I wonder what goes through the heads of those who ask other artists for Art Trades, shouldn't be bothered by it right?
BUT here is my question: do you even look at your art and then the artists art you want to trade with and wonder if you are even remotely close to the art level?
There have been quite a few cases in which my friends and I were asked for Art Trades from people who basically just started drawing.

It honestly comes off as they are trying to get somewhat free art, something where they don't have to pay a price for a commission.
It's getting really annoying sometimes..

Sounds mean of me but honestly I don't know any other way to put it and I think some people have to address this.
This never happened to me when I started out as an artist, I was never asked for an Art Trade back then nor did I even remotely think about asking anyone
because I was somewhat ashamed of the level I was at lmao.

I honestly consider myself lucky to be able to write this.
I have not been well over the past few months due to a lot of stress that happened in my person and work life.
I lost a friend and won a old and good friend back, I am lucky to have another chance with them!
My recent life decision must have been the best I did in over half a year I believe, I actually feel very optimistic despite still having stress here and there but
the main problem should be out of the way and with that relief I can work on my mental health as well!

Time to upload another journal for once.
It's about my part inactivity here. I have just been very tired lately and I feel drained a lot.
I wanna start working on commissions again later today so I can finish up what I started and can concentrate on new stuff!

So I wanted to type this journal on my computer but turns out I don't have any time anymore so here I go typing on my phone.
I usually keep it low with update journals on FA but I feel like I should bring this out.
So today I finally got my first car ever! It's my early birthday present from my parents, only thing that's missing right now is my license but I got my driving exam on Thursday! I'm super excited and so looking forward to driving on my own, not depending on public transport and constant irritating bus drivers.
But I also would like to say that I am thinking about being more serious about who I accept commissions from. I keep getting notes from customers asking and pushing me (even when they imply they don't want to be pushy). Doesn't matter what you intent, it makes me FEEL stressed. And that's the last thing I want. I am a hobby artist, I do NOT depend on ANYONES money here, just so you get that. I finished school, I had my exams recently, I graduated. I am starting my new job in August and I will be paid on a regular basis. Don't ever think I depend on anyone here. Honestly I think it's quite rude to keep asking about commissions after already telling the customers that I am busy with life stuff. I now still have to check notes and reply to some.
The past few days while I was slowly coming back to art I have been busy all day and mostly only got about 2 to 3 hours of drawing each day and I certainly also want to use that with my private stuff. I am not a robot who only keeps working for other people's favors.
So considering all that and that I am here to have fun and not to stress out because of certain people on here I might be taking more serious measures.

About my irl life though:
After quite a bit of stress, the situation is finally coming to an end! Everything is settled for next year and all I have to concentrate on right now is driving school and catching up on social media haha. Art will be slow for now since I have to get back to my old pace again but that is also not easy due to my love staying over at my house until the end of July.

So I got to know today that my BF's dog is in need of a vet but because of his other financial duties (the upcoming trip included) he cannot afford that at the moment and I want to help him. He is not an artist so he can't earn any money on here :/

My goal is to reach about 70 to 90 dollars.
The whole process will cost around 100 dollars..

So lately I have noticed something that is really irritating to a lot of people and triggered me too.
There are artists out there who are going through rough times and need all the support and reassurance they can get. Yet some people think it's ok to stab them in the back with a charge back threat on a commission when the artist is already low and depending on money. That is incredibly rude and unasked for. You may be waiting for a commission for quite a while but you also need to keep in mind that there are people who ordered things BEFORE you did and that they come first. You have been waiting for a month or two? Well bu hu some people wait patiently for a whole year and it's very unlikely that a commission will take much longer. KEEP IN MIND: This behavior often DEMOTIVATES the artist and makes them not want to work on your commission, as in my case. We are not machines that work 24/7. We have a social life just like you do.
Yet another thing I have noticed is the fact that some people basically hunt the artists activity down and whenever they try to earn money for groceries or whatever LIVE IMPORTANT thing they IMMEDIATELY note the artist and start threatening them. That is not ok people. You are waiting and getting impatient I get it but adding fuel to the fire won't do shit. In fact it only stresses the both of you out.
Lately I have been spammed by people on social media and private messengers and it's really getting on my nerves. I am sure I am not the only one here. If you know that people are busy with their lives then (this is going into my own personal point of view) it's ok to send them a message yes but don't spam that someone and have their inbox explode x-x
It's best to just wait for the person to reply until they are ready who knows what they are going through that you don't see. Let them be online and active online, maybe they just need a break and some distraction? In my case this behavior actually triggers me and makes me want to delete messengers like Skype ugh.

I got back from a surgery about an hour ago and now I am stuck in my bed.
I won't be able to get on my computer and draw for at least a week.

So I took a break from the most part of the internet because there was (still is) so much going on in my life and that included DA and FA.
It's all slowly getting back on track but I still lack motivation and time to draw :/
I have also gotten sick a few days ago and had to stay in bed until a few minutes ago haha... what a waste of time ..
I brought good news though:
After the next two weeks I everything will calm down and all I will have to worry about (mostly) is school and the upcoming A-levels.
