Act of Valor
Posted 13 years agoI went to go see Act of Valor tonight. It was absolutely awesome! But I have to say, if you go see it wait till the end because they run the name of Special Ops Operators that died in action after 9/11. Please show respect and stay after. My buddy and I were really disappointed to see 3 people get up and leave. One was an Army Corporal... very disappointed with him especially.

Posted 14 years agoI believe that we as Americans, those that bared witness to the events of September 11th, 2001, have a duty to remember and teach those that were to young to know this day that hate is what caused 3,000 innocent people to lose their lives. Today is a day that we remember... that hero's don't wear capes.
EPIC DAY!
Posted 14 years agoToday was AWESOME! Not only did I get to go to the sportsman show and see a bunch of cool new stuff but I got to interview Troy Landry from Swamp People, talk to Blake Miguez from Top Shot and sold him a Glock mag, and just had beers with Glenn Flemming from Sons of Guns at a local bar.

Hangover 2
Posted 14 years agoHangover 2 was awesome. It does follow the same basic outline as the last one but the jokes are better and more crude. If you liked Hangover 1 go see part 2.
Anyone got a Glock?
Posted 14 years agoI have a Glock 9mm magazine for sale. it's high capacity. I can't ship anywhere where it's illegal
"And I hope you respect my right to tell you to..."
Posted 14 years agoIncase you don't know the back story. After Osama was killed an LSU Student took down, stole, and burned an American flag as well as caused destruction to the LSU war memorial. After a few days he was finally caught and charged with Arson, Simple Criminal Destruction of property, resisting arrest, and posession of drug paraphernalia. Well to show support for the student arrested some people decided to burn a flag on LSU's campus. Well that didn't quite work out when around 2,000 Students showed up to stop them from setting fire to the American Flag. This clip is of someone I know personally, went to high school with, and is a former Marine Sergent. He sums it up well.

Louisiana Ghostbusters Chairty
Posted 14 years agoCheck this out. It's a video shot my a local charity group called Louisiana Ghostbusters. Not only are they hardcore Ghostbuster Fans but they used that to benefit charities. Well some dad found out about this and had a problem... his daughter was convinced there was a ghost in her closet and wouldn't sleep in her bed, what else could he do but call the Ghostbusters.

Happpy New Year... for now
Posted 14 years agoSo Happy New year to one and all...apparently except for me. Tuesday I got word that although I had been busting my ass for 9 month's and change that I would be passed over because I am more expensive to replace than the other guy who does not have near the experience that I have... I've been brooding over this the past few days. I was never offered anything or asked to take a pay cut for the job or anything... Monday me and the GM are having a sit down.
Good X-mas, bad everything else
Posted 14 years agoChristmas was fun as always but weird.
But during the course of Christmas here's my bad luck.
-Driving from my dad's house Christmas Eve my check engine light comes on. So it's in the shop waiting to see what's up
-Then I get sick and could barely eat Christmas dinner. Which sucks cause it was AWESOME!
-I went to the walk in clinic the day after Christmas and long story short my HSA debit card gets declined and it's a Sunday so I can't get anyone on the phone.
-I finally get my bike put together and the tire pump I bought is defective so I can't even ride my bike to work.
Such is life.

Think it's a publicity stunt? Think it's a sign he's in on Ghostbusters 3? Think he's doing it to start more rumors?

The good, The bad, The ugly
Posted 15 years agoThe good:
-The president repealed the moratorium on deep water drilling.
-They placed an injunction on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" banning the military from turning away openly gay people from serving
-The Chilean miners are soon to be taken out of the mine that collapsed.
-The Saints finally got rid of kicker John Carney
-FURRIES KICK ASS
The Bad:
-It took so freaking long for the president to realize that the moratorium was a bad idea and cost the gulf economy over 2 billion dollars and thousands of jobs.
-The U.S. Justice Department may challenge the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Injunction.
-The Saints should have gotten rid of Heartly too.
The Ugly:
-Obama's approval rating is 37% and his fellow dems keep turning him down when he asks if they want him to help raise funds for their campaigns. LOL
-It sucks that people just can't except the LGBT community... come on people it's 2010
-The last 2 Saints games had been downright ugly
