids, as well as replace the eyes. Super bummed that the acrylic eyes crazed and cracked, and I was unable to sand 'em down. I ordered new eyes but hoo boy I am kicking myself for using harsh chemical scratch remover on it - pretty certain it caused the cracks >.<

Side note, on my downtime at work I've been typing up a build guide for my costume~! It's one part advice, one part tutorial, and three parts don't-make-my-mistakes. I tried to track each step of the process with pics so I'm trying to upload them over time.

If anyone wants to take a look at it, I have it saved in a Google Doc though it's still a WIP.

I'm loving running my sewing machine again to get this fursuit sewn but *oh my goodness* there is faux fur everywhere. It's all over our couch, bae's mtg cards, the carpeting, my shirt, my mouth, like

College has now become a little bit more comforting. It's been an uphill battle to get here, with making friends, doing the studies, bluh bluh. Not much in terms of school pride, though. Oh, and HOOK 'EM. That is all.

I guess reaching that point has let me put the furry fandom to the side for just a bit. Kind of like going from one comfort zone to the next. First to furries, then to friends, then to these new college bros. Just whoever has the best pathos :3 Then again, a dear family member recently passed away, shaking up any degree of comfort, Back to ol' reliable comfort of fur and claw, methinks.

But this time I GOTS A SCANNER YO. I CAN SCAN DESE HERE SCRIBBLIES AND ALL SHALL BE WELL.
But I better learn how to draw bovines and longhorns XD

I recently came back from freshamn orientation at the University of Texas.
It was a good chance to get the lay of the land, learn about classes and majors and stuff, get acclimated with the school, as well as meet new people and potential friends.

After a long (LONG) hiatus, I believe it is safe to say that I'm back. Things were getting tough in school and, well, everything else in life, which really pushed me back from drawing and being active in the fandom. Senior year's been bumpy but uneventful enough to allow the creative juices to be flowing a bit more freely.

With that said, I look forward to uploading newer and better stuff (not just pictures of my dog X3) because, you know, s'what I do. Yeah :D

So, yeah. I'm currently working on fursona Kathe's fur pattern. I'm a bit bothered by it ('cuz it's so aged? somewhat...) since everytime I see it it just... I dunno, when I first did the pattern it seemed different, now it seems doofus and old.

So, yeah.

Well, sorta.

This Christmas break will -hopefully- clear out some built-up stress, clear my mind for thought (since it was previously lacking) and therefore should be the perfect recipe for more freetime for artworks. Whoo-hoo!

Ah, plus marching season/exams/horrific and torturous essays/general first semester is gone! If it wasn't for standardized testing + solo and ensamble, this second semester should be smooth sailing. Heehee.

Imma upload another doodle, but for now, Merry Xmas and 'Appy New Year!

I moved to FA from DA because I started getting lazy when commenting and responding to others. Also known as the "Meh Disorder". And DA was full of disrespectful SOBs and money thirsty SOBs.
