Posted 9 years agoFunny mistakes
Posted 9 years agoProbably the funniest mistake in furry art is spending a lot of time coloring a character's fur, face, etc., but then forgetting to color his clothes, giving the appearance that he is clad in the purest immaculate linen raiments, like unto an angel or w/e.
BABSTREAM tonight!

And I don't like to get political
Posted 9 years agoWhich is why I'm limiting it to tonight.
Seriously, do NOT support that asshole
Posted 9 years agoI'm seeing a few people I follow on here apparently thinking Hillary is worse than Trump.
No.
NO.
No way in HELL.
Trump and Pence are pieces of shit who will hurt people if given the chance.
You think Hillary Clinton is bad? Congratulations, you've apparently forgotten how the Republicans have been smearing her for decades. Rupert Murdoch thanks you.

Do not support Trump
Posted 9 years agoIf you support Trump you are completely delusional. He is BAD for America. His running mate is BAD for America.

Spurious comment notification
Posted 9 years agoI have no comment notifications on my control page, yet there's a "1C" link at the top. Could someone please write me a comment so I can see if "Nuke comments" will clear it out?
Precisely one thing in "The Secret Life of Pets" amuses me..

Random Zootopia observations (possible spoilers)
Posted 9 years agoThings I've noticed on repeat viewings:
Of course Judy calls Nick "articulate"; compared to Gideon Grey, he's very articulate.
Not only does Nick go to Tundratown to make the pawpsicles, he goes to Sahara Square to melt the Jumbo Pop in the first place.
I love the shots where you can look above the buildings of Little Rodentia and see the huge skyscrapers of downtown Zootopia looming in the distance.
Emmitt Otterton has a Mousetercard.
I also love how the howling scene is funny, then dramatic, as Judy & Nick sneak along the bridge in the dark, stormy night, over the rushing waterfall, under the sustained howls of the timberwolves.
Clawhauser mentions he's being transferred downstairs "by the boiler". That's Bellwether's old office!
As a typical cartoon thing to help audiences relate better to the animal characters, they all have humanlike eyes. Except the sheep henchmen (henchrams?), who have *almost* humanlike eyes, with the pupils stretched out horizontally like an actual sheep's pupils. But only the henchrams; not Bellwether, and not Judy's lamb friends in the beginning scenes.

Posted 9 years agoGuess what! I finished the Midwest Furfest 2015 diary! Journaling about it now in case FA's latest bout of downtime made you miss it. I drew four new pages, making the thing a total of 18 pages long.
You can start at the first new page (page 15): http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19263195/
Or catch up from page 14: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18934267/

SOMEONE REMIND ME

They found otters on Mars!
Posted 10 years agoAt least I think that's what they said on the radio; I was only half-listening.
Isn't that cool, though? Just imagine how adorable they must look, scampering around on the red Martian soil!

FE diary update: Rest of diary posted!
Posted 10 years agoGood news, everyone! I finished posting my Furnal Equinox 2015 diary!
If you've read what I posted so far, start reading here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16506074/
If you haven't, start reading here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16498402
Actually, you might want to start at the beginning either way, because I also finally had the clever idea of putting in photo links! That is, links to Twitter posts with photos I took during the trip. I put photo links on the new pages, and went back and added photo links to some of the pages I posted yesterday. So go look! And enjoy.

FE diary!
Posted 10 years agoRemember two months ago when I went to Toronto for Furnal Equinox? I started a cartoon diary of that trip... and I've finally finished it!
I want to scan it all at once, which is why I haven't started scanning it yet. You'll start seeing it in a couple of days!

I forded a mountain stream...
Posted 10 years ago...to see if putting the word "stream" in the subject line is what makes the journal notification get that highlight that's used to mark stream announcements. It's a cool idea! But I wonder what triggers it. Is just putting "stream" in the subject line sufficient?
DAMN FURRIES! :}
