Well, sadly, the time for me to leave FF has come. I had fun, I hope everyone else liked the con, haha. Now I get 1,600 miles to remember it, and that much time to look forward to, and maybe plan for, RMFC and AC. x)

Also, I noticed that the different news organizations who stopped by portrayed this con in a pretty good light, which is cool. If anyone happened to see the CBS segment last night, it looks like they included me for a response, and a couple of angles. Check the mania out, I think the link has the video in it, lol:

Whew, I finally got to the hotel! What an adventure that was, haha. It started out pretty nice, with blue skies until nearly Wyoming, but then snowed badly all the way through Wyoming and Colorado (tons of people were sliding off the freeways). Kansas was bearable (aside from its boring flatness, no offense, haha), Oklahoma was too humid, and Texas had way too much traffic to force myself through (I was raised in Texas near Dallas, but seeing how many more cars there are nowadays made me a very sad lad). Like last AC and most of my trips, I did it in one shot. It was about 1,500 miles, so I was hoping for doing it in about 20 hours, but the snow screwed that up, I did a 32 hour job, gosh darn.

So, yup, that's how I got here, did any of you guys make it? If anyone did come and wants to meet up with me, just send me a note, and I can tell you my cell phone number for texties, lol.

I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of new furs on FA, since I first joined. We have either met irl throughout my travels or just stumbled upon one another online.

So I figured it be cool to make a MEME that would allow us to get to know each other better. If anything, I want to give anyone the opportunity to get to know me better and ask me any questions they might have if they like.

Woo hoo, I just got to the Westin, but a little while before I wanted to, about three hours before their 7:00 a.m. check-in time. All I want to do is unload my stuff and lie down on a bed, haha. Oh well, to burn some of that time, I'll create another journal while sitting on a couch on the second floor. x)

I tried (and was successful) in driving the 2,000 miles from Idaho Falls to Pittsburgh without sleeping, but boy, did that wear me out! I've driven on long drives before, but I was surprised how hard it was to go for 34 or 35 straight hours. I was *this* close to giving-in to my fatigue and sleeping in the car some random place, hehe.

With that fun stuff said, I hope I don't sleep-in too long today, I'd like to try to make the most of my stay while I'm 'round these parts. This is my first real convention, so I'll try to do as much as I can, hopefully convincing me to do it again in future years. :)
