Moving Again!
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone, just wanted to do a quick update about what's going on with me.
My job training is over and now I have to pick up everything and move again (I'm actually writing this in my unfurnished apartment, sitting on the ground because I lost all my chairs ^^; ).
So is this going to delay uploads? Unfortunately, yes. I spent the last two weeks strictly studying for my last test, and I haven't even started on a new story. With that in mind, there probably won't be a story this Friday. I will continue to write, though, but it's going to take some time for me to get back in the groove, so bi-weekly uploads are going to take a pause. And for those of you that have been wanting on more muscle growth stories, more blob Alex, and a return of a certain Eldritch maid, you may be in luck ;)
So that about covers it. Stay tuned for more stories and hope to see you all around!

Going back to posting bi-weekly
Posted 7 years agoHello everyone! Just wanted to give you all a quick update on the posting schedule.
So, I didn’t mean to start a trend of posting a story every week, but it has been a fun little exercise in just getting stuff out there at a constant rate. I’ve been very thankful for all the support all of you have been giving these stories, particularly all the Strange World one.
However, I was able to do that mostly because I had a lot of free time to write and edit those stories. My job has started back up, and I no longer have enough time during the week to adequately produce quality stories.
Therefore, I’m going back to releasing stories once every two weeks (which means the next story will be released on 6 July). This will give me enough time to mull over my drafts and give you all a better product to read and enjoy. If something should happen and I get more time to write again, I may switch back to weekly releases, but for now, this needs to happen just so I’m not releasing inferior or incomplete stories.
And that’s about it! I’ll be working on my last commission over the next two weeks (which means commission slots might open once again soon). Finally, thanks again for reading and supporting my stories.

From the Desk of Killer: Consistency
Posted 7 years agoA recent comment on the second entry to Strange World got me thinking about this more: the purpose and importance of consistency. Of explaining the rules and restrictions in order to give a more clear and consistent understanding of the fictional world the author describes. I have some conflicting thoughts on this matter and I’d like to talk to you all about them.
First, I must say that having consistency makes perfect sense, particularly with long-form stories or for a running universe. Consistency is what informs the reader what matters, what doesn’t, and why the should care about certain things. Stakes are raised when the reader understands the complications and hardships behind conflicts, and that can only be done when they comprehend, at least to some degree, how things operate in the world and why certain issues are easy to fix and others aren’t. Consider the following example: a person can radically change their form at will using magic. Now, if in the same fictional universe another character is radically changed, but didn’t want it and can change back easily, there needs to be a reason. The first example sets up an expectation that magical transformations aren’t an issue, so to then turn around and say they are now an issue creates a logic error. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, there should be no reason this magical transformation is a fun time while this one isn’t.
Now, you’ll note that I said “unless there are extenuating circumstances,” and I think that’s what I like about inconsistencies within fictional worlds. Yes, it does add extra strain on the world to start to add minutiae to events, but I feel that makes the world feel more real. Based on our world, there are some constants like mathematics, physics, basic human logic and emotion, but there are just as much variable and inconsistent attributes to ourselves, our world, and our universe. Is it perhaps a cop-out to say this character’s transformation isn’t a problem because of the method of magic they used, or because they have money, or because they were lucky? In some cases, yes, yet at the same time, such things happen in our world as well. The woman who catches the flu in New York will have a very different experience than the boy that catches it in Kenya. In conclusion, I think this added understanding of further detail, of being willing to have similar events transpire differently in the same fictional world, is something that is fun and challenging to explore.
Those are my thoughts on the matter, but I’m quite interested to hear how you all feel about this. Do you feel stricter, more consistent worlds are the way to go, or do you think they’re too restrictive? Do you like more fluid universes, or do you think they always turn into convoluted messes? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading and farewell

Closing Requests
Posted 7 years agoI’m afraid I’ve reached the point where I need to close down requests. Between the workload of my new job, collaborating with artists more often, and my own series that have been neglected for a while, I just can’t devote time to doing specific user requests anymore. I apologize to those that have been waiting patiently for their requests, but I’m afraid I simply no longer have the time for them.
With that said, I do want to keep an avenue for people to both suggest ideas and even get me to tackle specific ideas. To that end, I will be opening up commissions for the first time in the coming weeks. Rates will start out low, but I will be taking a very limited number of spots just so I can avoid the issue that came up with requests. Also, if you would rather just suggest an idea or theme, you can submit it over here:
https://goo.gl/forms/1tHXci5XmJRgv3WP2
Once again, I sincerely apologize to those that have been waiting for your request. If that has made you disappointed and you wish to leave, I wouldn’t blame you. But I do hope you’ll stick around because I still really like writing and I have some fun and interesting ideas coming up in the future.

Shout-out for a Good Artist: Inkblot123
Posted 7 years agoI'm sure most of my watchers know that I like this artist already, especially those that have been to my streams, but I still wanna give this guy a shout-out:
Inkblot123
This guy has done plenty of awesome artwork for me in the past, from Aubrey's transformation from Dangerous Potions to Sweet Lilly's horrific transformation into an eldritch beast!. But recently, he's been making a lot of really great art, including his anthrosaur saga and other recent commissions!
What you all may not know is he also has a whole page dedicated to his plethora of OCs! Or, most importantly, that this guy has a Patreon! Seriously, his Patreon is criminally underfunded for the amazing and timely artwork he's producing, so it would be awesome if any of you could support him.
And, best of all, me and him are going to be working on a few projects together! So, if you like my stuff, check him out as well!

Shout-out for a good artist: Witchfiend
Posted 7 years agoHey, just wanted to spread the word about a great artist and their Patreon:
Witchfiend
This guy has done some amazing work, including this amazing comic of my Sluggish Procedure story, this awesome series of a girl "adapting" to a wild island, and this breathtakingly detailed piece of Legend of Zelda gals becoming the dragons from Breath of the Wild!
Right now, Witchfiend has a Patreon that, for only a buck a month, you can see some really cool WIPs as well as exclusive sequences and one-shot transformations. But if you donate $3 a month, you can vote on what exclusive transformation drawing will come out next, and for $9, you can submit your own suggestion for the monthly drawing!
So please, go check out his page and his Patreon; he definitely deserves it

New Year, New Beginnings
Posted 8 years agoGreetings all!
Just wanted to drop a quick little something about the end of the year/what to expect for the next year. This year was pretty good in terms of getting stories out. I'm very happy with how everything turned out, and trying out new things like doing weekly stories for Julycanthropy and participating in TF-Stories 's Secret Santa were definitely highlights.
Looking forward to the new year, I would like to finish up the "Dangerous Potions" story-arc as well as continue "Alex's Alien Adaptation." Along the way, I would love to involve my watchers more in the process. How that will take form I'm not quite sure about, perhaps a Discord server, perhaps viewer polls, we shall see.
However, to peel back the curtain slightly, I will be moving in February, and I'll be in training soon after for my new job. I will try my best to continue to write stories and interact with you guys, just know that I might be even slower with uploads ( ^^; )
And should do it! I hope you all had a great 2017, and here's to an exciting, productive, and even better 2018!

From the Desk of Killer: Stretching the Limit- MG and WG
Posted 8 years agoWelcome to a new series of these journals: “Stretching the Limit.” In these, I’ll be discussing different forms of “transformation” I’ve seen that are either usually not included in the genres of transformation or just things I believe at least have generally the same themes. To start things off, I’ll be discussing both Muscle and Weight Gain.
For the uninitiated, the name basically says it all. Muscle gain involves usually normal or skinny characters getting jacked, and weight gain is sort of the opposite, with characters gaining a ton of fat and becoming tubby or even blob-like.
On the surface, both of these are literal forms of transformation. A character starts off one way, then their form changes (sometimes pretty drastically) into something else. What I find even more fascinating is that both of these methods of transformation are the most realistic. While no one has ever turned into another creature, there are plenty of real-world examples of people going from skinny to fat, thin to muscular, and the vice versa of both.
So why aren’t these two included in a lot of transformation fiction and drawing? First off, I think they actually are, in a sense. With a lot of werewolf transformations, there’s usually a line about a person gaining physical strength and size, which could be categorized as a form of muscle gain. Additional, subjects like Pokemon’s Snorlax and other chubby creatures can incorporate themes of weight gain. Therefore, weight and muscle gain are included in some stories and art, they’re just paired with standard creature transformations.
But then, why aren’t vanilla weight and muscle gain attributed to transformation? Personally, I think it’s because it’s too casual, too plausible. Transformation art and literature thrives on the impossible, the thrill of exploring the trials and tribulations of experiencing life in a totally different perspective. While weight gain and muscle gain have that to an extent, perhaps they just don’t go far enough. Or maybe it’s just because it doesn’t involve animals, who knows?
What do you all think? Do you see weight gain and muscle gain as forms of transformation, or are they too simple or different to be included in the pantheon of transformation? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading and farewell.

From the Desk of Killer: Identity Death
Posted 8 years agoThis is a topic that came up a few weeks ago in a group discussion I saw in Discord: what kind of mental transformation do you prefer, specifically in terms of identity-death?
For those that don’t know, identity death is when the transformed character’s mind changes into the final result so much that they forget their previous life. The nature, intelligence, and motivations of the character’s new form basically overwrite their former memories, essential killing the character.
Personally, I prefer my characters to still be coherent after a transformation, if only because that can set up a series of interesting struggles for them. How does their body operate differently than their previous body; what kind of new habits or ticks do they need to contend with; is there a way they can get their old body back; do they want to get it back? It just seems that making the character switch completely into the new thing they’ve become takes all the introspective characterization out of the story. Granted, you could make a very compelling story if the focus is instead on some other character, exploring them coping with the newly transformed character, and that might be something I explore in the future. But just “killing” off the character just because it allows for a solid ending seems lazy to me.
At the same time, I do enjoy some mental alteration. Many of my stories have the conscious human mind discovering and coping with the altered opinions and perceptions of their minds. I think the best example of this is “A Sluggish Procedure,” where Aubrey’s tastes and perceptions on the world change to fit her new slug body. Another, more recent example is “Samus’s Spa.” I think that was the closest I got to identity death, but instead of going the whole way, I tried to make it so she retained her wisdom and experience as a bounty hunter and could then apply them to her life as a Geemer (and I copped out by turning her back at the end). So, I think there is a balance you can strike between identity death and no mental changes.
I’d like to hear what you all think. Do you prefer identity death, or do you like your characters to keep their minds after the change? Let me know in the comments down below!

From the Desk of Killer: Introduction
Posted 8 years agoFrom the Desk of Killer
Welcome to the first of a series I want to start up for my journal: From the Desk of Killer. With these, I’m just gonna talk about my opinions and observations on transformation, story writing and crafting, and other art related things. And while I’ll be on my soapbox for some of these, I definitely would love to hear what you guys have to say about any of these topics that I bring up. After all, as fun as it is for me to rant and rave, it’s way more fun and productive to have a conversation.
So to start things off, I figured I talk about every transformation-focused creator’s go-to topic: what got me into the transformation theme. There were a few things I found during grade school that I liked, like the covers of Animorphs (I’ve never read a single one, and those covers have not aged well), the episode “Transformation” of Teen Titans, and even the Goosebumps book “Chicken Chicken.” But the thing that I thought was really cool back then was the X-Men alien species “The Brood.” I discovered in a reference book of the X-Men, and the concept of an alien race that could steal the abilities and hijack the minds of its victims was really cool to me.
It was in the later stages of high school that I started finding artists online that dealt with this subject material. Arania was definitely the first because she was, and still is, one of the first results to come across if you search “transformation art.” This probably comes as a surprise to no one, but my favorite series of hers is the “Samus into Zeta Metroid” sequence. Along with her, artists like Dragon-Storm and Phantom-Inker were also early favorites of mine. In terms of transformation writing, I honestly haven’t followed any other transformation writers, but I’ve sunk plenty of hours into Fenoxo’s text-based game “Corruption of Champions.”
So, how did you all find transformation art and stories? What are some of your favorite artists and writers of the genre, both back in the day and now? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for reading and farewell.

The Current State of Things
Posted 8 years agoGreetings!
Thought I'd give you guys a quick little update on how things are operating now that Julycanthropy is over.
So, first off, I'm going back into a story-per-three-weeks release schedule. I'm starting to get a bit of a stockpile of stories ready to go, but I want to avoid dumping them all out only to then have nothing to post for several months. So for now, stories will come out steadily every three weeks.
Second, I wanna take some time to promote the amazing work
jesoran did for Alex's Alien Adaptation. The sequence is top-notch, so be sure to check it out and let him know what a fantastic job he did!
Lastly, I wanna do a quick plug on two new platforms I'm on: Picarto and Twitter. I've started streaming with some really talented artists, so come on over and see just what the writing process looks like or even throw out some request ideas!
And that should about cover it. Thanks again for all the support!

Julycanthrope: A Month of Werewolf Tales
Posted 8 years agoHello all! Here with a quick update/explanation for what's going down on this page for the month:
I'm going to be posting short stories focusing on the subject of werewolves all through July! That could mean a guy turning into an anthro wolf; that could mean a gal turning in an actual wolf. It could even mean a wolf turning into a human...
These stories are going to be posted every Friday for the whole month. Now, don't worry about the normal scheduled, longer form stories. I still working on them, and a new one will be released next week.
So stick around, read a few wolfy stories, and watch out for the full moon!

50 Watchers!
Posted 8 years agoWow, thank you, everyone, for watching this page and sticking around to read my stories! It's really nice to see so many people are interested in my work, and I'll strive to continue to provide interesting, fun, and exciting transformation stories.
Of course, I couldn't have reached this milestone without a lot of help, and here are some of the people that made this possible:
jwargod and LazDragon for the awesome request ideas. You can thank these guys for fantastic ideas like Queen Rick and Radiation's Cure. Their ideas were great, and they really propelled my work in interesting ways I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.
Kiaku for, out of the kindness of their heart, creating the awesome thumbnail art for A Sluggish Procedure. They really stepped up to the plate when I asked for help with thumbnails at the beginning of the year, and I can't thank them enough for his contribution (in fact, I believe I owe them something...). Be sure to check out their gallery; there's a lot of really stylish, cartoony drawings and even some pretty sweet transformation sequences!
Inkblot123 and witchfiend for accepting my commissions and drawing really great sequences and comics (which, I suspect, is how a lot of you got here ;) ). Both of them are extremely professional, accommodating, and talented artists, and I would absolutely recommend everyone check out their commissioning information so you can get great pieces like this, this, and this!
Finally, Inkblot123 again, for taking a gamble and agreeing to an art trade with me with Outbreak. He knocked his portion of it out of the park with the sequence based on Dangerous Potions, and I only hope he wasn't joking when he said he enjoyed my side of the trade as well ^^;
Looking toward the future, I will continue working my best to provide you guys with awesome transformation fiction every three weeks, including tomorrow! I plan on continuing the "Dangerous Potions" series as well as starting a new project that just might be illustrated by Jesoran
I've also got upcoming collaborations with the talented Inkblot123 so stay tuned for that as well!
Just to end this on a sappy note, I just want to let all of you know once again how much I appreciate you guys getting me to this milestone. Here's to fifty more!

Status Update
Posted 8 years agoHey, so just wanted to pull back the curtain for a bit to update you guys on how things are going.
So after a rocking start, I've finally started to keep that promise from the beginning of the year of releasing stories more regularly. I still got a few stories that need a little proofreading, and ideas are still coming along. So unless things really start to accelerate in other aspects of my life, expect stories to keep coming out every three weeks.
With that said, the door is still open for requests, trades, etc. While I like wracking my brain for original stories, I've found some of my more interesting work comes from the few requests I've been given. So if you have an idea you'd like me to tackle, just send me a note or leave a comment here and I'll see if it's something in my wheelhouse.
Finally: the thumbnails. I still have the funds for anyone willing to draw up some quick thumbnail art for any of my stories. If that interests you, or if you know some artists out there struggling to get some commissions, let me know.
And that's about it! Expect a new story by Jun 23, and maybe a little something else earlier...

Quick status update/thumbnail help?
Posted 9 years agoWhile I know this is very cliched, thank you very much for watching or viewing my page. I honestly didn't think I'd get this kind of response so soon, so hey, appreciate all of you reading my stories.
Speaking of those stories, I'd like to try to get them out on a regular basis. Now, I can't promise too much, what with my job and the various strange schedules therein, but expect at least one new story per month. I really want to do that for 2017, so hold me to it.
Along the same lines, I realize I need a bit of help, specifically with my thumbnails. While I put a lot of time and effort into my stories, the actual art advertising those stories is basic, if it is even there. So if any of you would like to draw thumbnails for these stories, I have the funds to commission such drawings. Just message me and I'd love to work with you.
That's about it. Please favorite and comment on the short stories you like, and for the love of God, let me know what you want me to improve on. Critical analysis will help my writing style, even if it's just "proofread more, you dummy."

First Journal for End of First Series
Posted 9 years agoSo, just finished up my first extended story here (links down below), and I just wanted to thank you all the cool guys and gals that read it, faved it, and left comments, too. I honestly thought it would be buried in the avalanche of stuff posted here, but I'm glad and humbled that you guys read it. Thanks!
The second reason I'm writing this journal is to let you guys know I've already got another extended story idea in mind, but it'll be pretty different from my last series. First off, I'm trying to do something completely original, not fan-fiction. Secondly, it'll be fantasy, since I'm hitting the whole scifi thing pretty hard between Metroid, Fallout, and that one original story I did. So expect to see that coming up soon.
And that's about it. Stick around if you wanna keep reading, and let me know if you got any requests or whatever you want me to tackle. Even though I'm working on this other story, I really do enjoy the requests you guys give me.
