Living In Or Near Ohio? Onyxheart Needs A Place To Live!
Posted 8 years agoThis has been passed onto several other places, but if I can give it a little more field depth, it couldn't hurt. Onyxheart is being evicted in eleven days, and needs a new place to live. A more detailed description will be found below. Any help given would be appreciated. Thank you one and all.

Sunday Night Movie Stream: THE MUMMY!
Posted 8 years agoHey everybody, panther here. Looks like both Lani and Riff are out of commission due to illness, so I'm going to be breaking into the reel room, and running their stream while they get well. We'll be taking another week off from the final Season 2 episodes of Stranger Things and the second season of Grand Tour, but there's lots of fun stuff we'll be showing instead. What things, you ask? Let me tell you... :3
This Sunday night, I've got more hilarious fails from the Wipeout television show, I've got Soapy the Germ Fighter from my Rifftrax library, I've got more MXC that you all love... and for the piece de resistance, we're setting the theme of adventure movies for the month of January, and why not commence with a recent... er... example of the adventure genre. The re-re-remake of the classic Universal Monsters movie "THE MUMMY" starring Tom Cruise. Yeah, it's not good at all. None of the adventure movies this month are classics, they're riffable stinkers. So come on down and enjoy the show! See you then!

Sunday Night Movie Stream: LOU FERRIGNO'S HERCULES!
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone, panther here. While Lani and Riff are moving into their lovely new home, I'm going to be sneaking into the reel room, and running their stream while they're out this weekend. We'll be taking a week off from the latest episode of The Man In The High Castle, but I've still got some good things in the works. What things, you ask? Let me tell you... ^_^
This Sunday night, I've got legal pickpockets, I've got horrendous animal mascots, I've got terrible Japanese game shows... and I've got the one, the only... Lou Ferrigno playing the role he was destined to play! No, no... after the Incredible Hulk. Yes, he's HERCULES! In SPAAAAAAAACE! It's terrible, it's awful, and hey... since Lani and Riff aren't here, it's OPEN MIC NIGHT! I can't riff this turkey all by my lonesome. Come on down, turn on the mic and riff right along. See you then!

Chalk Up Another Year, For Old Man Yote Has Turned 47
Posted 8 years agoOne more year has come and gone, and I've crossed the 47th parallel. Luckily I don't look 47, so I've got that in my favor.
Going to pop downtown and catch Wonder Woman tomorrow, as I haven't seen that yet. Also going to catch a stream or two, and see about getting a birthday pic.
Be sure to head on over to
marbles's page, and wish the bun a happy 37th birthday, as well. June 8th is a special day. ^_^

Posted 8 years agoHold onto your socks, everyone. This one gets a little wild. As always with anything from Tinseltown, everything you read here should be taken with a grain of salt. This story might need to be taken with an entire canister of salt. Here we go...
Back in 1963, a Canadian author by the name of Mordecai Richler wrote a book entitled, "The Incomparable Atuk", about an Inuit who is transplanted to Toronto, and takes on a lot of the mannerisms of people living in the big city. A gentleman by the name of Tod Carroll adapted it into a screenplay, changing a few things including setting it in New York City. Norman Jewison purchased the film rights in the early 70's, and began shopping it around for the next decade, until the actor that Tod Carroll had in mind when he wrote the screenplay, read it over and said yes to the project. That person was:
ACTOR# 1 - John Belushi Belushi first read the script in 1982, and loved the part. The studio said yes, the actor said yes, and they were set to begin production. Only one little thing got in their way. That's right... Belushi's drug overdose in 1982, just a couple months after he read the script. The film languished for six years in development hell until someone else took an interest in the part...
ACTOR# 2 - Sam Kinison Kinison accepted the role in 1988, and right as filming was starting, appeared on the set and demanded creative control as well as a re-write of the script. The actor and producers tussled into either Kinison was fired, or he quit. Both have been stated. But four years after he left the project, Kinison died in a car accident. Another six years went by before a third actor was introduced to the cursed script. That actor was...
ACTOR# 3 - John Candy John Candy read the script in early 1994, and expressed interest as well. But like Belushi, several months after he looked through the script, he died... this time of a heart attack, becoming the third victim of the Atuk Curse. You'd think by now that this killer script would be locked away in a vault somewhere, never to be read again. But you'd be wrong! Because it was right before John Candy died, that he talked over the script with someone else...
ACTOR# 4 - Michael O'Donoghue The veteran SNL writer was shown the script just before Candy passed away, and towards the end of the year, he also died, this time from cerebral hemorrhage. There was a rumor that Mr. O'Donoghue recommended the script way back when to Belushi, so his participation might have started even earlier. The script went into dormancy for a few years, before a new actor became interested. That actor was...
ACTOR# 5 - Chris Farley Chris was very interested in the role, and was about to accept it, when he passed away in 1997 from an overdose of opiates and cocaine. You would think that setting fire to the script would be the only reasonable option at this point. But a final actor read the script and invoked the curse, that actor being...
ACTOR# 6 - Phil Hartman This one supposedly has the shakiest connection to the Atuk Curse, but apparently Phil was shown the script by Chris right before he passed away, suggesting that Hartman might be interested in a supporting role. However, several months later, Phil Hartman was gunned down by his wife, Brynn. There have been questions as to why she did this, but a certain Inuit screenplay might have something to do with it.
So there you have it. Hope you stuck around long enough to read all this. Six famous Hollywood actors/writers have fallen victim to the Atuk Cursed Script. United Artists still retains the screen rights, so someone with a death wish might pick this up in the future. Hopefully for their sake, they'll pass it by and let it collect dust in some movie vault somewhere, never to see the light of day. Funny thing is, it's not supposed to be a really funny script. But it definitely had the last laugh with a bunch of famous Hollywood actors.

Patreon News!! (Not Mine, But Someone Important!)
Posted 8 years agoAs much as I would love to announce an X-rated Patreon comic based on the sexual shenanigans of one big-chested mouse, I do have another announcement to make regarding someone you all know and love.
lei-lani is discontinuing her own Patreon, and throwing her support behind Dark Blue Workshop, which is owned by her friend and artist
abluedeer He has decided to help bring Leilani to life in a webcomic format! So we're going to have to best of both worlds, the beautiful, erotic art of
abluedeer combined with the erotic writing and storytelling talent of
lei-lani. A potent duo, to be sure.
Unfortunately, they're going to need your help. Their project "The Depths" can't get moving until a milestone is reached, and that milestone is the amount of $300 per month. They've already achieved halfway with $159 per month, so that leaves just $141 per month to hit that mark.
We can make this happen! I'll also be donating to this project as well, and I really hope that some of you will want to as well.
abluedeer is working on a few sneak-peek sketches/art, and we're designing a logo for the comic, as well as advertising. We just need a little more financing.
If you enjoy the idea of Leilani in her own comic book, getting into action adventures and erotic adventures right out of the old "South Seas Stories" and "Seven Seas" comics of a bygone era interest you, then this will be an opportunity you will not want to miss! This is now going live, so check it out!

Saturday Night Lei-Lani Stream: WESTWORLD EP.8 & METAL MAN!
Posted 9 years agoWe're getting back into the flow of watching really, really, really awful movies, and boy do we have a stinker lined up for tonight. A furiously bad rip-off of Iron Man from the people who brought you absolutely nothing of any value ever, so here comes the ludicrously schlocky ***METAL MAN!!!* It's terrible, it's horrible, it's a bad actor in a cheap knock-off Iron Man suit. What more could you ask for?
Also, we'll be seeing episode #8 of WestWorld, so quality television before the main event. Come on down, and have some fun!

Attention Fursuiters, Fursuit Designers And Cosplayers!!!
Posted 9 years agoAs well as interested parties who might be able to assist me. I am now hooked and hooked hard on my wonderful panther fursuit, but I need some much higher quality curls to make this as complete as it can be. I used some $15 eBay costume curls at Further Confusion, and while they got the job done for the most part, they're not ones that I want to wear moving forward if I can help it. I've been told that fox fur might be the way to go, to make higher quality curls. But hey... at this time, I'm willing to listen to any reasonable ideas on how to get my panther fursuit curls looking similar to some of the ones I've commissioned in my pictures:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13340926/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21974401/
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21384438/
Yes, I know this is going to cost me. A LOT. But like they say, if you want something done right, you generally have to pay for it. This is nowhere near my fields of expertise, so if anyone has any suggestions on where I can go to make/find a head of hair like Aidan should have, I'm all ears. Thank you for your time. ^_^

Arrival and Departure:
Our small party will be arriving on Thursday morning, provided we can get said-party out the door on time. I have plans to get everyone to tour around Japantown after hotel check-in, because we never made it there last time. Sunday morning, I will be bailing early, because I want to get to Seaside, Oregon on Sunday morning. So that means getting to Salem late Saturday. Much driving to be had.
Staying at:
The main hotel. San Jose Marriott.
Mode of Transportation:
Toyota Corolla down from Spokane to central California, and staying with
senshifox until we head up on Thursday.
Room Share:
senshifox and I are splitting a room, while
kitsumez is coming with waifu and young one.
Major Plans at the Con:
This is where it gets fun. If you catch a black feline who looks suspiciously like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21276777/ except with curls, that will most likely be me. Or a devious impostor. But most likely me. So yes, I'll be fursuiting for at least two days. I will also be attempting to run a small miracle fruit event probably Friday night. If you're curious about miracle fruit, send me a note and I'll invite you in. Other than that, I'll probably be hunting for birthday gifts for
lei-lani and trying to snag a commission or two. Hitting a good number of panels, and indulging in some delicious San Jose food. A lot of In 'N Out burgers.
Whom I Will be with:
kitsumez and
senshifox and a few others.
Fursuit(s):
Did I mention... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21276777/
Attending Parties:
I'm always up for them. Just a question of finding them.
How best to find me:
If I'm not in fursuit, I can usually be found in denim shirts and jeans. I'm easily poked with Skype, as well.
Stage Performance:
Yeah, I don't think so. Though I might actually make it in the audience for once. I always seem to miss it, doing other things.
Drink:
I have an emergency supply of Mott's apple juice. I prefer to keep my energy drinks as healthy as possible.
Hugs:
Ask first, but definitely yes.
Talk:
You bet!
Art:
I will defer to my two compatriots on the art scene. In fact, if you're looking for con badges, both of them will be doing them at con.
What is your gender?
Male
How old are you?
46 years old, but you'd never think I look it. Most people think I'm late 20's, early 30's.
Can I touch you?
Please ask first!
Can I buy you lots of drinks?
Absolutely, as long as they're non-alcoholic. Me and alcohol do not get along under any circumstances.
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Most definitely, but please ask first.
How tall are you?
5' 10"
You look pissed off out of suit can I come up to you?
The odds of me being pissed off out of suit are next to slim and none. But yes, you can come up to me.
Are you nice?
I'm one of the nicest people I know.
Are you cliquey?
I don't think I've been in a clique in my life.
Can I stalk you?
I'm not sure why you'd be stalking me, but I have a couple with me who might take it the wrong way. Being up front and direct will get you in better sway. ^_^
Do you like parties?
Invite me and you'll fine out!
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Either Koyote or Aidan is perfectly reasonable. When I'm in fursuit, it's usually always Aidan.
Are you fursuiting?
I may have mentioned this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21276777/ Possibly.
Can I ask ya to dance with me during the dances?
I am... intrigued about going to the dance in fursuit. Very intrigued. I can be easily persuaded.
Can I buy breakfast, lunch, or dinner sometime?
I would never say no to this.
Can I take a picture of ya?
Click away!
Would ya like to get a commission done of ya?
One of the first things I do once I muscle my way into the dealer's den Friday morning.
Further Plans?
I can't go this year, but I am starting to make plans to attend Anthrocon in 2018 for the very first time.
kitsumez Arrival and Departure:
Our small party will be arriving on Thursday morning, provided we can get said-party out the door on time. I have plans to get everyone to tour around Japantown after hotel check-in, because we never made it there last time. Sunday morning, I will be bailing early, because I want to get to Seaside, Oregon on Sunday morning. So that means getting to Salem late Saturday. Much driving to be had.
Staying at:
The main hotel. San Jose Marriott.
Mode of Transportation:
Toyota Corolla down from Spokane to central California, and staying with
senshifox until we head up on Thursday.Room Share:
senshifox and I are splitting a room, while
kitsumez is coming with waifu and young one.Major Plans at the Con:
A lot of In 'N Out burgers.Whom I Will be with:
kitsumez and
senshifox and a few others.Fursuit(s):

A 3D Artist You Need To Be Watching
Posted 9 years agoIf you've read my past journals, you'll know of my unabashed love for 3D movies. Well, 3D anything, really. And there's a new artist on FA that's interested in making 3D stereoscopic images out of 2D artwork. He goes by
3Dconfursion and he's got some
rajii images posted that looked pretty tasty with my red/cyan glasses I've got.
Well worth a look, go check him out!

There And Back Again: A Panther's Journey
Posted 9 years agoMuch thanks to everyone who suggested ideas on helping me to calm down for my pair of flights to Portland and back. Through the liberal usage of music on my S7, and some rhythmic breathing, I managed both flights without any great degree of difficulty. In fact, I can now say that I'm reasonably certain that I could take a flight just about anywhere in the continental United States, and not have too much trouble. Still not out of the woods yet, as one of the reasons I want to work through this, is that my mother is gifting me a round-trip plane ticket to Tokyo when I complete my accounting degree. 11-12 hour flights to Japan and back are a little tougher than a trip and back in the United States. However, I think that with another flight under my belt in the future, I should be able to make that trip to Japan and finally cure my silly anxieties once and for all.
Oh yes, also learned a valuable lesson about chewing gum to help your equilibrium. If you're not an avid gum-chewer before the flight, you're going to have a sore jaw the next day. Learned that the hard way. :P

Help For An Anxious Flyer
Posted 9 years agoOn Wednesday morning at 6:00 am, I'm going to take a flight from Spokane to Portland, and then back again in the evening. It's probably going to be only 45 minutes air time, but my body is giving me butterflies like nobody's business. I didn't use to have this problem, but I have it now and I can't seem to get rid of it. When I was 14, I took a flight to Washington DC. When I was 16, I took a crazy long 18 hour flight to Australia. When I worked for the federal government in the early 2000's, I took a flight to Germany and then back home. I didn't have issues with flying then. But when I came back from Japan in 2006, all of a sudden, I had flight anxieties.
The rational mind understands that this is silly and stupid and I shouldn't be feeling this way. I've logged at least a dozen long flights in my younger days with no problem. Yet I have it now. My body is refusing to listen to my rational mind, and it's bringing out the butterflies.
I've been talking with
lei-lani last week, and she's offered some helpful suggestions for getting past these two flights. But hey, more help the merrier, right? For those who have issues with flights, or those who have no trouble at all with flying, I would truly appreciate your suggestions on what I can do to help me relax come Wednesday morning. Since these are flights for work, I'm stuck going through with them.
Thank you.

*** Message From LeiLani *** Still Without Power!
Posted 9 years agoI am sorry to report, that while utility crews move ever closer to her house, the situation has not changed and she remains without power. They were supposed to fix things by 6:00 PM tonight, but now it looks like they might not have things up and running until 12:30 PM tomorrow. Fortunately, someone came by with a bulldozer, and removed the tree blocking their vehicle, so they were able to get out and get some necessary things done. For now, though, she is still waiting for crews to fix their situation. I'll update if and when things change.
*** Message From LeiLani*** Otter Power Outage!
Posted 9 years agoGood morning, everyone! I have been asked by everyone's favorite h'otta
lei-lani to put out a message concerning her present status. Due to a major storm in her city, she is presently without power and might not have power restored again until perhaps tomorrow. To make matters worse, the storm has downed a tree across her driveway, blocking her car and preventing her from leaving until the tree has been removed.
riffraffcat is attempting to remove the tree, and free her car from the blockage. I'll be updating with any changes I hear. Until then, she's out of power until at the very least, 10PM tonight and maybe until tomorrow. Thank you.
