Go to my Da, not uploading to fa-

No I am not stopping drawing. I just use DA so much and rarely this Fa account, not to mention that I don't draw porn either. So from now on I'll be uploading to DA solely. I am back to drawing and uploaded another drawing recently to DA. I will do another drawing sometime this weekend and upload it to DA. So if you like my stuff go watch me there.
I may or may not upload anything in the future here. If someone wants me to draw something I can't stick up on DA then I'll upload it to here instead.

Don't worry folks I'm still here-
Posted 13 years agoNo I haven't stopped drawing again.
The short version is that for a class we have a project and I decided to do mine over a actual drawing I'm going to make. I'm going to get it done by July tenth. I'm trying to get into the rhythm of doing a charcoal drawing once a week, cause I can draw fast with it, and one digital every two weeks preferably.
Also next semester I'm going to start working on my portfolio, so I really need to put my nose to the grindstone and come out with some far better drawings than I have ever done. None of this "15 minute sketches" thing I've been doing. Also the teacher I'm going to have for my portfolio class does not mess around and doesn't pull any punches.
Tl:dr; Still here, will turn out another drawing July tenth.

Back-
Posted 13 years agoThis break was totally my fault this time.
Short version is finished up the finals for my semester and forgot to do anything between semesters. I had a week between semesters and I did have time, but I was half being lazy and half trying to sort out some stuff.
I was totally aware I was being lazy last week. The two weeks before that were excusable cause of my final projects.
However I'm going to get back on track. I should upload a drawing this weekend and get back on schedule of at least one drawing a week.

I didn't get enough practice in, but-
Posted 13 years agoI've learned a fair bit of the mistakes I've been doing.
I was planning on getting a couple hundred sketches in the last week. Yeah needless to say I didn't get that many. I did however learn what I need to practice on and a little bit of improvement.
What I need to work on-
hands
feet
skulls
muscles
The last week I was sketching a fair bit of skeleton drawings and that to relearn the general basics. I'll draw something this weekend and also upload another school drawing then it's back to practice. If I can draw the bones in the hands, feet and skull enough I can improve on it. When I improve enough I'll move onto drawing the bones and then on top of it the muscles. Learning the muscles will take me a fair bit of time, because the muscle structure of anatomy is a fair bit more complex than the bone structure.
So for the time being I'm going to be scaling back from my couple drawings a week to get much needed practice in.
My schedule for drawing is such-
Weekend draw something and upload a school drawing
Next week draw hands' bones, feet bones skulls at least fifty times
Weekend draw something and upload a school drawing
More of the bone practice
Weekend draw something and upload a school drawing
If need be more bone practice/begin muscle practice
Weekend draw something and upload a school drawing
More muscle practice
Weekend draw something
More muscle practice
Weekend draw something
If need be more muscle practice/putting all the pieces together
Weekend draw something
Further tweaking as need be.
After that I'm unsure, I don't plan THAT far in advance for drawings.
As for the number of practice sketches I'll be doing I won't be doing hundreds a week like I planned, cause that's too many. Hopefully a hundred a week sketches, but no promises.

No non-school art upload this week, cause practice
Posted 13 years agoAfter receiving critic that I've been wanting for a while I have realized that I need far more practice before drawing anything anthro related.
What I plan on doing is getting in some serious practice by drawing the bones, muscles, gesture drawings of models. The reason why I'm not going to upload is that I'm going to need to use a reference.
Up until now for humans I've been drawing other people in real life. Also I need to get pony anatomy down pat before making anthros of them.
The reason why I can't upload is that since I'm going to be using references I won't be allowed to upload my drawings cause that would violate copyright. Unlike other people I actually do take copyright seriously.
I will however upload one drawing possibly on friday or such that I worked on as a school assignment.
So yeah it'll only look like I'm not doing anything cause I can't upload my practice drawings this time.
Hopefully I'll be better after putting my nose to the grindstone this time.

Posted 13 years agoI was working on my latest charcoal drawing and well turns out the hobby lobby staff pointed me to the wrong material I needed. So much for colored charcoal drawings that I was planning on doing and now I have to start over the drawing.
I'll upload something next week.

A quick update-
Posted 13 years agoI know I forgot to upload something last week, but I think uploading five drawings this week made up for it.
I might have some work stuff to upload next week as well.
I might draw some more charcoal drawings, but that depends on how long until the charcoal sticks I ordered come in the mail.
