But seriously I just wanted to update this thing. Also I guess I'll try to be a bit more active from now on, even if I end up uploading mostly sketchy things. =p

Contest thing
Posted 13 years agoI thought of doing something that might be fun, it would be a little contest where I put a link to a simple web game and give a few days so people can try to get the best score. Winner would get a colored picture, 2nd and 3rd place would get sketches. Might even give an extra one to a random participant. You know just to promote some healthy competition. :>
Would anyone be interested in this? =p

It's driving me mad. D:<

Exchanging Stuff for Games
Posted 16 years agoYes i know that sounds retarded but the idea popped in my head. The thing is, currently i'm unable to receive any money, but right now there's this huge sale on steam with lots and lots of games at discount prices, so i'm just throwing this out here, would someone be interested in gifting me games in exchange of art?
There are currently games ranging from 1.99$ to 14.99$ and some more than that, but most of them around 4.99$.
So it would be like this: i put a list of the games and the prices, you chose one to gift me and i do something according to the price of the game, like say:
$1.99 game = Bust lineart
$4.99 game = Bust lineart and flat colors + icon made from the image
$9.99 game = Full body lineart and flat colors + icon made from the image
Higher than that would include things like background, shading and that sort of things.
Examples:
Lineart: http://i763.photobucket.com/albums/.....aggo/HopeL.jpg
Flat Colors:http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2823001/
Simple shading with simple BG: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3043324/
Not so simple shading and BG: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2726497/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2977012/
So what do you think? Crap idea?

Shattered Horizon
Posted 16 years agoI've been playing a new game lately. No it's not Modern Warfare 2, as much as i'd like to play it i have no moneys. 8..(
Whatever, i found it a week ago, i had seen the banners for the game floating around steam for a couple of days but i didn't really care too much about it, but my curiosity peaked and i proceeded to do some research and oh lord, it was awesome. Actually after just watching the trailer i knew this was something else, so i spent the few riels i was saving for L4D2 and bought it.
I don't regret it a single bit.
As for the game, it is a FPS of course, but with the novelty of being base around zero G, it can be a bit overwhelming at first because you have absolute freedom and you can flank your enemies not only from the sides and behind, but from above and beneath! How cool is that. Yes there's only one weapon, but it's more in the style of the Metroid games, the standard mode is an assault rifle with 60 rounds, you can use a sniper mode which fires 10 rounds at a time, a grenade launcher with 3 types of 'nades and an instant kill melee attack. All feels very balanced and just right.
The story goes like this: In the future the humanity returned to the moon to perform mining activities, but a terrible accident occurred and a good chunk of the poor moon exploded and the remaining debris formed a ring of meteoroids and rocks around the Earth, known as the Arc.
It is now the duty of the International Space Agency's astronauts and scientists trapped in the now destroyed International Space Station to capture the culprits, the guys of the Moon Mining Cooperative. They find themselves at risk of serious charges for their nasty ways, and they won't go without a bloody fight. (I always wanted to say that 8D)
That's pure and unadulterated quality material there. The thing is that game is multiplayer only, so no single player campaigns or stuff like that. But what do you expect for only $19.99.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so a video must be worth a million. And two videos is worth awesome.

Mind you, the game is very demanding and a "decent" PC is required, the minimum requirements are an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT, 2GB RAM and Windows Vista or Windows 7. XP is not supported. For AMD and ATI requirements you can check the main website: http://www.shatteredhorizon.com/sup.....erequirements/
AND the best thing is that i have 3 guest passes available, so if anyone is interested tell me and i'll give you a pass for full 3 days of space goodness.
Holy holynness, did i just type all that!? A new record for me. 8D

So my vision sucks
Posted 16 years agoI thought i had pretty good vision, until i learned that i have slight color blindness.
http://colorvisiontesting.com/online%20test.htm
I have shown that test to a few people and they all seem to see everything perfectly and i can't see crap. :|
Isn't it fun and kinda weird that what you think is normal may not be so much for someone else? The so called reality is different for everyone. It must be pretty though for people with severe color blindness problems.
But it's really just a minor thing so i don't worry about it.

The world needs you
Posted 16 years agoThe horror
Posted 16 years agoI'm having some problems with my pc, it started acting weird when i pressed keys on the keyboard, this happened before but it mysteriously went away, well it came back yesterday and every time i pressed a key the pc would go into stand by mode. :/
I had to format the thing, and it was painful because i had 2 OS', a bunch of programs and games that i'll have to reinstall. It seems like the problem is gone for now (knock's on wood*, the heck with knocking i'm punching the freaking desk)
Sleep, i need some sleep. =o=

8 Months =(
Posted 16 years agoThe 7th season of 24 ended this week, it was a very good final, but now i have to wait, wait and wait until season 8 starts in January 2010...
I hate waiting.
I bought CS:S a couple days ago, and i'm getting my ass whipped, i suck at that game (for now) but it's really fun, even if it's 5 years old it still kick's ass. It complements my other pc shooters. If im in the realistic mood i can play Insurgency, for a mix of realistic-arcade i have CS:S, TF2 covers the arcade end. And for the zombie killing moments i have L4D. =)

Posted 16 years agoThere's gonna be a free to play this friday for L4D w00t! I have the game already preloaded and ready to be played. The bad thing is, it's only one day, i really hope they discount the price the rest of the weekend though!
