I know I don't often make journals about my health unless it's seriously affecting my release schedule, but I feel that I'll need to to apologize in advance for my potentially unfavorable behavior that will be prominent this week and perhaps this month.

I had 4 root-canals today, with more root-canals scheduled in a couple of weeks. I got T3 to help with the pain but I still hurt enough to rip peoples heads off if they give me even the slightest excuse to do so.

Also to top that misery I'm on a squishy / mushy / none spicy / warm (because too hot and too cold will cause pain) food for 2 weeks (and possibly 2 weeks after cause that's when my appointment for my next visit is)

So yeah, combined all that with me already being in pain from the arthritis and joint pain that makes me have to use a wheelchair, and you have nothing but a recipe for disaster.

I hope to god I don't lose too many friends and fans from the inevitable arguments I'll be in this month. Please don't hate me... if I say something mean it's the pain talking... and it is exceptionally LOUD this month x.x

This project will start off small, but has the potential to grow should things go well.

First off I would like to explain my reason for starting this new project up when I already have so many to work on. For those who are unaware, my health is conflicting with and compromising my current projects, and if I wish to continue working on my comics and stories I need to seek out help to do so, as I can no longer work on these projects alone. Before I throw my current projects into a 'group' formula I want to test it out first, to see if I can in fact get used to working in a group with other people (I have a bad habit of wanting to do/actually doing everything myself when working in a group instead of assigning/giving people different jobs to do)

So yes, I am looking for a small team of people to work with. The positions I'm hoping to fill are as follows.

Letterer - Open

Writing Related
Editor - Filled
Beta Readers - (I have managed to fill up all the slots for male beta readers from ages 16 - 35, there are still a few slots for males outside that age range. In concerns to female readers I still need some in all age ranges)

In regards to payment, though it is not something I can do at the start, once the project is more stable and grounded I intend for those positions to become paid ones (aside from the beta readers) Please contact me if you are interested in filling a position or want more details.

For those who want to know more, here is some information about the potential project.

Story – Shera and Knight, the Heroes of Power and Might

For those of you familiar with the ‘Raven Wolf’ universe (more so the novel chapters than the comic) there is a reoccurring reference for a fictional children’s show called “Shera Pegasus of Power” (a shout out to She-Ra: Princess of Power) that will pop up or get mentioned. Many of the younger characters will mention it, as it’s regarded in the books as a popular series among children, while even several of the main characters are fans (Alistair Quincy for one, while Teddy Conner is a fan of the actress who plays the main character) while some characters have direct connections or ties to the series by working on it. It’s a pretty relevant series to the Raven Wolf books, so why not breathe a little more life into that series?

Introducing “Shera and Knight, the Heroes of Power and Might” Though the series title has undergone a slight name change (so it’s not mistaken as a parody) The concept and idea of what the series is in “Raven Wolf” remains the same. ‘An action packed superhero show that is aimed at younger girls that features a female main character that can transform into the powerful hero Shera, a Pegasus with rainbow wings.’

The story revolves around Aurora, the middle Princess of the Sky Kingdom who can transform into Shera, the Pegasus of Power. Sapphire, the niece of the late ‘Knight’ and his replacement, she able to transform into Knight, the Pegasus of Might. And Les, the adopted son of the late ‘Knight’ who is both knowledgeable and skilled in magic arts, proving himself a dependable ally despite his inability to transform. The three of them work together to protect their kingdom from the evil enemy forces that threaten to overtake it.

Some additional notes to keep in mind.

- Due to its connections / depictions in “Raven Wolf” the story will be drawn in the anthro style, with the majority of the characters being based off of grazing/hooved animals.
- This story is a clean story meant for a younger audience.
- The world is lighter take of a medieval fantasy setting.
- The love interest is the same gender as the main character. Female.
- The comic will be drawn as a 'flash format' style.
- I use Clip Studio Paint (ms5) to work on my pages, though more convenient to work in the same program as long as you're able to open/work in a .psd you should be fine.

I'm going to be taking a short break from drawing this week as I seem to have cut my drawing hand on something... and I have no idea on what... the only guess I have is I must have done it when opening the cans of cat food.

Not sure how long it will take to heal, it doesn't seem too deep to need stitches, but it's definitely deep enough to get blood everywhere and cause me lots of pain when I try to use it.

Very sorry about the wait this will cause, hopefully it will be healed up enough for me to work again before the week is over.

The problem I was running into has been addressed and I am now able to colour my comic pages again ^^ The pages that I had previously uploaded in black and white have now been re-submitted in full colour =) So be sure to check them out if you haven't already! (you only would have noticed the black and white pages if you read ahead on inkblazers or patreon)

For those wondering no, I did not manage to get photoshop, though through the suggestions of several recommendations decided to try colouring in Manga Studio 5 (the program I do all the work for the comic in anyway) and it worked pretty well. Though I don't work as smoothly with it as I do with photoshop I'm sure that I'll get used to it or eventually figure it out.

I've unfortunately run into some technical difficulties on my end, I am having trouble obtaining Photoshop, the program I use to colour my images. Clearly, as a result I cannot colour my comic pages.

Now, before anyone PM's with the links for where I can 'you know what' the program for free. I actually do not wish to get my programs through these methods. I believe that if I am asking people to pay me for my art (whether it be by commissions or through InkBlazer) I can damn well invest in the programs I use to complete these tasks.

I know that there are other free - cheep programs that I can use, and yes, when I've been in the position where I cannot use photoshop I HAVE used them. It's just that for me they are more frustrating and tedious than they are help, because I don't know how to use them as well as I do photoshop, and things that would take me a small amount of time to do in photoshop, end up taking me hours upon hours to do in one of those programs (if I can end up doing it at all) Using another program would not only be counter productive, but a waste of my time.

For those wondering exactly what the issue is, I seem to have lost my CS4 disk/key. It was not with the other program CD's when I was gathering up my stuff to re-install, I panicked for a bit because I thought my mom may have thrown it out thinking it was just an out of date driver (to be fair she thought she might have too, because she had thrown a lot of those out). After thinking about it though I realized that because it was such an expensive program, that I put it in a 'special place' to make sure it would not get damaged or lost... and then completely forgot where that 'special place' was over the years... So basically, until I finally find that key (or find a way to hook myself up with Adobe's CC service) my colour pages and pieces will be on hold.

Fortunately, I can still do pages in black and white, so I will temporarily be releasing comic pages in B&W until I have this whole photoshop issue fixed. (for those that read Raven Wolf outside of Inkblazers, depending of course on how long this takes you may not even notice, since Inkblazers is currently several pages ahead of other websites I release the comic on)

As for commissions, I will do up to the B&W stage, but you may have to wait longer for me to be able to colour them (though once I am able to I will do so as soon as possible). For those who have already paid me for colour commissions and are unhappy with the wait, please PM and I will give you a full refund and my sincerest apologizes.

As you may or may not notice, I have been gone from most of the internet. This being because my computer died, and not in the kindest of ways.

Long story short, had to buy replacement parts, and reinstall windows and every program. Good news is that I didn't lose any of my files, bad news is I'm still working on reinstalling and getting everything back into working order.

I'm not finished yet, and still have a few issues that need to be worked out, but hopefully everything will be back in working order soon. I'm very sorry for the wait.

Just a heads up, one of my cats (Gatz) died last night. He's been sick for a while and not getting better, last night though things escalated for him very badly and he didn't pull through. He was scared and in a lot of pain, and I knew he would not be with us for much longer. I tried my best to make him comfortable, and as much as it hurt to see him suffering I was with him until he took his last breath, because I didn't want him to feel alone.

Because he has been sick for a while, having trouble both eating and walking (with vets not helping us, just saying we don't feed him enough even though him not eating was a symptom not a cause... telling us maybe he has an infection somewhere or, well the tests we did were fine, and then sending us home with expensive food) so it doesn't come as a surprise, just know that I'm going to be out of it for a while.

I'll still try to keep to my schedule as usual just at a possibly slow or even weird pace. We'll see how my mood and stress levels (which of course tend to agitate my condition and cause pain flareups) handle the situation.

So out of all the RL drama happening in my life, my arm (and the pain in my joints in general) has very slowly been getting better, so I will be starting up drawing again =) unfortunately I am going to have to very much scheduled and limit my time drawing as to not make the pain worse again, so updated will be slower than usual until I am fully recuperated physically.

I'm very sorry that these long flare ups caused by either my condition or my medication keep happening to me =( I know that you guys look forward to new comic pages from me and trust me with the task of completing your commissions, so I feel pretty bad when I'm forced to take longer than I would like on them or put them on hold because my body will not cooperate with me.

So it's been a while since I've been active artwise, and I apologize for that. Though I have been doing the best I can to get the comic pages out I have unfortunately been falling behind in commissions, asks, livestreams, and well, almost anything drawing related. Heck even in comment responses, hangouts and chats I've been rather absent.

As you may or may not know by now, I get really bad pain flair ups when stressed, and with my bro's cat STILL not breathing properly and only wanting to eat every few days on me it's getting pretty stressful, I will not bore you by going into detail with that, just know that it's getting more and more frustrating by the day because I'm constantly struggling with myself because I don't know if he's fighting to stay with us or if I'm prolonging his suffering by doing things in an attempt to keep him with us.

In addition to that I seem have damaged my drawing arm, though it seems to be doing better now for almost a week I was not able to draw anything without causing me extreme amounts of pain, it's doing a little bit better now, but seems like I can only draw for about an hour before it starts aching again... so yeah, none of my long 8 - 12 hour live streams until that clears up again x.x as well as very few pictures from me for a while =(

On a positive note I have been working on novel chapters during my drawing downtime, so expect to see few of those coming out soon.

On an additional positive note March is almost upon us, meaning it is both the comic version of Raven's Wolf's anniversary, and on the 9th my birthday. So hooray for another mile stone in my work and damn it I'm getting older.

Anyway, that's it for now, wish I had more exciting or positive stuff ta give ya all, but for now I will focus on getting better and doing what I can do.

Small Note: So sorry for being late on this (and my comic pages) I had a small accident involving my old dog and the stairs, that resulted in both me and my dog getting a tad bit banged up (no broken bones or open wounds on either of us though) and because I am still taking care of a sick cat anyway, resulted in me taking a few days off of drawing.

February is well on it's way, and hate the holiday or not with it comes valentines day. That means that the Raven Wolf couple contest is back! (Sorry that I missed holding it last year, 2013 was pretty rough health and family wise so I was unable to host it) Anyway on to the contest details.

The theme of the contest is to find out everyone's favorite Raven Wolf couples, be they cannon or head cannon. It doesn't matter if they are an actual couple in the story, or even the orientation, m/f m/m and f/f are all allowed. One of my cats is very sick (my younger brother's cat actually), and because of the stress of taking care of him while not knowing what's wrong as I watch him get weaker and sicker (all the tests from the vet keep coming back as normal) it is causing a lot of stress, which in turn causes the lupus to flare up badly and cause me a lot of pain.

I'll still be working on comic pages and commissions when I can, I just will not be working as much or as heavily for a while, and not while streaming. Apologies to those who have been kind enough to show up to my streams thus far.

Also, as I was typing this out a received an e-mail from the MM staff asking me not to post pages from wed - fri of this week because of server maintenance that will be happening. So do not take my lack of updates there as a sign that my situation / health has gotten worse.

Anyway, I have survived through Christmas and Boxing Day ^^ I was planning to be back on the 26th but my mom decided that she absolutely needed to rearrange the living-room (this is where my computer is) so my computer was completely unplugged for the few days she was doing that. So I apologize for the lack of comic updates this past week, hopefully I will be able to catch up during the next few weeks. In regards to the novel, though I had planed and tried to get it done by the end of the year, I'm not entirely sure if that is a possibility now (specially since it needs to go through my friend to edit before I post it online) I will still do my best to try and find time to work on that though =)

Holidays went well enough for me, had a lot of fun with the family, but also had a lot of issues with my health that made things not so fun x.x regardless it was still a good holiday, and I hope you managed to get through your holidays as well =) Did you get gifts? This year I got some anime blue rays from my sister (Michiko to Hatchin, really liked that series when it was first coming out, so it's a real treat to get it as a gift) a gift card from my mom, and a subscription to dA from a very kind fan ^^ I've never had one of those before so it'll be pretty neat to see what all the unlocked stuff is (now to figure out how to make my journals look cool)

The entries I've gotten so far for the contest are all great! (It's going to be really hard for me to make a choice) for those of you still working on your entry or are up in the air on if you'll do one or not, the deadline is the end of the month. I did a thing for my fans and set up some decent forums as I was getting a small few requests for one, come down and take a look~

There's still work to be done on them, but for now they should be completely useable (keep it clean though my mother and younger siblings tend to drop by my website). If you have any forum suggestions (or even suggestions for my broken wip website) don't be shy to request 'em.

I was gonna do a livestream today but I'm a little under the weather, so it may be one of those days where I gotta take breaks a lot to lay down or nap... which of course = for a not so great viewer experience.

Very sorry for the lack of commissions, I fell ill and was unable to work on them. I have recovered though and will be accepting some more commission for the month of December. I'll try to make the list a little more simple, as the images with detailed background work are always the commissions that take the most time, so I can only do a certain number of them.
