The memes are hilarious. The protests are necessary. The black outs are a clear message to the government.

But, if this truly offends you, it is not enough. If you rightfully fear for the sanctity of the internet. Of this website. Of art, communication, truth, and liberty, then making a few jokes is not going to be enough to stop this from happening.

Call your senators. There are lists of their phone numbers all over the internet. Tell them, as their constituents, that you disagree with this bill and will not support them for reelection if they vote to support this bill.

IF you can't find your senators number, leave your state in the comments box and I will find it for you. But only if you promise that, tomorrow, you will take 15 minutes out of your day to give them a phone call and make a real, lasting change in your government.

It's actually happened a few times since this con; I'll go to one of my friend's pages, and find a friend from an ENTIRELY different circle of friends posting on their wall.

Thanks for the art. I've seen a lot of bitchin' stuff tonight and it's got me crazy motivated to draw more. I think I'll pump out some of my own stuff before I pick up another batch of commissions.

Had a blast. Did a TON of art.

Our table did fairly well. People seemed to like the combination of adorable cute things and grim-dark. This is also the first year where I feel like I have enough confidence in my art that I don't feel like I'm over charging anymore. My only regret is that I took a bit too much homework and ended up getting pretty back logged.

Sitting by  lizardbeth and  greencat was also a great atmosphere.  cindee and Enzo kept us productive and everyone seemed to get along great. Derps flowed like water. Tons of jokes were made. At one point, Cindee, Green Cat, Liz, and myself were racing against each other doing $1 speed sketches, which got quite an audience.

All around, I had a complete blast and I'm sad that it's over so quickly.

Wish I had more time to spend with Mala, Lady Foxgloves, Erin, and Mel. But, I at least did get to see them.

There seems to be a point on the internet where your brain just... turns off.

I realized that I hit this point as I was munching on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and watching a video of a robotic ketchup bottle skirting ketchup into hot dogs while a man played the 20th century fox theme on a whistle... and didn't thing this strange.

I think part of me just died. Or, if not died, was swallowed into the depths of the internet. Farewell, piece of me. May you experience glorious times amongst the net's endless ether.

I HAVE NO IDEA! I may, or may not, be doing Stand Up Comedy this year; FC hasn't really gotten back to me either way.

Normally, I'd say that means no. But, two years ago, I showed up to discover that I was doing comedy. Without having sent in an application. So, we'll see how it goes.

I'm almost DONE with my commissions!

Unfortunately, my Wacom pen has BITTEN THE DUST. It's stuck and I need to get a new one. The inks are done on the current commissions.

As a result, I am now open to sketch, ink, derp, and real media commissions so I can get a new Wacom pen.

Sketches are $10. Inks are $20. Badges are $20.

I'm opening five slots to covers the costs. Commissions will be scanned and emailed to you, or mailed to you for standard mailing costs. Alternatively, I could also hand them to you at next FC or whenever is convenient if you're in California. :D

Finally back from Con and at a computer.

HOLY SHIT THIS YEAR WAS AWESOME!

It was a blast meeting new people and having some time to hang out with my good friends. Several of you also met  cindee this year, so I can no longer pretend that I don't have a girlfriend who is waaaay cooler than I am.

There were WAAAAAY too many people this year too list them all, so let me just thank a few especially amazing people.

Special thanks goes to  rainedog,  orv,  greencat, Frankie,  likeshine, and  ladyfoxglove for showing Cindee that the con does have some pretty normal, awesome, professional people in it. You guys seriously kept me sane and I couldn't ask for better friends to hang out with at the conventions.

I definitely sold more artwork at this convention than at any previously. I'm finally starting to feel confident as an artist and I think I'm starting to pick up some fans. Also, Devin and I had no less than three dozen people come up to us this Con asking if we're doing Stand Up Comedy. With this much random support and an obvious public outcry, I am pleased to announce that:

Stand Up Comedy show will return at FC 2012.

Devin, Patrick, and Myself are already confirmed. Which means that we may have one slot to fill for the show next year. Start peer pressuring Spazfox to drive down and join us; I miss doing shows with him.

Also, on the Stand Up Comedy front, I have also decided that I am going to put together a CD (and maybe a DVD) for the next convention I go to. Right now, it's looking like RainFurrest and AnthroCon are the two prospects. If someone can hook me up with a table or a show at these cons, it will greatly increase my chances of being able to attend.

Finally, on the convention front, I am now accepting Commissions to fund my trip to these other conventions. I must emphasize; I can't do stand up at these conventions unless I can afford to fly there. :(

SO, if you want to get your hands on some horridly under-priced awesome art, send me a note or comment on this journal. Since it's after the con, I can actually take digital color commissions again. I'm open too:

Those are all priced for single characters. But, I can easily negotiate for multiple characters, backgrounds, or really whatever you would like.
