Unfortunately, it's been a few years since I've had the chance to pick up my camera, so some of the photos are not as great as I've done in the past. I'll get back there though!

Posted 6 years agoYes, I seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth for a few years (for those of you who don't have me on telegram). I'm sorry about that!
In the last few years, I finished my Paramedic degree, got a job and moved to NSW for said job. I've been spending the last year getting used to working shift work and settling into living in a new state.
I am now determined to get myself set back up.
I have quickly updated my DA page, FA page, twitter and Facebook, and intend to try and be more active.
My plan is to re-set myself up with my camera gear, attend more local events, and start spamming you all with photos again :D
I am also hoping to get a partial fursuit (and with my new job, its certainly a possibility) so I can join in the suiting fun!
Anyway, if you want to keep in touch, the best way is by telegram if you have it (if not, I'm in the NSW fur chats), or via facebook messages.
I don't think I'll have much to upload here for at least a couple of months, but I intend to upload what I can! :D

Just thought I'd take a second to say that I'm still alive!
Thanks to any and all new watchers (although not too much to watch at the moment xD)
Apologies about lack of content/etc, due to financial issues, lack of time (due to work + uni), and my hopeful plans on moving out in the next few months (thus requiring extra finances) has resulted in me not being able to attend any conventions this year :'(
If all goes to plan, I should be back attending conventions next year, and hopefully grabbing more photos and so on :3
Might also look at getting some commissions or something once I have a decent amount of money saved.
As for what I have been up to?
I've been (promoted?) made a supervisor at work about a month ago... more power >:D
I've paid off all the money I owed dad! Yay! I can start saving again!
I'm in my second semester of my first year of my Paramedic degree! I will be going on a 6 week placement over the new years period, which will mean that I will unfortunately not be able to attend confurgence this time D'x However, I will be back attending for the next CFG!
If all goes to plan, when I graduate in 2016, I will be working with my local ambulance service as an Advanced Care Paramedic :3
I've been making plans to move out of my parents place (as mentioned above), and thus need to deal with saving money, sorting out stuff, looking at who to move in with (cause moving in by yourself is WAAAAY too expensive), and so on...
That's pretty much it really xD Mainly work + uni + trying to save money.
If anyone wants to talk to me, and you have me on skype/facebook/phone, throw me a message! :3
I may not start too many conversations online, but if you say hi, chances are I will be more then happy to say hello back and chat for a bit ^_^
I'm on my computer/laptop for a fair bit of the day pretty much every day, and I have facebook messenger on my phone, so I tend to be fairly quick at responding most of the time (especially to facebook messages).
If you don't have me on skype/facebook/phone, and you want to chat, feel free to throw me a note on FA. I tend to check FA a couple of times a week at least. :3

I'm still alive!
Just thought I'd post an update on whats been happening.
For those of you in Brisbane, I haven't been able to get to any meets recently due to other things happening (study, work, etc), however I will hopefully be attending a meet shortly if work doesn't roster me on.
In other news, I have passed all my subjects and am eligible for graduation! Which means by December I will have a Bachelor in Information Technology! (specializing in web development) :D
I've also applied for a Paramedic degree for next year and am just waiting for the major offer round to come to see if I have gotten in.
Still in debt to dad a little, although not as much as before. Will hopefully have that all sorted by the end of the year.
Also need to purchase myself a couple of bits and pieces to get ready for ConFurgence 2014 January in Melbourne. Should be awesome fun! Hope to see as many people as possible there :)
Anyway... I'm slowly sorting myself out and slowly getting back to doing everything I was beforehand. :)

And just a brief reminder that my camera is currently broken, so I will NOT be uploading any photos from the event, as I won't have any. I will also not have my camera on me.
I may be using friends cameras at some point, but the photos will stay with them.
If you get hurt, I will have my (large) first aid kit at the con, and I'm sure the con staff will have their own first aid stuff, along with the hotel staff and whatever they have.

Another update! Uni, Cons, and more

Just a quick update on what I've been up to...
Well, I got an admin position on Fur Affinity... and... well... DRAMA! xD
But anyway! That's going alright, most people are being pretty reasonable :)
Have been working on paperwork and documents for ConFurgence (formerly MiDFur), yes, its not until January 2014, but I wanna get as much done ASAP, that way we have more time later to work on other things or to refine things...
It is gonna be a damn fun convention! Make sure you come if you can!
Am hopefully going to make it to both FurDU and RivFur, however, that depends on funds, as I need to save for what I have planned, which I'll cover shortly...
I also need to grab myself a couple more CF cards for my camera, both my cards got misplaced in Melbourne when I was down there for MiDFur :( - But oh well, these things happen... only a couple of hundred dollars for new cards xD
And the big thing I'm saving for...
As some of you know, I currently volunteer with St John Ambulance as a First Aider (soon to be First Responder)... I've always liked helping people, and I quite enjoy the work with St John... so...

Update on what I've been up to

Recently attended the last MiDFur convention on earth - the furry apocalypse cometh.
And it was and is the last MiDFur, since the convention is moving to January under a new name! For now we call it NewCon. I was head of photography, as well as one of the first aid staff.
It was great fun, although I don't currently have any of my photos from the event (left my HDD in Melbourne Dx)
Anyway, I've recently battled through work at Coles (supermarket) during the Christmas and New Years trading periods (utter chaos >.>) - oh, and on that, a late merry christmas & happy new years to everyone.
I am looking at purchasing a couple of Adobe products, including photoshop, after effects, and premiere pro...
So might start doing a little more artwork as well as maybe looking at touching up my photos a little more (none of my photos are currently edited [with the exception of the odd brightness adjust here and there]). Though I still prefer to keep my photos as unedited as possible.
I am also hoping to start poking into video editing...
although I have no hope of matching up to the likes of people such as
BBF, 
Kidsune and the various other awesome furs out there who are -awesome- at editing their videos... Although I can try xD
Lack of video content is another minor issue... but anyway... =P
I will hopefully be attending both RivFur and FurDU, however that depends on funds and free time...
Anywho, I think thats everything for now...

I get into Melbourne way early, on the 19th of November.

Since I am a board member, head of the photography team, assisting the video team, and a first aider, I will be somewhere in the convention space running around crazily trying to make sure everything that I needa do gets done...
tldr; trying to be in 10 places at once for most of the time
Where will you be most of the time during the nights?
Either asleep, running around at the dances, or maybe at the odd room party if I am free
Who will you be hanging out with?
As many people as I can! Will be spending the time to catch up with friends, and meet new people.
Who are you hoping to meet?
The guests of honor, as well as anyone at the convention that I can.

What time do you get up/go to bed?
I get up when I wake up, and I go to bed whenever I make it there =P

MiDFur ( http://www.midfur.com.au ) in Melbourne, Victoria, runs for a whole FIVE days and is on from Tuesday 4th December until Saturday 8th December.
If you're able to make it, I hope to see ya there!
I'll be pretty easy to spot, I'm heading the photography team as well as assisting the first aid and video teams and will be running around a lot with camera(s) and probably my first aid kit.
Anyway, hopefully I shall have more interesting (or not so) stuff to upload shortly =)
And just a reminder, I only post a handful of photos from an event on DA/FA. Rivfur 2012 and FD update
Posted 13 years agoRivfur 2012 has just finished, thanks to all who helped make it an awesome weekend!
Photos for the first two days have been uploaded, pretty much no post editing has been done since I just figured I'd throw the photos up now due to potential time restraints. I may go back later and edit some of the images.

Had an awesome time!

MiDFur the 13th!

MiDFur was awesome!
As a few of you know, and many of you probably don't... MiDFur the 13th was my first furcon.
I attended as a Supersponsor and a Volunteer in the Media Team, if you attended MiDFur, you probably would have seen me running around with my Camera (a Canon 7D DSLR).
It was great fun, and I am planning on being back at MiDFur the 14th as a supersponsor (if there are any left when I get the cash), and as a volunteer again. This is, of course, provided that I can get a hotel room/crash space xD...
but anyway...
I had a great time, met up with carnival and kraden in person (finally! xD) and met a ton of furs, including 
burkealot, 
Serenco, Cynwolfe, Kailani, 
paskhowl, 
loganhusky, Kyle, and a ton of others! (apologies if I didn't mention you, met so many people, impossible to list you all xD)
I also had the opportunity to meet and have a few good chats to BigBlueFox,
tanidareal, 
nachtfuchs, Jibba Foxcoon and 2 Gryphon
I am uploading my photos to my Flickr account, I took almost 4000 photos but at this stage am only uploading about 300-400. I will probably upload more as I go back through them and pick good ones, but until then...

Apologies for any slightly out of focus etc shots... I found out exactly how finicky my camera is at focusing in low light, exactly how grainy things are on high ISO, and how damn narrow the Depth of Field is at f/3.5... Hopefully the extra things I learnt about my camera while using it at the con will help with future conventions =3

I am hoping to meet TaniDaReal and BigBlueFox... Also hoping to meet Carnival and Kraden... Also going to try and meet as many people as possible :3
What time do you get up/go to bed?
Umm... I go to sleep whenever I feel tired or want to (usually by midnight), and I get up whenever I wake up.
What's the best way to get a hold of you?
Umm.... no idea... if you have my phone number, that. otherwise, no idea.
Will only have my camera (EOS 7D) and my conbadge and a set of tanis mood badges on me for most of the con. So I guess you'll just have to find me...
Do you do free art?
Umm... I can, but I can't draw very well atm IMO xD so probably not.
Are you selling anything at MiDFur?
nah not selling anything.
What do you look like?
