MOVING OUT and WORN OUT

secondly I'm sure many people are wondering why there has been no art. Well I've been feeling fairly worn out lately from a bunch of things. I want to get to art but I'm having trouble finding time and motivation. Please go to the new page and send me your requests there if you still want them, I'll also be doing a couple promotional pics if i get the chance fro those who don't read journals.

Everything i've read of his has been amazing and really genuinely enjoyable.
And yeah, i am plugging for him. It's cos i think he's good.
kogie if you chose to, enjoy :3 they're really worth it, and he's fairly flexible about content and editing and all that.

Not jus cos he's my mate, the work he did for me was before that.

A part of the triangle <3
Posted 15 years agoSo, kogie and jakedusky invited me into a Yahoo conference just now.
Then invited me into their lives. I'm part of a triangle relationship with them now, and it feels... wonderful. I guess they felt that all of my work warranted it, and I'm beyond happy and honored. Mind you, my part is long-distance for now in letters after they lose their internet, which may have just happened as I'm writing this.
I wanted to announce it because it's important and amazing. They will likely be out of contact for a while, so I can relay messages in letters for the time being.
Just... wow. I love you guys, and thank you.

He helped me through the death of my closest friend
and my separation with the love of my life,
He helped me to understand my sexuality and be comfortable and open about it
and he's been there in general for me through a lot, so in giving back to him I've found a place with him. Not as a lover, I WILL NOT impose on his relationship. As his loyal pet and friend.
We had been bouncing the term "pet" around for a week or two, and tonight I willingly and willfully took a place as his pet in an RP, and with his pass I will be his pet until he release me or come whatever may. He takes amazing care of me and has seen me through one of the toughest times I have ever had. I think that qualifies him.
So I'm just making it official and announcing it. I wanted to make some real monument to it, so there it is then.
To those close to Kogie that i know:

Quick FAQ:
Why offer commisions AND requests?
-Simply because I think only offering commissions is stingy for my skill level, and i love doing art, so why limit myself and those interested like that.
Why is a commission better?
-I'll do it within days, not weeks, guaranteed. I won't limit the changes the commissioner can make. Finally, you get more. Full color, shading, background, more than 2 characters if you like.
Why are requests only scetches?
-Because doing 5 or more beyond sketches is too much for me to handle in a timely manner.
Can I get a request colored or inked?
- Maybe, but only up to flat colors. If you want colors, it will be an on-the-shelf thing for me to get to if I have the time. Mention that you might like to see it colored and I'll put it on as a "when i can get to it."
Now for the details.
Commissions:
I take 5 at a time.
Picture:
3 Dollars for one char fully done and shaded
50 cents for a drawn background, simple backgrounds, ie: color pattern, photo, or wallpapering are free.
25 cents per additional character
I am willing to negotiate with you, so if you think what you want will be too expensive, talk to me about it.
Animation:
3 dollars for scetch anim, single loop
5 for complex loops
50 cents for background and per character after 2 characters
again, negotiable if it gets silly.
Other types of commissions like badges or avatars are in the works.
Requests:
I take 10 a list, with up to 5 spots reservable for the next list. They are sketches, I had to make that change because of time and effort issues with full lists of colors.
Not to say colors are impossible on these, it depends on me having the spare time to do it. Mention that you would like color and I'll see about it when I can.
Trades:
Always interested, I take 5 at a time.
Anything else you want to know or think I should add to this, please let me know.

After 5 of the happiest years of our lives, Krys and I are separating. It's been wonderful, and we're not mad at each other or bitter. The spark between us seems to have gone out and we've decided to go our separate ways, remaining in contact and as friends. I can't explain how I feel. More than anything I'm sad we're splitting up and sorry that it ended so apathetically and that it ended at all.
Seeing as she is half of this account's name, and that she was also most of my reason for creating it, I'll be making a new account and moving to it when the next registration cycle comes up, hopefully not in too long. If you want to follow me and be in contact with that account, simply communicate that interest with me in any form and I'll make a list of people to get into contact with there.
The name for that account is going to be Itullo. It's not up yet because FA isn't taking registrations now. RECENT FINISHED art will be posted there. Ask about a fav piece of yours if it doesn't fit that criteria.
This is how the switch is going to work: I'll make it soon as I can and start linking up with people there. I'll finish requests I have and they will be posted both here and there if I get that account registered before then. After all of that is in order here, I'll make the full switch.
Another major change is that... well... I'm gay now. Some people called me Bi before, and here I've held that I'm hetero, but the reality is that I really was gay with one exception - Krys. Now that her and I aren't partners anymore, I can and should admit it. I simply find the male form and possibilities for physical interaction more appealing. I'll also be more free and open about that and not feel nervous about faving and watching artists I like.
Basically an addition to this ^ is that I'm making my own fursona(s) (you'll see what I added the "s" for in a little while) available to play with in my art and others. I'll also be making a change in fursona, but that's what the new account is going to be anyway.
