I have been recently told that traditional is not even worth doing now, since people don't care and even won't buy it. I see digital everywhere, and maybe that's the reason I returned to traditional media. I have been doing digital art for years (not furry) and almost no art for 3 years. But now I just feel attached to all the tools and papers I have at my disposal. I even have a whole chest of drawers only for art tools and can't even fit all in.

What is your opinion about this?

So I promised some art and I did some sketching. I ended up favoring SAI. Unfortunately I ended up with no license and trial expired. On Friday I promise to get it and return to work on my sketches, Unfortunately, I lost my job a month ago and I had insane vet bills to pay. I had over 20 visits at the vets with my aged cat, but finally, she is all fixed. I was scared for her and spent some sleepless nights watching over her. I was ready for emergency any moment. Now I can breathe freely. But the bills piled up and now with excessive free time, I want to use it for something productive. It will be a distraction from the looming stress.

The first sketch is a fox of course. Fox can never ruin anything, right?

I realized I very much don't exist online and maybe I'll say something to those who remember me. Yes I was lazy and barely touched any art since covid confinement. Not that I have not thought about it, but my vegetative state is hard to break. Since my near death experience with asthma and a long recovery year, I have dropped all hobbies except very few. I was trying to make excuses and just felt like sleeping all the time. Maybe I should finally break this barrier and touch gra... paper. I have so many art tools I can use, maybe more than I can ever use. On top I recently flipped my shit and bought new gaming computer and hell, whole setup all around. Now I can even touch my beloved tablet.

I could use recommendation of a software worth using. I don't feel like fighting photoshop lags again. Tho I haven't heard much positive feedback about free programs for pc users. If you have any tips for a person with shaky hands, I am listening.

Another reason why I am thinking of art is that I started a new job after 7 years. It is decimating my brain cells and I need an outlet that keeps me awake but uses different part of the brain. What do you do when your mind just wants to sleep but you want to be productive? I feel like starting being creative again will help me with my caffeine+long sleep addiction. I think I am not that old to need sleep right after finishing at my job.

It's been a while since i passed by this site. Life has been a long experience and the lack of interest in hobbies was real. Four years ago I moved abroad and found a good job but traded it for social life. But now I reached out to my friends once again and found a bit of motivation. I found out, after practicing human drawings, I forgot how to draw antros hahaha. So I shall learn once more.
I now have much less free time but also much more money. Recently bought a lightbox, drawing board, a big bunch of markers, colored pencils, golden paint. About a pyramid of various papers, acrylics, canvas, brushes. Having a sub for photoshop and a professional tablet. And much more. The isolation due to the world pandemic situation left me with too much time for thinking which I intend to spend with some creativity now.
I admit I am no longer a very social creature and rather spend time with a handful of friends or my cats. I guess ppl change.

How about you guys? are you still around? It's been YEARS.

I have left this account for a while and returned, finding nothing really interesting happening or new.


My free time is unfortunately a rare thing for these days and my job became very time consuming. Since there is not much I have to offer these days, I think I can proclaim this account closed :) I have even recently encountered little struggle with my data and lost all my artwork up to this date. So except few pictures in emails, I lost all good resolution files. It is very discouraging to start all over again, so I think I'll keep any future art more personal and unfinished.

So I was moving again. Into my very own flat in middle of bigger city. Now looking for a job at some corp.
Xmas is coming but I don't really have thoughts about it *shrugs*

I am planning to make some more designs for the shop, and already have some ideas.
Anyway right now I don't have a scanner so I assume no traditional art from me for a while :)

I live. It's been 2 weeks since I moved.
I am slowly adjusting to the new environment in highlands and also the terrible weather that claims to be "autumn.
I live with 8 cats now and I am being overly loved so my mornings are rather slow. Petting and feeding all of them takes time !
It will take time before I start making regular art. I don't have big table enough to put even sketchbook on it yet.

Not that anyone talks to me here, but ill be gone for some time till everything is over. Real struggle will start somewhere after this weekend, so I'll finish everything till then.

Not seeing much art from me? well dont panic. It's just because 80% of my art isn't furry related. I am planning on firing up a new tumblr, merging all stuff together. Antro art, commercial art, fan arts, bullshitarts. I may let some ppl who care know where to find me. I am just saying, most art here will probably be just commissions, hence furry is not my main art subject. I got a redbubble account with some antro stuff. I may need some feedback what to make for prints, if there is interest in my art in some fancy design to be actually printed. However very soon I will be able to print my art MYSELF. and by printing i don't mean prints on paper but actual print on things - textile, metal etc. Though all depends on actual demand and my free time.

I will come clear with things once i settle down and get into work. Though furry stuff will be only a spare time matter.
I recently happened to have way too many hobbies and I am lacking sleep XD

Nonetheless, moving is a stressful thing and my always arguing siblings are not helping.
