I know some of you out there watching me actually wanted to see new art of Konran, so all I can say is check my latest 2 favorites ^_~

AC started off...odd. The guy who we were rooming with wasn't there when we arrived Thursday morning, and our ride had already parked the car (and promptly vanished) with my clothes/supplies bag...so I was left lugging my backpack (with widescreen laptop) around with a nearly dead phone and nearly dead DS. Thankfully I believe I can say everything went up from there. Most of it is a blur, but that's typical for me as MOST events in my life are also a blur >_>
Thursday highlight was hanging out with  williamyamagoshi,  wolfboyx9 (my fake twin! <3),  JasonMiller, and AJ (dunno his FA). Eventually we hit the dance up and...I actually danced O_O Not something I've ever done before, but I was awful amused by it. Thursday night apparently had the best music, as later visits yielded no urge to dance. Everyone in my room had already gone to sleep by the time we were done dancing and I had no key, so Will and Yuki let me sleep in their bed with them. Thanks again guys!
Friday...well now this is sad, I can't honestly remember Friday. I do know I had fun though :P Actually slept in my own room this time, and when I woke up there was an extra room key for me. Thanks!
Saturday I missed the magic booster draft, which was annoying but okay. It was also attempt number 2 at the dance, which was a bust. There was much alcohol surrounding me that evening though, and more hanging out with above mentioned friends. Eventually I had to head back to my own room, where I promptly passed out.
Sunday was sad, there was getting ready for leaving, and goodbyes to friends that who knows when I'll see again. Maybe at MFF? I'm hopeful at least!

You know, just in case anyone was wondering if I was going. Yep, me and my mate will both be there sometime Thursday and leave sometime Sunday.

So my mate Tomo and I picked the game up yesterday. For a shooting type game (one of my least favorite types) it's actually rather fun! His steam name is LancerMoogle and mine is Konrankemono. We'll likely be playing fairly often...do I have any friends with the game? Fairly certain at least Hazel does ^_^

Subject is my reaction every time I get a new watch. I mean, I get it when a friend watches me, it almost feels like an obligation to watch friends...but what about people I don't know? I'm not an artist, and my commissions come rather rarely, so what inspires someone to watch me? I don't even write interesting journals >_>

Anybody I know getting this game? The SNES game was hours upon hours of amusement, so I had to get the DS remake. So far I've been pleased...but that doesn't really surprise me ^_^;

One problem is it seems in order to play 2-player (Super Star having the "helper" system which is a lot of fun) on anything besides the first (and rather short) level you need to have 2 games...so if I want to do that I have to find someone else with the game...is this possible?

That's what he went by, Mouse. I think his badge said that as well. Anyone know what he goes by on the internet? Or if he's even ON the internet? We didn't get to hang out much, but he seemed pretty cool.

AC is most definitely over. I already said goodbye to my awesome roommates, and am currently sitting in  Metalwoof's room waiting another hour before I go down to  Dineegla's room so we can head out. All in all it was my best con ever (especially for commissions), but there was still some major letdowns. Some people I thought I'd get to spend time with that I didn't, and others that while I got to see didn't seem that interested in me. Saw someone that had been my friend until about a week ago when he suddenly expressed disinterest in being friends. I think my ability to be social was completely burnt out by the end of the con. Ah well, time to head back home and relax before resuming the daily grind again.

I'll be posting my new commissions as soon as I find a scanner. I may have to wait until I go to see my parents since I know my mother has one. I didn't get anything mature, so it should be fine. I got a sketch randomly, and a few badges. Not much, but then it's a lot more than I've gotten at other cons.

EDIT : Someone found it this morning and left it at Con Ops. I have it again and won't be letting it out of my sights again ^_^

and have yet to seem to work up the nerve to talk to anyone. Go figure. Where's one of those super-friendly furs that will just go up and talk to anyone? Or maybe one that cuddles anyone that moves? Heh, ah well, I'm sure eventually I'll find someone that knows me ^_^;

Before the last few weeks I've had very few actual commissions. There was the 2 I got from Rozga at a local furry event last year, the badge I obtained at AC last year under a different name, and a badge I've never scanned at last year's local NYE event...that's it. I managed to obtain 2 really nice gift/prizes from  jjmrpg04 and  eclipsewolf and there's another prize out there somewhere that I never saved because I look too much like a fox...but now I've picked up 3 commissions and fully intending to at least get more at AC.
Should I really be spending money like this? ...yes! They always make me happy to see and I can't wait to get more, but I'm trying to be careful about it, only commissioning artists I think are awesome but are undercharging ^_^; No $60 commissions for me, thanks. I'll take my $10 sketches, $10 badges, and at worse a $25 badge that are all totally worth it. If any of the artists I recently commission read this...thanks for being both awesome and affordable :D If any artists reading this haven't been commissioned and are both awesome and affordable...I'm sorry for not reaching you yet. Give me time XD

So after finally getting the ride situation fixed, the room situation found, and everything settled...suddenly Juxx can't go! There went my ride and possibly my room O_o

Luckily  Dineegla had space in his car for me, so now I'll be going with him and  Musclewolf and arriving Wednesday. I'll find someone to crash with Wednesday night I hope, and the owner of the room I was going to stay in before has informed me that I can keep my spot on the bed, meaning I still have a room! He's looking for someone to fill in the other half of the bed, so I may have to share, but that's fine with me.

It's sad that Juxx can't make it, and I would have preferred sharing a bed with someone I could cuddle, but I guess this all worked out in the end....or at least, it has in theory. We'll see what other kinds of drama await me at the con itself >_>

I'm currently scouring the anthrocon forums and LJ, but haven't seen any beds not taken yet. We'd prefer the Westin, but the Omni is okay too really...I just want a bed. Anyone out there know of a bed at either of those hotels that is in need of furs that can pay for it? Neither of us will have that much stuff, and we're clean I swear ^_^;
Edit : I should add, we'll arrive either Wednesday or Thursday (based on when a room is available) and plan to leave on Monday.

I fell asleep driving today on my way home from work (on my way to pull over because I knew I was tired) and my car decided to pick a fight with a street light. It was a mutual KO as while my car took the street light down, it was down on TOP of my car. It's totaled, and I was awoken by the explosion of airbags inside. Injury report : totaled car, burns on my right hand, cuts on my left arm, ticket for "improper lane usage" (we actually shared a laugh with the cop over that), and the heart-pain of losing my favorite vehicle :(

I doubt my next car will be a minivan, and whatever it is will likely be very cheap...I'm going to miss that van ;_;
