Oddly I've been kind of living an duel online life as a Brony. Like the two don't mix... silly I know. I'm also unbelievably shy about pony in real life. So here it is. I'm a Brony and I’m out of the stable while hiding in the the closet. Yeah it's still silly. ha.

Why is this rant important? I'm going to start posting art.

bought a new SP1 paintball gun.

Talked to a friend about the good old days of paintball and we decided we'd go play soon. I haven't played in about 6 years and most of my stuffs been stolen or lost. Hence the new gun. Need a hopper, tank and all the little stuff.

At least I have an old...(bran new when I quit) dye mask that's useable but after 6 years it really needs a new lens. Also have 2 sets worth of freak barrel inserts and no freak barrels.

New car and paintball gun... must be a midlife crisis. Hope not I'm saving that excuse to buy something nicer that a scion and a $170 paintball gun...

I went out and bought a shiny new 09 silver Scion XD. Love it. Put 5k down got the rest in a 5year note $205 a month, 3.4%. good deal.

Much better than my old beat up Nissan pick-up i've been driving for13years. Was going to trade the truck in for cash for clunkers but decided to hold onto it. It's to useful.

Made a new Phi vinyl sticker for it but cant decide where to put it.

hmm not been to fur lately. just been stalking the affinity site.

Working on a new sword. it's going to be the grand prize at my local comic book store's 40k warhammer summer campaign. pics are up coming.

My roof has been leaking. been working on that over the weekend. Think i got most of the problem licked. but it will take a few weekends for me to finish the patch, re-tar and paint the whole thing. hopfully i can get another 3 years out of it.

had fun. I was sick the first few day, witch put a damper on the week. the main thing i wanted was to make a new set if gauntlets. Got most of it done.

Also did a little forge work and my brother made some Damascus or folded steel blades for me to take home. They should be fun to make knives out of.

Yeah!!!!! a weeks vacations. going to see my brothers in Mississippi. pond some steel, make some armor, and goof off. probably drink heavily.

took some time off from being anything. my dad had Alzheimer, he was young to, late 50's. Spent all my free time taking care of him and trying to confer mom. Well he passed away 2 weeks before thanksgiving. I'm still sad but not sorry. Sorry is for a person with regrets .

For 3 years i've given my weekend to him. oddly it left a bit of a hole. not one that's sad but one that can be ones again be filled with hobby's, friends and maybe even love. :)

I cheated a bit though. I had the rapier all completed except the final polish. 3 hours tops.

The chipped knife is the third one I’ve made and I'm happy with the style now. Still it took forever, probably in the 70-80hour range. I lost count. It feels good to get it done.

No if I can just learn to draw furry art. Or maybe make a power puff theme sword like my brothers have been joking about.

Yep it’s a new year and I’m already behind =)

Last year I wanted to be happy and by doing so discovered happiness is too subjective to seek. The happier you are the more the bad moments suck. So this year I’m going to try and enjoy the down moments as much as possible yet still try and avoid them.

Also last year seemed to be the year of the incomplete projects. Started too many things yet completed nothing. That life some times.

So if anyone acutely reads this gibberish, I declare this to be "the year of finishing stuff" and you can expect to see many new knives and swords.
