Anyway!
Prices may vary between 250 € and 300 € per character depending on their complexity, and would include full backgrounds and render.
If interested, use PMs on here, bsky, or discord (kevintheradioguy) and tell me the scenario you have in mind, so we can figure out how to best depict it.

Posted 12 months agoSome time ago, I started a small worldbuilding side-project that developed into something a bit bigger than that. Some artworks, a story, lots of design ideas – that sort of thing. It is set in a dystopian low-fantasy world of about the same levels of development as modern day Earth; and slowly covers many nasty themes, like physical and mental torture, enslavement, sexual violence, segregation, genocide – you name it. I tried to upload everything on this wrbsite, but failed in jumping between the profiles. So recently I’ve decided to revive it on another platform where all the stories, reference sheets, and artworks would go, alongside with AMA and alike. I will still copy the artworks in this profile (albeit, illustrations, and not worldbuilding sheets), but if you’d like to follow, have a read, and wait for eventual design sheets, I shall welcome any fellow stalker over at We are the Yokai tumblr.
Will it be slow? Yeah, probably. It will also vary levels of dark themes and harshness, but I don't think any text will be sfw, though images might. All and all, I am there to have fun and maybe trot the edge of tumblr rules.

When I moved from Ukraine to Germany due to the war, I've lost most of my library in the process. In the move, a few boxes were lost, which unfortunately had my entire library but a few books in the backpack with me.
I have created a list to recreate the lost books, albeit, couldn't find some beloved classics of mine. If anyone wants to get me something on my b-day or whatever other holiday, getting back even one book would be amazing. I miss my reading material dearly.

The country has been struggling a lot, and I do donate what I can, but there's nearly not enough I can do. So I am opening charity commissions - this time full-render, to send all of the profits for Armed Forces of Ukraine, humanitarian needs, or Civil Defence.
I have been struggling to get my wife and dogs from the country as well, which is still bringing me a lot of stress, so note that this commission batch might take a little longer to complete: the turnaround time might be around a month or even a bit longer. That said, feel free to bother me whenever you want for updates: the commissions will be done, or your money returned. I take my
badge very seriously.
Brief ToS:
○ I am an artist not unlike most on this website. General Creative Common ToS of most artists apply here as well.
○ You may take as many slots as you like.
○ A slot means an image, not a character. Thus, you may take one slot and ask for two, three, five, ten characters depicted, but extra fees will apply.
○ I only do illustrations this time, priced at 100 Euros a piece, +50% of the base price per additional character (so, for example, an image with three characters would cost 200 Euros, being 100 (one character) + 50 (second character) + 50 (third character).
○ Tips are much appreciated. Any extra coin will go to cover what I had to spend for an emergency with the dogs (the fee is 300 Euros for extra transportation and vet bills, and is growing), but the main cost will always go to support Ukraine in this war.
○ Either human(oid), anthro, feral, taur, alien, etc. is okay. I do not specialise in one type of creatures, though note that complex designs might get a small fee.

Charity pwyw commissions are now open!
Posted 3 years agoMany of you may know that around a year back - in mid-February 2021 - I have moved to Kyiv, Ukraine, for a new job and to start a new life. A lovely place, really, charming people, lots of humour around, lots of love. That is, before February of this year, when Russia decided to attack of false pretenses, starting a horrific fascist war that is still going and costs many civilian lives in the country. Of course, it brought a lot of stress in my life, though I admit, I'm well off compared to some poor souls out there.
Two weeks into the war, I have managed to evacuate alongside with part of my office, and relocate to a nice little hamlet which is, though beautiful, is so tiny there's really nothing to do but jumping mountains. Cannot even work for many reasons - some are on my side of things, some are on the side of the company itself. I have no idea what happens next, but I don't want to wind myself up for nothing too.
Before this all happened, I have taken on a few last commissions, and am now feeling comfortable enough (morally, physically it's almost impossible to draw properly in a tiny room with only a bed as furniture) to finish them. And then I have free time, and a lot of charity to do, as this is the only thing I actually can do during these times.
So, to kind of kill time, and help with this, I will be opening some flat commissions for y'all. They won't be fully-rendered, and are on pay what you will basis. Everything I earn from them, would be donated to humanitarian causes (the situation is dire, with the attacking side refusing almost all humanitarian corridors), or Ukrainian armed forces.
The first bunch goes to humanitarian causes: I shall be rotating my donations. Earlier this month I have donated 1'000 euro for armed forces, so next 1'000 euro will go to humanitarian, and then armed forces again, and the cycle will continue, until the war's over.
So, how pay what you will works for those uninitiated? Well, it's simple, really, and in the title. You commission whatever you want to be drawn, and then send payment of however much you think it costs. Payments are done via PayPal and in euro, and will require you to mention your username and a platform you were commissioning me from for later credits (ex.: "@kevinradioguy, Twitter")
I will be taking such commissions in bunches of five. Once all five slots are done, I'll open another bunch. I won't be holding any slots, however, because I'm just bad at such things and might disappoint you, so be on the lookout!
I shall probably be doing at least halfbodies, as I'm interested in drawing poses more than just portraits.
I also do mostly humanoid and anthro characters, though can go for feral and monstrous ones, as well as backgrounds and even maps for your ttrpgs and AUs.
Every your repost and share counts: this isn't for me, after all, this is all for charity causes, to help people survive in such horrific times. Many artists do the same all around the world, so it's time for me to do the same.

If everything goes well, I might start at least sketching again.
Though it's hard to see "well".
For the last two weeks I've been really good. Calm, collected. Even have been tasked with coordinating an evacuation, which I took as a responsibility, and hopefully did well enough.
Yesterday or maybe the day before everything just came crushing on me, and I broke at the seams. Not sure when I'll get well again, though I'm feeling a bit better already.
The day it all came upon my head I slept for sixteen hours straight, and I'm not sure why I even bothered to wakeup. Because I didn't want to wake up at all. Still don't. I want to lie down, fall asleep for months and months, and wake up when everything's fine, when I can go home, get to work, make stupid videogames for y'all. To hear no sirens, or bombs, or air defence, or shootouts. And everything is as it was before. I can narrate my VtM game properly on the weekends, write this stupid pbp with a player, and listen to my players make up paranoid shit about the bigger plot. And I would cook strange dinners for my wife, play some videogame in my free time to complain about backwards design no sane person would make, draw shit, and complain about how slow the local post is.
But as for now, I don't want to wake up.
If everything goes well, I might start at least sketching again.
