Hiya folks

It’s a new year and of course there’s new troubles on the horizon for little old me XD

First thing that is in the category of “Yeah… cheers, life” is: My trusty old laptop finally kicked the bucket after roughly 10 years.
A lot of good stuff was thankfully recovered on my backup drive… but I am sad to see it go. It was such a trusty machine, went through a lot of good and bad times with me. It survived 2 Scanner/Printers, the immigration to another country and 3 moves within said country.
R.I.P. Laptop you will be missed.

The second well… I wouldn’t call it trouble… is a bit more darker.
I had a surprising and rather shocking death in my family during the holidays last year. I still try to grasp the whole thing and make peace with it as good as I can, but it is harder than expected.
In my head I’m with my family even though I’m here (I know it sounds weird, sorry ^^; ) and it’s just awkward at the moment for me.

Third trouble is the usual result of a longer absence from the art game: Getting back into shape XD
I will give it my best to get back into a presentable artistic strength so I can upload pics again that I am proud of. In my current style I still see a lot of potential for improvement.
So please be patient with me ;)

Hey everybody

I still exist... kinda XD (the work in RL is a bit of a bitch at the moment)

I have been "offline" because of 2 reasons

1) Like I mentioned, my RL job is a lot of mental stress at the moment and it doesn't seem to stop any time soon. Every day I come home and just feel empty. You know when you try to slurp the last little bit out of a Capri Sun pack? This Capri Sun pack is literally me.
I can't find the energy to pick up a pencil and draw... even if I do have an inch of power it doesn't go past a sketch. It is very frustrating since I got a lot of ideas in my sick little head and they won't come out TAT

2) One of my cats singlehandedly destroyed the old scanner/printer at the end of January. She hopped onto "Old Inky" to reach the window and when she hopped off (because Mommy caught her redpawed doing it OAo), she knocked it so hard against the back wall that I heard it crunch internally. Well... that was a low in a big blow of lows.

But hey, I got a new scanner/printer and hopefully it will be all right from now on *fingers crossed*

Hey ho diggidy, everybody :)

Woah... what a start into the new year.

Battling with the recovery of broken ribs over XMas and New Year and now battling fever, coughing and voice loss.
That's what I call "Sick Start" lol XD

Also, I decided to try some new drawing techniques and new materials this year (I bought me some metallic watercolors :D)
You can look forward to a few new artsy experiments :3

Yay!
After this long search during the pandemic and a lot of the good old N and O
I managed to get a job again :D

This only means that my creative outlet will come a bit short, since this job is full time
compared to my half time job before.
I will not go on hiatus , it just means I will not be posting regularly... or more like
'not be posting more regularly than usual' ^^;

I will not disappear from this page completely
