came down with a stomach bug and Tuesday I got hit with a cold. And being pregnant is just intensifying the symptoms. So I've been couch-nest/bed-nest ridden these past couple of days. Curse my lowered immune system!
I'll be back on once this blows over. And I'm thinking of opening commissions. Like, I've been giving it some real thought. :333
Oh, and Shushums, I have birthday art planned for you but I dunno when I'll be well enough to work on it so it might be delayed a couple days!!!

Posted 12 years agoBack from the con. It was spectacular. I can now say officially I've gone to a con. And now I feel that I am hooked. I would love to go to an Anime con and a Furry con now. But the Furry con, I'd wanna meet up with my friends. I wouldn't wanna go alone.

Posted 12 years agoWe're switching our internet provider so I'm gonna be without internet for about a month, maybe 2. I can still access FA, as I'm currently doing this on my phone. I just wont be able to upload anything.

1. We're remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. We're getting help from my parents, but I am not a home design type person. Lol.

Posted 13 years agoSorry I haven't been a social butterfly lately. I've been sick the past week and just haven't had the energy to be on my computer. I'm on my phone right now, but it can only do so much. Ya know?

New Computer Ahoy!
Posted 13 years agoI got a brand new computer for Christmas. Well, not brand new. It belonged to my friend but since he got a new, state of the art gaming computer, he gave me his old, but still epic, gaming computer. And it has Windows 7!! I am so behind. Lol.
The only downside: my flash drive broke. The lil' black data strip inside fell out, and now the computer won't read it. So I have to go buy a new one, simply to put all my stuff on it. I have no references, no art, no documents, nada. T_T I feel so naked. Ablublublublublublu. Damn you cute, keychain sized 8GB flash drive. You were so dainty, yet so big.

A) I recently started hanging out with old high school friends that were like my best friends in high school. It's so good to see them again and we all get together every Saturday to watch Dr. Who together. :333
B) Birthdays!!! Oh my gosh, I know so many close people who's birthday is this month. My friend, my "sister", my mom, my boyfriend. So it's pretty much like, one important birthday a week!
C) My daddy's getting married!!!! I'm super excited and not only am I a bridesmaid (cuz I'm already super close to my step-mom to be), but I'm actually helping a metric shit ton with all the planning and execution. Bouquets, boutonnieres, music, food, THE CAKE, etc. I have got my plate full.

Ideas for a short comic?
Posted 13 years agoHeyo' everyone. I've encountered a brick wall. I really, really want to start up a comic for this lengthy story I have in the works. The problem is that I need practice.
I can come up with ideas like no one's business, but they're never complete. They have beginnings, or ends, but never everything. So, my proposition to you is this.
What's an idea for a short comic? It can be anything; humor, romance, horror, etc. It'll be about....3-4 pages? I think that's decent in length to start. I'm basically starting from scratch on the comics, BUT I have a basic understanding of how they work. I just need the idea.

Posted 14 years agoHey Everyone! I'm going to do some more requests! I'm only going to be taking 4 though. I know, 4? I'm only doing 4 because the last time I did five, I took forever to do them. So this time, I'll do 4. And if I feel I can do them well and in a decent amount of time this time, I may extend the number. SO, onto the requests:
There are going to be some rules this time around
1. You have to be watching me prior to the post of this journal. I wanna reward people who watch me with free arts. If I get no bites, I may remove this restriction.
2. Just post a link and a vague idea of what you want them to be doing. Like, for example, "Hey Kit, here's my character Sparkle! He loves being adorable and strawberries."
3. I don't care if they're male or female, or both, I can draw any gender. I CANNOT, however, draw porn. Or nudity. So please don't ask for that.
4. I still am not the best artist, please don't expect more than I can dish out. :3
5. If you have any questions, just ask! I'm nice, and friendly, and an all around great person. GREAT.

Posted 14 years agoHow . . . How does one go about starting commissions? Like, does one just start asking for money? Do they have to warn people first? And like, how do they do it?

Posted 14 years agoAlrighty! I'm moved in. Finally. Completely. Moved. Done. Forever. Ok, maybe not forever, but I don't want to move again for a VERY long time.
We've got all our computers set up and the internet nice and steady. I've been messing around on SAI in my downtime from online and I've found some stuff on it that really makes me more confident with my computer art. And when I'm not drawing on the computer, I draw on paper. My traditional drawings are still better, but I don't hate the things I create on the computer, so yayee.
I know I still have those 2 requests left. I'm sorry that like, I'm taking forever. Hey, think of it this way. When I finally do finish them, they'll be a nice surprise. :3 I'll get to them, I promise.
I update my Tumblr, slightly regularly now. But only slightly. I mostly look at other people's tumblrs and like things. But yeah. A lot of the art on there is old, well, not old, but like, older than the past few months.
So my peeps, hope to see more of me! And I'll take requests again, but probably this time, it'll just be "Hey, can you draw my character?" and I won't do specifics. I draw Kit too much, all the time, so having requests will help me branch out and learn to draw anything. Oh! I found a way to draw human noses that I like, so I can do humans (or human faces) now! :333

I'm still working on the requests. I really, really, really thought that I could get them done faster. But I realize now that isn't the case. I'm really sorry to the two of ya'll that are still waiting. I'll try my super, duper hardest to get them out this month.
We'll be moving in October, so that'll free up some time. We're currently packing slowly now so the move won't be too strenuous. I can't take off work for the move, so we want it to be as simple as possible.
I might upload some doodles I've been derping around with as a break in between stuff. Maybe. I wouldn't want anyone to think that I'm putting my stuff before theirs. :(
I made a Tumblr! There's NOTHING on it right now, but I hope to turn it into an art blog. Or something. I don't know, the idea appeals to me.
Well, that's that. I hope everyone had a nice summer and expect art from me soon! :3
