Just wanted to say I still am around. With a promotion I got back in November (actually right after I came back after FurPocalypse 2015), I have been a bit busier at work and have had a lot more on my plate.
For those of you who all know I've been working @ the Red Cross as a Phlebotomist and am Double Red Trained, the promotion I have gotten is to Charge. And to give the lowdown on that I basically Supervise the Blood Drives now on top of my other position.
Also in that plate is I'm also a trainer so between Charge and sometime Training in-coming staff, I've been a bit busier. But, before anyone thinks I'm completely missing, I will be attending Anthrocon 2016 (June/July 2016) & FurPocalypse 2016 (October 2016)!!!!
But I will try to put up more artwork in the future!

UPDATE: AC 2015; New Car; & FP 2015
Posted 10 years agoNow that's it's after Anthrocon 2015; I must say this I had an awesome time and wanting to go back again, not only because I ran into alot of Furs I know from FurPocalypse; but I also made some new awesome FurFriends as well!!! Definitely want to keep in touch with everyone!!!!!
I finally had to Junk my 96 Neon (which I named Reiko) this past Saturday. Not to Worry, I have a New Car in line for this upcoming week. It's an '02 Mercury Grand Marquis, she is being named Mizuno after Ami Mizuno, aka Sailor Mercury! So I will have wheels again!!!!! Which will be nice. The reasoning behind it is that Reiko had been leaking Oil so bad that it was getting to the point of where as fast as I would put it in; she'd be leaking it out almost as fast. Oh well, these things do happen! I will be happy later on this week when I have Mizuno!
Finally FurPocalypse 2015, this year is looking to be an awesome year for it! I don't want to say too much but I look forward for the "Dark Carnival Atmosphere"! And right now I have 1 opening for a roommate for it if ya need a room! Please PM ME if you need a room! I am again in the Crowne Plaza (which is the Main Hotel) again this year!!!! And also look forward on seeing you all coming out for the Dark Carnival!!!!

FurPocalypse 2015 - A Look Forward
Posted 11 years agoWith the conclusion of FurPocalypse 2014; they announced the theme of next year being the "Dark Carnival Freakshow!" Gives me such wonder costuming ideas!!!!! And it will be Oct. 30-Nov. 1
Though I'm also working on an idea for a panel to get it ready for next year!!!!!!!! Just a lil hint on my idea: What better way to come to Freak Show with some lil Red Freaks (but becareful with your money).

FurPocalypse - The Kat's Recovery!!!!
Posted 11 years agoFurPocalypse 2014 has come and passed over this weekend!
Not only did I get to see some of the you guys that I've met before; but, I got to make new friends and meet some new furs!!!!!
FurFright may have come to an end but from the ashes of what was, FurPocalypse started on it's own ventures and yes some of the traditions have remained alive, for the 1st year of this con, it held it's own!
And I must finally say this, seeing this con from a staff point of view, on what goes on behind the scenes to what makes the con run smoothly, it is not just all fun and games, but it is a lot of hard work!!!!
And my message is to all who had/have doubts about this con, you should return once more, it still has all the magic of a Halloween and FurFright!!!!!! Much less we had Fire-Con: Part Deux (accept this time, it wasn't our con's fault!)
Not only did I get to see some of the you guys that I've met before; but, I got to make new friends and meet some new furs!!!!!

The Return of Sailor Moon & Upcoming opening of Commissions!
Posted 11 years agoAlright everyone it is June 1, 2014. Here's the latest news:
The Return of Sailor Moon
- Sailor Moon, the hit Anime of the 1990s is on her return to the US. For those who have known. For the past two Monday, Viz has released the first six episodes of the anime onto their own Video Streaming network, Neon Alley, and Hulu (Hulu+ for those watching on game systems & mobile devices); and will be releasing two more episodes every subsequent Monday (This does include the episodes skipped over by DiC from the original days).
On May 16, 2014 they had made an announcement that VIZ will be redubbing the entire Sailor Moon Series starting with Sailor Moon through Sailor Moon SuperS; and for the first time ever Sailor Moon Sailor Stars will finally be given an English Dub. This means unlike the original dub, ALL 200 episodes are due to be released on Blu-ray and DVD. And each season will be released in two parts (sort of like how the Season sets for Totally Spies & Power Rangers are being done. Two Volumes per season). These along with the specials & movies are also said to be being redubbed/dubbed for the first time.
Along with that, the cast has yet to be announced for the 2014 Dub; though it has been stated that Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon will has helped with the casting. But, a preview clip on the Sailor Moon 2014 Trailer revealed at the end Usagi's new US Voice.
As I said in a previous journal Sailor Moon Crystal has been slated to begin on NicoNico on July 5, 2014 @ 7PM Japan Time; 6 AM US Time; it is to my understanding that VIZ will also be taking care of the dubbing & releasal to the US DVD & BluRay.
So this really is a huge Sailor Moon event this year!
Naoko has even has a party set up in Japan for females only; however, if you are male and want to go, you have to have a female with you, set on June 30, 2014 for a preview screening of the first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal. The reason why this date had been chosen for those who didn't know Usagi (Serena in the original Dub)'s Birthday is June 30th. And there is your reason.
Upcoming opening of Commissions!
- Now, in other news, I know I've been announcing an upcoming opening of commissions. I haven't selected the exact date yet. But I will be opening up the commissions again! Starting sometime mid this month so please keep an eye out on the journal & also my commissions as I will be listing a pricing image up for all y'all to view! When I post up the new prices & the journal. That will be the official re-opening of the commissions! So stay tuned to the FA PAge!

Posted 11 years agoI have just gotten the official word that Sailor Moon's newest addition to the anime, Sailor Moon Crystal is slated to begin stream airing on July 5, 2014 @ 7PM. (Don't know if it's US Time or JApan Time). Anyway, it is officially and Toei has teamed up with Nico Nico to do the world wide streaming.
Little is known right now if it's going to be subbed for all the countries through out the world or if it's going to dubbed or anything like that.
But, what is definitely know is that July 5, 2014, Sailor Moon Crystal will make it's debut on Nico Nico. So for those who wish to watch Sailor Moon Crystal should go here: http://www.nicovideo.jp/ to make their accounts to say can see the series.

Commissions - The Update
Posted 11 years agoAs you all know I did say, that my Commissions for badges will be opened up in May or June 2014. I'm glad to say right now everything is on track, but I do need to put this out there, that if it opens in May, It wouldn't be until at least Mid-late May. I am currently working on an art commmission for a co-worker at this time for her "Mother's Day" gift to someone. So, I will be opening up the Badge Slots, in Mid/Late May or Early June 2014!!!! So please definitely keep an eye out for those!

As you can see, I have finally updated my profile on FA. It now features a better, info on me as well as added Groups and Commission info to it. And it's color coded. I will be updating even more in the future, for more info so stay tuned on that front. Along with that, the submission "Kipcha Then & Now" has been officially renamed to reflect it being my 100th Submission! Not only that, but Here's to 100 More in the future!

As of right now the Commissions are temporarily closed. As of right now, I should be back up and opening my commissions on badges at some point in May/June 2014. Along with the reopening I will be revealing the prices on the new updated badges on the reopening.
Life:
I have recently received a promotion at work. I will no longer be a Nursing Tech for the American Red Cross; I will be moving up to becoming a Double Red Cell Tech for the Red Cross, which means, along with doing the normal Whole Blood Procedures, I will be preforming the Double Red Cell Procedures with the Alyx Machines!

Posted 12 years agoJust in time for the 20th Anniversary of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, I am doing a badge run. Right now, I am opening up 10 slots for commissions. Here are the Details:
Each badge will be priced at $5 and are 3.25" x 4.5". They are going to be done in Colored pencil. And finally with each purchase of a badge it will be laminated and have the clip already included with it.
If you are going to order a badge, I would like to have you post on this journal to indicate that you are wanting one. Then send me a note with the following:
- Name that you want on the badge.
- Fursona Reference / Special Details about your Fursona (such as special designs in stripes, or stuff on that one).
- Which Power Ranger Color.

Posted 12 years agoDue to the popularity of the Kipcha as the White Ranger, I am working on the rest of the set of the MMPR for the 20th Anniversary Samples. When I get them done I'll post em if they drum up enough popularity, I might just start taking commissions on them.
I will be sampling a set of Pink, Red, Blue, Black, Green, and Yellow. If it works out as I said I might start taking commissions on them so Stay Tuned for the next update.

E3 Nintendo Mario; Pokemon; Smash Bros.; and MarioKart.
Posted 12 years agoAs You All know, today is Nintendo's E3 Presentation Day! And I must say from the initial Nintendo direct I was impressed right from the start today. Though XBox One and PS4 have their own strengths. The Nintendo Direct this morning showed quite a few of the upcoming games to be released during the 2013-2014 Nintendo Year. The first game I wanna discuss on the docket is Super Mario 3D World being released on the WiiU. This game play is taking the style of the Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Bros WiiU and making the play format a 3D world instead of side-scrolling. It has been confirmed that it will be able to use both WiiU GamePad & the Wii-mote controllers as well as the Co-Op Format from the Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii U games will be back. And for those who remember Super Mario Bros. 2, to make it a little bit of a throw back to that game, they are having it set up that the playable characters will be Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach along with their respective abilities such as Toad's Super Speed and Peach's Hovering. Also there was one more major addition that they announced as well, Mario will has a new confirmed power-up, when a ? block is hit and reveals a Bell, Mario has a new Cat power up. The next one I want to mention is Super Luigi U. This will be released on the WiiU and the dates are confirmed for June 20, 2013 for Download priced at $19.99 and for the Packaged Copy August 25, 2013 priced @ $29.99. This game will be like it's predecessors of the Super Mario Brothers Wii and WiiU as a side scrolling game. But, unlike the others, Luigi is taking center stage. Also will introduces Nabbit, who is immune to the enemies and cannot pick up power ups. This is part of the "Year of Luigi Campaign". However, if you are going to Download it from the Nintendo eShop, you must have the Super Mario Bros WiiU game.

Now the big news you all been waiting for is Pokemon!!!!! Pokemon X & Y has also have had an updated trailer this morning. The new Trailer welcomes us to the Kalos Region (based off of Real World France), announced two new Pokemon Vivillon (Bug/Flying Type) and Noivern (Flying/Dragon Type), along with introducing the new Fairy Type (and it was revealed to be Super Effective against Dragon Types), which along with the introduction of the new type finally revealed Sylveon's Type being Fairy. Also joining the Fairy Type pokemon ranks will be Jigglypuff, Gardevoir, and Marrill. It was also confirmed that there will be a new interacting feature called Pokemon-amie. This interactive feature brings taking care of you Pokemon to a new plateau. It looks like it was a throw back to "Hey You Pikachu" and Tomagochis of way back when. Then later on another trailer was revealed for the E3 Announcements for the 6PM PST during the Demos. Which this part showed new game play. Sky battles have been announced (referencing Skyla's battle style in the anime), 3 new Pokemon revealed (Talonflame Fire/Flying Type and the evovled form of Fletching; Clauncher a Water Type; and Skrelp Poison/Water), and along with Horde Battles. Horde Battles will have multiple Pokemon attacking the trainer. Finally Pokemon X & Y's official date has been confirmed for October 12, 2013! New levels are introduced and all over all bringing it to the WiiU was predictible but also for the 3DS which means this is the first time it comes to the handhelds for Nintendo. While the design style will remain as is for the WiiU like it's predecessors, the 3DS Version will bring the game style to Cel-shading (like i is going to be done for the Pokemon X & Y Series). Not only that but it has been revealed that Bowser, Donkey Kong, Fox, Kirby, Link, Mario, Pikachu, Pit, & Samus are all confirmed as returning contenders, they will be joined by 3 new players: Villager from Animal Crossing, Megaman from Megaman, and Wii Fit Trainer from Wii Fit/Wii Fit U. All 3 are confirmed new characters. There isn't any other characters yet to be confirmed, and since both WiiU & 3DS have the use of Miis maybe we'll finally be able to fight as our own Mii :) Meanwhile I'll post the vids here for the Smash Bros. The newest addition to the MarioKart Family will be incorporating features from Mario Kart 7 and it's predecessors and well as a few new ones. This will be including Anti-gravity racing this will allow players to drive on the walls of certain course. This is indicated when the wheels turn in and however on the walls. The next one is new Mobius course. Based on the Mobius strip which looks like the #8 and is the games signature track. MarioKart 8 will also use the Mii-verse to communicate this feature will give you ability to communicate with other players throughout the world as well create tourneys and racing. From the also can create a 30-sec real of the races highlights, and sharing it on the Mii-verse and showing the clips it will called MarioKart TV and watch Past Wins and Losses and see others as well. The controllers will be usable with the gamepad, wii-wheel and wii-mote/nunchuck controllers. The game will be in HD and the date has not been revealed yet.

A FurFright 2013 Update & a Boston Tragedy

Just giving y'all a heads up I gots me a room in the mai n hotel. Def. going to keep posting about the upcoming plans.
Also as you all know about yesterday it was a dark day in the Boston Marathon's history, even more upsetting than the Rosie Ruiz scandal in years past.
In any event, I honestly think we should keep the ones that were injured and in our minds and hearts. Not only that, but even Red Cross Blood Services is going to be helping out by having the donor's blood going to that cause as well. As a Country let's pull together and hope we bring the bastard down to his knees give him his Just Deserts.

Kipcha's Plans for FF this year!
Posted 12 years agoI had a lot of fun at Furfright X (aka Furfright 2012), and I am working on a lot of plans for FurFright 2013, (PTO will be secured as soon as my earliest time available to request it which is June 1. Not only that, but am planning on working on my new badge for 2013 this year not only that but getting my own room this year, but planning to have a lot more fun and being better prepped this year with stuff :3
Among the stuff that's going to be done this year is Kipcha's new Power, I've been able to give him some of Zordon's Powers to access Tommy's White Ranger Powers :p, or maybe some glee stuff!!!!!!! Who knows, Kipcha's never seems to keep ever changing like the wind. So being on the look out for this Kat on the Prowl. And Hopefully get to see y'all at FF this year.
