Done with school, done with christmas parties, I am now ready to FINALLY start working on commissions again =) Considering the amount I got, I will now pick commissions randomly based on how much I think ill enjoy making it! Which means that Your commission might be done faster!

Second, I started University today! (yay!) However, this means I will have less time to work on my commissions (boo!) however, i am still working on them =) and hopefully, this means ill put more effort and will be able to create more "impressive" materials.

Honestly, I just wanted to get rid of the old journal entry that been there for several month. You have absolutly no reason to read this text because it is just random babling my fingers are writting.

So as Iwas saying, You have absolutly no reason, whatsoever, even if you are bored, to read this journal entry of mine. I can assure you, that it is a pure lost of time because this entry will lead no where, Will talk about nothing and will entertain none.

I have been accepted for the art certificate. which is the second class I applied for at the Uni. So now, I officially have 100% chances to have intensive art classes next semester at the university

Im currently waiting for my other letter which will determine if I can have a BACC (it is more prestigious).

Thats how much time I have left to finish my art portfolio. Im a bit late I must admit, but I think that if I work hard I should be able to put everything together in time. Worse case, me has a lot of drawings to show from my art class and stuff =3

After that, only thing left for me to do will be wait.. and hope that they'll take me into art class so that I can finally fullfill one of my dreams!.. else... me shall still go into art class anyway! >=3

Theres basically 2 choices offered to me, one is a "bac" which is what I want and is more prestigious. Or a "diploma" in art which is not as usefull.

If im not accepted, the studies for my diploma will at least introduce me to painting, sculpting... etc which will help me a LOT to build a better portfolio. The main problem being that my only art skill so far is drawing since I had no serious art class whatsoever.

Im using the same excuse, too much work from school and blabla bla =3 Im still drawing a lot though but puting much of my effort into my art class.

Which, I want to precise that, Im amazed at the progress ive made in it! Like, Kero before the class and after the class is 2 completly different things. Ive learned to shade quite well and my mother was surprised to notice that my level seem to be about the same as her's at my age. For people that doesnt know my mom, which means eveyrone here.. x3.. my mom had lot of art classes and used to paint a bit everyday at the time I was sleeping in her belly =3 AWww~

BUT This entry is NOT about this right now. As I said, Im busy with school, but to keep my page alive, heres the video project ive just finished today. We had to do a 40seconds video with words and try to do effects with them.

FINALLY. After all these hours of work, ive finished my most important project of the semester!

As I already said in a previous entry, this year im goign to work in a company, hopefully doing flash and animation stuffs =3

We had to do a portfolio representing what we wishes to do, hoping to attract the right company for us. Wellll.. it is finally completed!

... which ive been doing of course =3 But, right now I have so many school projects to do that I can barely manage to find the time to do my art class homerwork. I still sketch thingies everyday and stuff buuut, doing a full drawing, inking and coloring would take too much time, time that I might need to finish my school stuff in time.. =3

Id like to submit my art class drawing here but the following reason prevents me of doing so.

1. My drawing might not be the most fascinating stuff considering im simply picking up random objects and I kinda want to use more my gallery to submit characters and furry stuff =3

2. ..annnd the drawings are drawn on a big ass sheet of paper that doesnt even fit in the scanner x3

Just so You know, here are the stuff I need to do for the next 9 days.

-PHP exercise (its boring AND long TT_TT )
-Portfolio (Will be a website where I put all my stuffs ive made. Lots of animating and drawing to do, its long =3 )

... so kya.. =3 Lots of work to do, so little time to draw for fun TT_TT

Okayy. Lemme explain the title here. Im in my first art class (woohoo!) this semester at the Visual Art Center of Montreal. Last class, we learned how to do shadows, since ive been doing lineart most of the time and doing cartoonish sketches, I though I'd SUCK but really really SUCK at shading.

As a homework, we were told to draw 2 simple objects together and do the shading. Since im in this class to learn, and decided I wouldnt take it easy. I had the wonderfull idea to drawww.. yeeup, a flowerpot!

So here I go, draw the outlines of a flowerpot and now I start shading it. Well, good news, I can shade and for a 2nd or 3rd try in my entire life, or something like that, its really not too bad. Only problem, its lonnnnng o.o!

In my mind I was like "Well since I suck at shading, ill be able to experiment various technique on the different leafs and stuff =3 and since im not very experimented, I wont see much details so it wont be long!

Well here I am, it takes me 1H to shade the first leaf and 2More to shade the paper ribon (oh yeah, theres a ribbon too around that Evil FLowerpot..! cute ribbon but still Evil cute Ribbon).

So here's an advice feelow furrs =3 NEVER understimate yourselves <3 and dont draw Evil FlowerPots.

A friend of mine asked me recently what I had to do when I first started to draw and what He should do/get/read to get started as well. I'm always happy to answer this question since when *I* first started to draw, I really had NO IDEA what I should do to improve and to make sure I was heading the right way. Here are my thoughs about it =3

If one really wants to learn how to draw, the first things this person need to equip himself with is, courage, determination, PATIENCE and be prepared to be disapointed often =3

I do not mean to discourage him right away, but telling him that learning how to draw will be a happy go lucky experience would certainly be a lie. Especially when you already admire so many incredible artists and you wish to impress them too someday.

The fact is, learning to become a good artist is a pain, requires many hours of work and can be a very depressing experience when you feel you have so many ideas in your head youd like to draw but, no matter how hard you try, You cant seem to make it look the way you see it mentally.
I would get nut when I kept and kept trying to draw something but would instead keep erasing and starting over again and again and again, never being able to make it look right.

Though, the truth is, after several years, when you'll look behind, all those effort, all those emotions that would make you feel like You were miles away from being any good, all those time You could have simply let the pencil down and give up but decided to keep trying, all of this will bring a great feeling of accomplishment and pride because you realise everything you've achieve and how strong mentally you really are for walking over those obstacles in your path.

They say no one should look behind in life, but I believe that, as a learning artist, looking behind is the best way to step forward more determined than ever!

I currently am in my last year in college, which means that next semester I will go in a company as an introduction to a real job in Multimedia. Thoughhh, I have to find a company myself that will accept to take me.

Today I learned that one of my teachers is looking for a student willing to do its formation in a company that animate cartoons for children in flash =3 Oooo lucky lucky me o.o Only problem, is that exept for my first submission here and another old flash animation I did, I dont have that many things to show off in flash =3

So, expect to see flash drawings coming up soon x3 I have work to do, and still many many homework to finish TT_TT whyyy...!!
