After months of nothing but pen and scraps of paper i now have a decent sketch book, pencils, and even some [not very good but still existent] markers!
Being a homeless artist is really not that fun, esp considering whatever art supplies you own you carry day and night.
I do not recommend sculptors take to the streets, j/s
My mate and I were legally married Dec 9th 2013 and are headed back to the warmer climate of Florida, this time to key west, and with luck will be there by early February.

She is a sweetheart, and takes her grandfather's appraoch to humanity. They are to be taught and cared for, and often slept with.

{F} Amira is a lebrix. She is fun when she gets going, and can be a bit of a show off when tipsy, but, unless she's had a few, overall she is a very quiet, and shy busty gal. She grew up the youngest of twelve offspring, never saw much of her parents, and became an avid bookworm. She is a librarian, and actually owns the library herself.

{F} KeenBeak is a gryphon. She is 18 years old, and she loves to have fun. Raised with no other nest mates, she was found after a severe windstorm, and raised from the shell by a dwarven family. They soon learned her beak was as fierce as her temper, and even though she was a part of the family, her dwarfen siblings hated her with a passion unheard of in dwarves. She stands eight feet at her shoulders, her wingspan is a good twelve feet, and she has ample double breasts. She walks on her paws, and is very clever with her claws.

{M/F}Chameleon is a shark horse. Shi has no gender, but can mate with either, and produce viable offspring. Shi is perfection, perfected. Shi can produce offspring of thier parent's EXACT breed/species, with inserting just enough replicated DNA to cause the offspring to be different from it's parent, but nothing like hirself. In order to create another sharkhorse, one must breed a shark horse with another shark horse. Any other mating will result in offspring of the other parent's genetic code. Shi is also perfect for housing genetic experiments similar to hirself. Shi can take any egg inserted with DNA from any mixture of creatures, and produce two viable, unrelated, genetically, offspring of opposite genders. The offspring will be both able to breed, and, more importantly, be able to breed with each other.
Chameleon is not mindless, in fact, shi nurtures each of the offspring shi produces until adulthood. Being both an aquatic and land being, shi is able to nurture anything shi is asked to produce. Shi is also capable of refusing to procreate. The one recorded instance of this happening, the scientists attempted to so so on their own, with disastrous results, which seems to indicate shi is capable of foreseeing if the offspring will be useful in any way possible.

She is scarily intelligent, and very VERY social. If you disobey her rules, she won't hesitate to take a chunk from you. She is the dominatrix, and for good reason, even males will often steer clear to avoid her wrath. Despite the fact that she is a female, she also has male reproductive organs, and she enjoys using them. They are not viable, and will produce no offspring, but pain and pleasure they bring a lot of. They were added at her request by a skilled doctor, who has since lost his life to her pleasurable claws.

By purchasing a Commission slot from me, you are agreeing to these terms. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they read these terms BEFORE purchasing a slot. Ignorance of these terms is not an acceptable reason to violate them.
-I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
-I reserve the right to cancel a Commission and refund the money to any Commissioner who is unnecessarily rude, unreasonable and/or impatient.
-I reserve the right to deny a Commission based upon its subject matter. If it is something I cannot draw, or something that is outside my comfort zone, I will refuse it.
-Refunds are not available, once you have paid I have started working, which means those precious pennies go to make sure I can continue to work on more art. Refunds will NOT be made for completed and/or posted works. If there is something wrong with your piece, I will gladly fix it.
-I will make any changes to a piece while it is in WIP stage or before it is finished. Major changes are preferably requested BEFORE I start. Major changes may incite additional fees, depending upon how far along the piece is, and how drastic the changes are.
-I determine the price of your Commission, not you.
-50% Payment must be made before work is started on a piece. You have unlimited time to pay your fees, BUT, the sooner you pay the higher on my list you will be and therefore the sooner yours will be done. You may NOT reserve spots unless I agree VIA NOTE to allow this to happen.
-Payments may be made in installments, but this is for $20 worth of art (or more) only. A 25% deposit will also need to be made to secure the spot. A dead line for full payment will be negotiated. Work will NOT be started on the piece(s) until 50% payment is received. It is the your responsibility to contact me if you cannot make the deadline for full payment, or it needs to be changed. Otherwise, if the deadline is missed, whatever has been paid will NOT be refunded and the slot will be opened.
-All Commissions will be posted to Furaffinity and other art websites I am active on, because it is MY art, I can post it wherever I please. I will be happy to omit names if requested.
-If I am commissioned a piece with characters that do not belong to the customer, I WILL ask for proof of permission for the customer to do so. I will NOT get involved with drama or spats that may arise if the other person is not happy with the fact that their character was used.
(Note: If you wish for a piece such as this to be a surprise, I WILL be doing my research. And I will NOT be held responsible if the response to it is negative.)
-You may remain anonymous when I post your piece, however it is your responsibility to let me know you wish to remain anonymous when you request the art.
-Please allow 30 business days (Meaning Weekends and Holidays do not count) upon the day you commission the art, for the work to be completed. If for some reason your piece is going to take an extended period of time, due to personal issues, technical issues, etc, I will notify you personally, and notify all commissioners of delays.
-Prices are non-negotiable. No haggling, bundling, or begging.
-You, and anyone who has characters in the piece, have permission to re-post my work, so long as credit is given, or there is a link to the original. If credit/link is lacking, you will be asked to change that before I report it as "stolen art".
-Progress sketches/WIPs available upon request only. Please specify if you want to see these.
-Please DO NOT to forward payment to my Paypal until I have approved your commission. Payments made before that will be refunded.
-Payments are by Paypal ONLY. If you have a secondlife account please let me know, lindens are the only other form of payment I will accept.Please put your username/some indication who you are in the personal note and which piece you are paying for when paying. Please select the "Goods" or "Service" option for these payments. DO NOT choose any of the options under "Personal", or "eBay items".

looking for an artist
Posted 12 years agoI am looking for an artist who can do a portrait type picture of myself and my mate. My wolf is arctic, with silver tipped white fur and icey blue eyes, his is completely solid white with red eyes...I am looking for a 'realistic' portrait, with us as ferals in an every day type life laying pose outside a den or in a clearing or a meadow..background is up to the artist as long as their is one....even if it's like black with stars and a prop rock or something.
I am also looking for a feral version with pups, but that is not as important to me as the first. If you or someone you know is up to this, I am offering 30$ if it's this month..or am willing to do a payment plan up to 60$, which would take me about 3 months to pay.

Question abut movie screenshots
Posted 12 years agoI have a habit of snapping screenshots during movies at interesting angles, and I'd love to post them, especially the ones that are only nature and buildings, but I've not a clue whether or not these are allowed to be uploaded and I don't want to get in trouble. I'd ofc upload with credit and name of the movie/show that it came from.
Does anyone know if these are allowed or what?

Posted 12 years agothee's a lot thats happened recently, and I shall be on FA more than I have been in awhile. My hubby and I have finally set a date [dec 10th 2013] and everything is set for it to happen.
We are still looking for housing but I've come to think we should just settle for a vehicle. If we can't get into the local 30% of income apartments we have no way to get housing without a room mate who we would need to trust and we really dont trust that many folks..who have the money at least lol.
Art is sorta kinda underway again.

oh, hai - Life Updates

Sorry life got hectic, but I'm back at least for a little while.
We moved to Florida for a few months but the opportunity, as is usual, was not what it seemed so we are on our way back to Wisconsin, and should be there sometime Saturday.
A long story short we were told x amount of cash would be spent on bills and the rest would be ours but in four months less than 100$ has been spent on my mate and myself, which means we were cheated out of over 700$...and they were working hard on another 1000$ this month.... -shakes head-
But we got out of there and are now overjoyed to be heading back to the state we left....we had a few nice things happen down here...enough so that we can actually afford a hotel while we search for housing for ourselves in La Crosse County.
If anyone here has an inside ear at the aforementioned county's section 8 housing or could get us a place for $300-400..even 500$/month don't hesitate to email me [2ndchancesitter@gmail.com] or reply here and my mate and I will repay in whatever way we can.

Rainbow Bridge Committee
Posted 12 years agoJust this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
