First, select your ten fictional characters (from any medium) by whichever method you like best. Then answer the questions below.

1. Divide the list up by even and odd. Which group of five would make a better Five Man Band (like a Power Rangers team)? Who would you slot in each position: Leader, Lancer (second-in-command), Big Guy, Smart Guy, The Chick? If you think the team would be improved by swapping one character between the even and odd groups, which ones would you switch?
Heh. Power rangers. Well Team one would be: Toby, Jillian, Tiva, Jed, and Rodney. Team two would be Zuberi, Fyre, Morgan, Sig, and Audrey. Assigning roles, I'd say:
Team One
Leader: Jillian
Lancer: Rodney
Big Guy: Jed
Smart Guy: Tiva
The Chick: Toby (lol)
Team Two
Leader: Zuberi
Lancer: Audrey
Big Guy: Fyre
Smart Guy: Sig
The Chick: Morgan
My characters SO do not fit into these nicely haha. Jed isn't really a big guy, but he likes doing manly stuff so he works; Rodney isn't really trustworthy but he's smart enough to be a lancer. Morgan really does not fit into the chick role either, but I suppose she's helpless enough that she works x3 As far as power goes they're both fairly equal, One has better leader and smarts but their "man-power" (literally speaking) is useless; Two is quite a bit more discombobulated so I'd give the advantage to one. If you swapped Jed for Fyre then I think team One would definitely be good to go, maybe find a spot for Tiva as a lancer too. I don't have enough smart characters apparently x3
2. Gender-swap 2, 8 & 10. Which character would have the most change in their story arc? Which the least? Would any of these characters have to have a complete personality change to be believable as the opposite sex?
Zuberi would probably have the most change, as a lot of his insecurities and drive come from the fact he can't do "guy things;" I imagine if he were female he'd be a lot more comfortable with being what he is (as hyenas are female-dominant) and probably wouldn't be quite as aggressive. Still be a raging douchebag though x3
Sig would change slightly but not too much; his persona is basically developed off slipping through the cracks and being coddled as a kid, I imagine that would stay the same whether he was male or female. Might be a little less pervy though, use his charisma more than his sleaziness.
Audrey would really not change much; she has already shouldered the responsibility of being the man of the house and is openly bisexual so. A lack of Paige is really all I can think of, since Paige is a raging lesbo. Would not want a man-kitty.
3. Compare the matchups of 1 & 8 and 5 & 9. (Ignore canon sexual preferences for the moment.) Which couple would be more compatible? Which couple would be more plausible to people from either principal's home culture?
Toby and Sig… or Tiva and Rodney. Hm. You know those actually aren't terribly out of character. Sig is a lot like Bojan so I imagine if he and Toby were dating, the relationship would be quite similar to his current one - aka unstable and unhealthy x3 Sig is a bit more… hm I don't know how to phrase it, aware? He's more calculated about what he does, plans ahead, comes up with elaborate schemes to wring people dry of anything he wants from them. But he's also significantly smarter, so… don't know how far that would go, tbh.
Tiva and Rodney might actually work somewhat; Tiva is quiet and rather cold but very intelligent. Rodney is outgoing and entertaining, even if he is a bit of a chronic liar. If they played their cards right, they might be able to forge something of a bond, but probably nothing more than a quick fling; Rodney sort of lives with his head in the clouds, Tiva's rather fiercely rooted in what she perceives to be real life. She'd get sick of him.
Going by more plausible though, Tiva and Rodney. I could see them hooking up for a night or two. Toby and Sig… not so much x3
4. Your team is 3, 4 & 9. The mission consists of a social challenge, a mental challenge and a physical challenge. Which team member do you assign to each challenge?
Jillian, Fyre, and Rodney. Rodney could do the social challenge easy; he's an extrovert at heart and can charm a cobra without breaking a sweat; in a metaphorical sense anyway. Knows how to work with people and win them over. Fyre could do physical stuff, she's a little old but a big female hyena is someone you sure as hell don't want to arm wrestle with, and she's very quiet about any pain too. Jillian would do the mental challenge then, out of the three of them she has the most book-knowledge… though how she'd actually fare I have no idea x3
5. 7 becomes 1's boss for a week in some plausible fashion. How's their working relationship?
Jed becomes Toby's boss. Toby works in a library, Jed is probably illiterate but ok I'll play along x3 Don't imagine much would happen, Jed would probably annoy Toby being the herpderp that he is but Toby's too quiet and respectful to act on it. He'd be glad when the week's over though, Jed would probably gross him out. Nasty stinky hillbilly yore.
6. 2 finds him/her/itself inserted into 6's continuity. As far as anyone other than 2 or 6 is concerned, they've always been there. What role would 2 be presumed to have had in 6's story, and could they fit in without going wonky?
Zuberi doing hit-and-runs with an anthro horse, hm x3 He'd be a lot different in Morgan's environment - she was bounced around through foster homes, is a bit of a manic depressive, not really liked by anyone but too happy to care. Zuberi would probably have to be full werehyena most of the time, and given how much he hates that… yeah no, wouldn't work.
7. 3 and 5 get three wishes. The catch is that they have to agree on all three wishes before they get the benefits of any of them. What three wishes would they make?
Jillian and Tiva. Haha, see that could actually work. They both really like weapons so… swords, knives, and guns plzkthx.
8. 1 and 2 are brainwashed by a one-time artifact that works even on people immune to mind control to attack and kill 4. They keep their normal personality, skills and competence level, except any Code vs. Killing has been turned off. Can 4 survive? How?
Toby and Zuberi trying to kill Fyre. Huh. Well Fyre is a really tough old fucker, she could beat Toby with a fingernail. Zuberi might be more of a problem though, considering his Werehyena is about 9 feet tall and like 400 pounds so. Yeah he'd probably be able to do it. As far as if he would, dunno. He's normally got a pretty strict code, but since that's turned off it would depend on if Fyre managed to really piss him off or not.
9. 6, 7, 9 & 10 must help an orphanage full of small and depressed children have a merry Christmas. Who does what, knowing that at the very least the kids will be expecting a visit from Santa?
Morgan, Jed, Rodney, and Audrey. Well those are all my nice characters x3 Audrey would donate stuff, Jed would want to be Santa, he loves kids, Rodney would throw a Christmas party, Morgan could… idk she could be a reindeer or something x3 Those numbers were lucky, I'm lol'ing imagining if Sig or Jillian was picked. HEY KIDS WANT SOME HEROIN.
10. 3 and 8 are challenged to circumnavigate the Earth in eighty days or less, using only forms of transportation invented before 1900. Can they do it, or will they be fatally distracted by sidequests or their own personality conflicts?
Jillian and Seg? Hell no, they'd kill each other before they'd moved a mile x3

Posted 14 years agoYes I am unoriginal and cannot think for myself so I'm taking another page out of Avy's journal book. Actually I used to do these a lot on DA until someone told me it was self-indulgent so I stopped. But then I realize yes it is, and I'm totes fine with indulging myself every once in a while.
Plus I like... know no one here, except for those who have noted me or who I know from DA. I'd like to make some friendzles here too.

LAYER ONE : THE OUTSIDE
- Name: Hannah (and you better spell it right goddammit Hanna pisses me off)
- Eye Color: Hazel
- Hair Style/Color: It's naturally curly but not in the frizzy way, so I just have it grown out to shoulder blades and normally have it loose or in a ponytail. I'm excessively lazy with it. As for color it's just... brown. Nothing special. Like a medium-dark, straight up brown.
- Height: 5' 6"
- Clothing style: Whatever's on the top in my drawers basically... I'm really completely deficient when it comes to fashion. Normally just a graphic tee, jeans, maybe a hoodie. I like wearing flannel too even if supposedly it does make me look like a lesbian. It's comfy dammit.
- Best physical feature: I'm really, really not pretty. I'm not saying that to be all QQ, it's just true, proportions wise. Cheeks are fat, I have no chin, got a big Jew nose. I suppose if I had to pick something I like my eye color. It's hazel so normally it looks sort of khaki-green, but in sunlight it gets almost goldish. Cat eyes rawr.
LAYER TWO: THE INSIDE
- Your fears: Tall edges, not necessarily heights but just the possibility to fall off them (I'm perfectly fine on a plane, but when I went to the Grand Canyon I practically had a seizure). Also blood tests, and anything related to the circulatory system, especially veins or the sound of a heart beating. I can't tel you why but I absolutely cannot stand it. Especially veins. Can't even look at my own wrists. Being super pale does not help.
- Your guilty pleasure: I like taxidermy stuff, not sure if you'd consider that guilty but a lot of people disapprove, so. Whatever, I love it.
- Your biggest pet peeve: Ah I have a few... people who think/try to be edgy, I can't stand that. People who refuse to help themselves. People who think wild animals are super cool pets. Also when technology doesn't work, I go ballistic. I think I inherited that from my father.
- Your ambitions for the future: I'd love to be a modeler or character designer or animator, really anything in this industry. Working at Blizzard is kind of my dream job. I'm also planning on moving to California after college and getting a place with Avy, as Cali is the animation hub of the country and well. Because yena.
LAYER THREE: THOUGHTS
- Your first thoughts waking up: ... nothing x3 I'm very, very unclear when I wake up. Takes me a minute to snap into things.
- What you think about most: OH GOD PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT ME RUN AWAY RUN AWAY.
- What you think about before bed: Normally my brain goes to some random non-consequential thing and worries about it. For example, last night it was freaking out because 2 weeks at a restaurant I ordered food and didn't finish it. wat.
- You think your best quality is: I don't... really know honestly. I tend to focus on negative aspects of myself, so I can counter everything that's brought up :/
LAYER FOUR: WHAT'S BETTER?
- Single or group dates: I dunno. Group or double seems fun if you don't know your partner too well, one-on-one would get awkward fast I imagine. Though I'm a derp.
- To be loved or respected: I think if you love someone you kind of have to respect them so... in either case why on earth would you choose love without respect? That's silly.
- Beauty or brains: I prefer someone I can talk to about things rather than someone I can stare out. Though prettiness is always nice.
- Dogs or cats: Kitties of course :3
LAYER FIVE: DO YOU?
- Lie: Everyone does x3 I don't do it often or to good friends, but I will lie if needed, yes. Skipped class a few days ago cause I was just dog-tired, told my teacher I had allergy problems. That stuff.
- Believe in yourself: In some things. Do I think I can finish all my classes with As and graduate with a 4.0 GPA? No. Can I eat this entire cheesecake at once hell yes I can.
- Believe in love: Of course. I don't believe in sou mates but I sure believe in love.
- Want someone: There are quite a few people I know who I wouldn't say no to if asked, yes. However I do have standards. I'd rather be alone than with someone I didn't like.
LAYER SIX: EVER?
- Been on stage: Few times in middle school and such. In high school I was always the one running the tech, I prefer to be backstage.
- Done drugs: I have not. Not gonna lie though, I was thoroughly amused the few times I had anesthesia. I find it very interesting, in an "lol that's cool" way. Not that I'd seek it out x3 The nurse repeatedly jamming a bunch of long needles under my wrist so I could see them through the skin, that's enough for me kthx.
- Changed who you were to fit in: No. I detest it.
LAYER SEVEN: FAVORITES
- Favorite color: Russet.
- Favorite animal: Cheetah. datanatomy.

LAYER EIGHT: AGE

- Does age matter: It depends. I think a marriage where there's like a 25 year difference is pretty weird, yes, and I think you'd have to be crazy to have children under 20 or over 40. But when it comes to mental or intellectual stuff I don't think you're ever too old to learn things.
LAYER NINE: IN A BOY OR GIRL
- Best personality: Laid-back, smart, sense of humor, supportive. Generic nice things.
- Best eye color: I think brown eyes are really pretty.
- Best hair color: Not really a preference there. Blonde is cool. Blonde with brown eyes = #winning

All commission types will have a base deposit that must be received in order to begin work. Once that has been received, commissions are priced based on a $20/hour guide (rounded up to the nearest 15-minutes). When working on a commission, a stopwatch is kept on to record exact time, and those times are logged to keep track. This includes time doing the commission, and time spent doing any requested revisions. When your commission is completed, your total time will be tallied up and converted into a dollar price. The price of your deposit will be subtracted from the total, and you will pay the remainder.
(For example: You order a colored, shaded picture with a simple background. Your deposit is $30. Total time spent working ends up being 4 hours - $80. You pay the remaining $50, and then the completed picture is given to you.)
If you have a specific set limit on how much you would like to spend, let me know in advance what your maximum is - for example if you tell me you want to spend $40 on a commission, I'll let you know what i think I'd be able to get done for you in that allotted 2 hours. It is imperative you let me know up front if you want to set a limit on price/time, or if you want to have me work until I feel it is complete - I am fine with working within a set limit, but keep in mind that if that is the case, it will place limits on how much I can do. Backgrounds vary greatly in price depending on complexity - anywhere from 1 - 6 hours. If you request a hard cap on your price limit, be aware that complex backgrounds will take up a large percentage of that.

I only take payments via Paypal in USD - no mailed cash or checks, no trades, no gift cards or credit. This is non-negotiable.
I cannot do payment plans. If you know you have a limit on how much you want to spend, let me know up front so I can work within your budget. If you give me free reign to do as much as I want with an image and then say you cannot pay for all of it, you will not be allowed to receive your image until payment has been received in full.
My prices are non-negotiable. Please do not haggle, I will not work with you. Additionally, I do not accept payments from 3rd-party accounts - you must pay me with your personal PayPal account, not someone else's or a shared one. I will send you an invoice for commission payments - do NOT send me money first, and especially do not send it as a "gift." Gifting me money puts my Paypal account in bad standing and risks being fined.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
All payment made on commissions, including the initial deposit and payment for hours worked, is non-refundable. I will do frequent check-ins to make sure the image is to your liking, so I cannot refund you for work I've already put in that you've approved.
If you need to back out of a commission, please tell me as soon as possible so I know to halt work on your order. I am happy to put your image in 'storage' for if you'd like to re-order the commission at a later time, but I will require payment for whatever work I have already done (for example if I have done 3 hours worth of work on an 8 hour commission, I still need payment for those 3 hours).
If you need to cancel a commission, please send me a FA note as soon as possible. I do not check my e-mail frequently and notes are faster to get a hold of me.
As the artist, I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason, at any time - including while the commission is in progress. If the commission is in progress and I no longer wish to continue working on it with you, I will refund you in full, regardless of completion level. If you refuse a refund after I state I wish to drop the commission, I will consider your payment a donation to me.

TIMING:
While I can't guarantee that I will get your commission done lightning-fast, I will try my best to get your order to you in a timely manner. Please note that depending on the type of art you order, your waiting time will increase/decrease - for example, a simple sketch will take much less time than a colored image with a detailed background. Due to the unpredictabilities of life, commissions may take upwards of 2-3 months; if they go longer than that I am usually able to offer discounts as compensation. However I try to keep to a turnaround time of under one month.
You will get as many WIPs of the picture as you feel is necessary Typically I give one for rough sketches (to choose a pose/composition you like), one for the cleaned sketch (to ensure the character is drawn to your liking), and then the end image which you can tweak to your liking, if needed. You may request more (or less) frequent WIPs, however keep in mind that the more you request/send back, the longer the process takes. One quick generic question as an introduction: What name does your character go by most often?
The first one. That is, Audrey. She does like her last name, but it's a syllable too long to use as a main call. So she's almost always just referred to as Audrey. Doesn't really have any particular nicknames either, since her name doesn't really lend itself to such… unless it's something like Aud. Audi lol. Yeah but Audrey.
Which is more common for your character: giving or receiving help?
Giving. Like most cats, Audrey has a very bold independent street and almost always prefers to figure things out solo (though she's not so stubborn she'll snub any help if she desperately needs it. She just won't like it). While she won't necessarily stop her whole day to help a complete stranger, she does have a strong sense of morals and commonly helps others if the opportunity presents itself accordingly.
In crowds, does your character tend to gain energy or expend energy?
I'd say gain. She's not a very hey-look-at-me character; rather the opposite, she'd much rather chill on a ledge somewhere and observe the atmosphere than be in the throng of it and be the center of attention herself. Another very feline trait, a watcher rather than an instigator.
What's your character's IQ?
Fff I don't even know mine. What is average, like 110? That sounds vaguely familiar. Whatever average is. Maybe very slightly above, if only for her problem solving skills (keen observation comes in handy). But she's not very good at critical thinking like math or reading analysis. Just more practical, hands-on things.
Which of the seven deadly sins is most prevalent in your character's personality? (Lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, or pride?)
Oho that's an interesting question. Hmm. I'd say sloth, but I'm not sure if that's really very prevalent since being mellow and laid-back are generally non-intrusive personality traits. I guess if I had to pick I'd say… probably envy. She can be very overly clingy with close friends or family members; not in the let-me-lay-all-over-you way but the no-stay-with-me-whenever-i-ask way. Likes to be the apple of their eye, even if she doesn't return the favor. But again it's a fairly minor vice, she's not a particularly sinful character as a whole. Just gets bugged when, on the times she does ask for attention, she doesn't get it - can get pretty sulky about it really.
Conversely, which of the seven holy virtues most applies to your character? ([Listed as opposites to above] Chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patience, kindness, or humility?)
Lol not chastity… probably a toss-up between patience and diligence, which are really almost the same thing. She can get very narrow-minded when presented with a challenge of any sorts, whether it's a brain-teaser puzzle or an actual person she can't figure out. Very shrewd mind, and she'll observe and pick things apart until she's satisfied with the answer. Ah that age-old feline curiosity. Plus she's also as a person naturally patient, and it takes a really low blow to get her angry - though even then she's more likely to go burn off steam by herself than take it out on someone.
How does your character see himself—is he down on himself, content, or a braggart?
Content, I'd say, though really all three could apply to any aspect of the self. Probably lower on the spectrum of content; she can accept who she is just fine but that doesn't mean she always wants to be that way, necessarily. Though I think we can all relate to that.
How does your character perceive his surroundings? What's the first thing he notices when he walks into an unfamiliar room?
Audrey is generally attracted by motion (a cat thing, again) so the activity level of wherever she's going is one of the first thing she tends to look for, albeit subconsciously. The more people are moving and shouting, the more there is to watch - similarly a very quiet, calm atmosphere means she can take a little more liberties, goof off some with whoever she's with (if any). Also wealth. She really likes luxury things (you know those shows on MTV all about fancy houses and cars? Yeah those. She drinks those up) so she has a keen eye for that, if only for her own curiosity and imagination.
The eternal question: neatness or organized chaos?
Neatness I believe. She's not a super strict clean freak but she also has her hygiene standards and she sticks to them. She'd rather have a sterile environment she could do her own thing in than chaos everywhere. Though to be honest, she's athletic enough that she'd probably physically thrive in it. But mentally she just wants nice and clean kthx.
How much time/thought does your character invest in his personal appearance (this includes posture, mental preparation for a specific event or meeting, etc.)?
Not a lot, really. She normally just throws her hair in a ponytail and calls it a day as far as personal stuff goes - the prim and proper hairdo and make-up stuff isn't really her scene. The only time she really needs to take a lot of time to mentally prepare is anything to do with public speaking; she's lived in the states long enough that she speaks pretty much fluent English with only a very faint accent of her native tongue (Spanish). But to her, she speaks horribly and is very self-conscious about it, even if she sounds fine to others. It's a bit paranoid, really.
Does your character believe in the afterlife? If so, what does he see as qualifications to move on to a peaceful afterlife/the extent of sin to have a less than peaceful afterlife? If not, why doesn't he like the idea of an afterlife, peaceful or otherwise?
Yes; she was raised Catholic and even if she doesn't go to church every Sunday she still believes in a higher power and Heaven and Hell. She definitely does believe in karma of sorts, that doing good and helping will lead to peace and heaven and whatnots. It's one of the reasons she admires wealth so much as well, since to her that's basically Heaven, right there. It's a very strong drive that keeps her honest and generally kind and helpful towards others, even if her mind does very much want to be apathetic sometimes.
About how much patience does your character have for mundane yet important tasks? If he is interested in an activity, how long will it take for him to tire of it?
Just as much as necessary. Like I mentioned before Audrey has a very practical-problem-solving mind. Even something simple like doing laundry or buying groceries isn't necessarily boring to her if only for the satisfaction of having it done. If there's a challenge in the way, that's just more incentive to work at it. This, I should mention, only really applies to things she can get her hands on - mechanical or location problems, for instance. Stuff like taxes, video games, she has no patience for and grumbles about doing. Needs to be able to physically touch it for it to be interesting to her.
In closing, what does your character's name mean?
It's from a Latin root actually, for Autumn. The name to me seemed fitting since she has very warm, autumny colors in her design. There's not a terrible lot of meaning beyond that though. Audrey for looks, Ortega because I needed something spanish. Hurrdurr I clever.
