For $16, you get a piece of unique lineart in the style of my 100 Theme Adoptables with two color variations.

You can give me as little or as much freedom as you'd like, but be sure to let me know anything you're sure you DON'T want!

- Since you get two recolors, you can give away or sell any design you don't want to keep.
- I will make minor edits to the finished adoptables for free, but larger edits will cost extra, like big lineart changes and redoing colors entirely.

Would anybody be interested in these? You would basically give me a theme and a few details, like possible colors and species, and I would give you unique line-art with two recolors. You could use both, or give one to a friend.

Our internet went out yesterday so I won't be around very much until it gets resolved. We're sharing with a very kind neighbor, but it looks like they didn't pay their bill and it got shut off ;w; Sadly, I am kinda helpless in this situation because unlike Marzipan, I don't have a smart phone.

Hopefully we are going to be getting our own internet soon, so this won't be a problem in the future! I am kind of sick of having internet in only one half of our house, anyway =w=

ohhh my god I have had no time for the internet or art that isn't for my graphic design job which is basically the dumbest thing ever because I miss drawing and also doing fun things that aren't sleeping.

I have some commissions I still even need to send out but I just keep looking at the thumbnails in my art folder and hesitating because I can't tell if I'm too tired to find any blatant mistakes ;m;

I just have to keep telling myself that AFTER CHRISTMAS I WILL HAVE TIME TO DO THINGS AGAIN.

So October is over. I miss Halloween already! I got to spend it with some cool friends this year, unlike the last few, where it was just me and  -marzipan-. We carved pumpkins and watched scary movies and ate an absolutely stupid amount of food. Hell yes.

I've been getting questions about one of my adoptables rules, so I figured I would clarify a little better!

---

I require that you notify me if you are buying an adoptable with the intent to permanently kill it.

You must notify me if:
• You are buying a design with the intent to permanently kill the character.
• The character is being permanently killed off in a picture that is snuff, vore, guro or any other kind of fetish art.
• You will be using the character in fewer than four pieces of artwork or writing before killing the character.

You do not have to notify me if:
• The character may die in the future in some sort of storyline.
• You will likely use the character in four or more images.
• The character will be made undead after being killed.

You may notify me by PM if you would prefer!

Please don't let these rules deter you from considering buying from me. I will usually let designs go even if I know they will be killed off—I just like to know beforehand in case I am considering keeping a design for myself.

Okay dudes, I am back home and back in school, so hopefully my schedule will start to MAKE SENSE again. I'm going to be scheduling myself for less hours at work, which should help too. Basically, my life has been a fucking mess for like two months (More??? IDEK anymore) and I am ready for things to CALM THE FUCK DOWN.

Anyway, I've gone above and beyond my excuses quota and I am sick of making them.

The more detail you can give me, the better, because then I'll be able to take care of it ASAP without hunting.

Why This has Been Less of a Vacation Than I Thought It Would Be.

Basically, between the jet lag, the fact that I am APPARENTLY WAY MORE ALLERGIC TO CATS THAN I THOUGHT I WAS, and having to socialize with family, I've had way less free time than I figured.

I am going to sit down and do some organizational work right now, and then I'll try to bang out a few commissions.

PS: If I owe you an adoptable, can you let me know? Between the traveling and dental work, I have barely any recollection of anything that happened between last Monday and about four days ago.

Just a heads up: I had a root canal done yesterday on an infected tooth, and it was hells of not fun. It took, like, almost an hour to numb my idiot tooth, to the point where the senior dentist had to come in and try something different just to see if it'd work. Luckily, it did, but all of the prodding and poking and stabbing has left me feeling like I've been punched in the face.

And then tomorrow I am flying up to NY for a memorial service.

So yep. I'm going to be ignoring everything but this bottle of Vicodin and Spock/Kirk fanfiction until probably like thursday or friday.

PS: ty for the headphone suggestions! I will look into them when I'm done feeling like a sack of dead stuff.

So I am shopping around for some new headphones, since mine are basically busted in two places and the foam is coming off ;w; They are a pair of skullcandies I got on sale like five years ago.

The thing is, I don't want ones that are going to cost more than $10-25 bucks, because they are going to be lugged around and will likely break. I do a lot of traveling and I don't want to be particularly careful with them!

Feel free to suggest Skullcandies again, since you can sometimes find them on sale for stupid cheap. I was actually pretty pleased with the sound quality, so I want to find a pair that's similar or better.

TL;DR:
-New headphones
-Under $20, preferably under $15
-Comparable quality to Skullcandies
-At least sort of durable because I will probably sit on them.
-Not earbuds, because those hurt my ear canals.

Oh, and PLEASE don't just tell me to go for more expensive ones for quality reasons. I can't afford much more than $20 right now for a pair of travel headphones, so please don't try to convince me otherwise 8(

[Also, I'll be going through my notes and sending out adopts hopefully later today. x__x I've been hells of busy from packing and working. I'll try to get to everybody in the next couple of days!]

As I've said a bunch of times before, I have a full-time job that takes up most of my time, so it's kind of been eating into the time I'd been using to do commissions. It's a pretty labor-intensive job, so after 7-8 hours days, 6 days a week, a lot of my free time is spent laying in bed, wondering why I am doing this to myself. (And then I usually remember that I am doing it for the steady paycheck. Money is nice.) Sometimes I do adoptables, because honestly, it's the only remotely artistic thing I can get myself to do when I'm so exhausted.

That said, I have a vacation coming up at the end of the month where I'm going to have absolutely stupid amounts of free time. This means I'll be able to clear off my queue, which will be pretty great!

Hopefully I will have everything done by September 1st.

In the future, I will probably only be opening commissions for a few slots at a time, with only certain kinds of commissions, unless I can start working less hours at my day job. We'll see!

In the meantime, though, I am going to be closing commissions.

Someone on deviantArt stole my adoptables. I would like to get them taken down ASAP! Unfortunately, because DA is understaffed, this can really only be done quickly if multiple people send reports.

If you bought any of these adoptables, please send a report, or else someone might buy your character and that would really suck.

Nobody really seems particularly interested in them? I can't tell what exactly is throwing people off about them. Is it the shading, or the fact that they're not one-of-a-kind or because they are fairly straight-forward canids?

If you have any concrit on them at all, I'd be glad to hear it ;w;

I'm thinking of moving my order form to google forms, but I'm not sure if I want to take out my passcode or not. For those of you who don't know, I have a passcode stuck somewhere in my TOS that people have to put into their order form for me to accept their order.

On one hand, it makes people slightly more likely to read at least some of my TOS, but on the other, I'm afraid it has deterred people from commissioning me.

Basically, instead of the passcode, I'd just have a ticky box that says, "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service."

What do you guys think? Have you ever been deterred by it? Would you be deterred by it? Do you like it?

Like, skins, as in, what goes on your body, not what goes on an object! I can't find a freaking tutorial out there for this specifically, only for adding texture to a head or something.
