Random Update + Shameless Bump For Suits In The FFFF
Posted 14 years agoSo I haven't been dead... though my online activity almost attempts to suggest that I have been. I do apologize for anyone who that I may shrug off or may seem like I don't respond, certainly as of late I've been turtle-ing myself in a bit and attempting to keep myself as productive as possible. With starting a small business I've got a lot on my plate right now and I've been sacrificing things like a social life of any sort to attempt to make it work.
As far as the fandom goes, it's been a small part of my life as of late as that kind of gets lumped in with social things. Regardless, I'm always trying to keep somewhat of a tab on whats been going on without getting overly distracted. I really should drag Geo's ass over at some point an do another fursuit video, I still get a ton of messages about the ones up on YouTube and I'm happy to see people are still enjoying the playful banter of Flux ^^
Talking about fursuits, this years FFFF is going on and we are down to the final 16. There are a bunch of well known suits out there each which deserves their own time in the spotlight and it's a a bit tough to have to pick between them >.< I have to give a bump to the cute lil pup Comet though as he is currently battling neck to neck and needs your support! Regardless of your choices you should go and show your support for some of these iconic characters which have themselves a name place in the fursuit community! http://fursuittourney.livejournal.com/

Posted 14 years agoI'll be sure to make a more detailed con report later. For now, I just wanted to say thank you everyone who ended up visiting our table at the AC dealer's room. It was good to see that a decent number of people were interested in the project and we were more then happy to show it off.

FCN Report!
Posted 14 years agoFCN was a blast this year! A lot of friends plus a lot of running around in and out of suit.
- As has been my experience the FCN staff ran a pretty tight ship, though the lack of a zoo for artists was a bit of a let down.
- I went through so many stickers this con, and I saw them put just about anywhere :D
- FCN'ers like to drink, a few of them so much so >.> Super drunk people and Flux in suit don't always mix.
- Thank you everyone who gave their regards about the car accident both online and at the con. It really makes one feel cared about that so many people mentioned it. I still was a little sore when I arrived, but I did a whole bunch of recovering over the coarse of the the con and at this point almost all of he bruising has gone away.
- Longboarding in suit after the parade was awesome, someone people say they got footage of it :3
- I big shout out to everyone who came up and interacted with me in and out of suit. My job in suit is to give people a smile and it's always nice to see that Flux is still well received ^^
- Honorable Mentions -
Sadariuswolf - It was a blast rooming with yah and getting another chance to hang out. We should meet up and do something ^^ With my face recovering perhaps I can finally let you play fair :P
Skroy - I'm not 100% sure what fuels you so much, I can only imagine yourself feeling like a truck hit you at the end of the con. Regardless, it was cool being able to hang out and perhaps might be able to keep up in suit once I get mah dingo :3
Brisky - I saw so little of you >.< You needed to drink more, perhaps roll around drunkenly in suit :D
Mozee - I really wished we could have hung out more at the con, your a chill guy and always have a great sense of humor about things >.> Oh well, there will always be more cons. Until then, wedge like there is no tomorrow.

Posted 14 years agoSo.... yeah, I was traveling down from Cleveland to Columbus and I ended up getting into a crash. It was raining pretty hard and caused someone to spin around to a stop in the middle of the left lane. Another car and I ended up stopping behind them way after it happened, myself pulling into the left berm completely out of the road. However, the guy that was behind me didn't notice all of this until it was too late and slammed hard into the back of my stopped car. >.< It happened pretty quickly, but enough for me to see it coming and get that "aw fuck" moment. >>

Your Thoughts On Second Life
Posted 15 years agoSecond Life has a large user base and I would be safe to say that the largest single group of them being furries. I've certainly spent a number of hours in game playing around with creating objects and socializing, though personally I always end up getting bored with it. But this journal post is not about me, its about your thoughts!
If you actively play second life, have just tried it once or twice, or it never really appealed to you I would like to know why! For example...
- What do you like about it?
- What don't you like about it?
- Where did you find the most fun in the game? Socializing, character customization, ect?
- Do you have any major gripes about the game?
- Are there features you wish was in the game?
- How do you feel about using actual money in the game?
- Did you like the ability to create object? Did you find it hard or easy?
- If you do actively play, how often and for how long?
These are just a few example questions, but please if you want to express your thoughts I would really like to hear. I've would love to get a real good understanding of how people other them myself think about the game. Your answers may help me influence a large scale project that is soon to be announced!

Posted 15 years agoThere were so many people it was good to see even if it was only for a brief moment. I was certainly running around and trying to take in as much as I could having missed most of Friday due to travel and such. It also didn't help that almost everyone left Sunday night! >:| Overall the con was a blast, it just seemed to go by way too quickly.
sadariuswolf Your a really sweet guy, and I'm really glad I took the time to know you better at FF. Your suit looks adorable and you certainly looked happy running around in it every chance you had! I'll have to extract the snuggles you owe me next time :P
Utosa It was a blast seeing yah, and I certainly hope to see you at future conventions. ^^ You know if you have any suit questions you can always hit me up, I'm certainly more then willing to help yah.

First Round Of Stickers
Posted 15 years agoTo anyone who has ordered stickers, I've obtained the shipping materials needed and will be shipping
them out tomorrow morning. I will be sure to also send out each person a e-mail confirming this for
each person's order.
Yesterday the five for five promotion link was accidentally the wrong link, so anyone who happened
to order five stickers at the normal price will be given an extra one in your shipment. The link has since
been fixed.
If you haven't ordered stickers but are interested, feel free to order at any time. At this point I certainly
do not have a shortage of them, though like the cans I can't guarantee that I will have them available
for any period of time or even do another batch of them.
On a personal note, its really cool to see that so many people have been interested in them. I certainly
want to see photos of where people put them! My hope with the stickers is that if I can recoup my initial
costs then I will likely do another run of different stickers or possibly even something more elaborate.
Perhaps people could even share there ideas on what they might like to see!

Feeling Furry
Posted 15 years agoI'm feeling especially furry tonight, I don't know it's a bit hard to describe. A little more in touch with myself, a little more in touch with my fursona. Sad right? O.o
Anyways, I wanted to propose a question to people about this furry selves. With your character, your fursona, your species, what is one of that that you are drawn to, a part that you are proud to attribute to yourself?
It's a vague question, but I'll hopefully clear it up with my own response. One of the reasons I love kangaroo as a species is their tails, there huge tails that stick out and can be thrown around. It's one of those parts that I see as a very expressive part of Flux, something that can really show what kind of mood he is in.
