With the end of the year soon approaching I’ve debating ways I would be able to interact with readers and fans a little bit better next year.

I think it's 6... anyway, from today till Wednesday I'll have guests over at my house, so I will be unable to work on comics while they are over.

There may be a few instances like this coming up in the remainder of the year... since well... holidays as all.

If it reached the point where I would not be able to work on both the novel version and comic version of Raven Wolf and could only work on one, which one would you rather see completed? The comic or the novel?

So as you may or may not know, I've been stuck with a really bad flare up the last few weeks, because of it I have not been able to get any work done as I have mostly been sick in bed (I guess I was able to catch up on some video games though =x). Last week though I was able to get out of bed and onto the computer, talk on skype and even stick around in google hangouts a bit (but never really long x.x) even do a short bit of chapter work on the novel here and there.

This week I want to be able to start drawing a bit so I can hopefully work towards being able to work on comic pages and commissions again.

I was hoping to be able to try out a few warm up sketches first, as I always seem to be painfully poor at drawing / getting back into drawing when I've been on a hiatus from it x.x So I'll be opening up character asks on my Raven Wolf tumblr which I hope to answer via sketches.

This group is planing on reviewing the many titles in the premium and featured sections of mangamagazine with their honest opinions of what they think of each series, with their first episode being my series “Raven Wolf” I was really terrified at first cause reviews in general scare me and I know how picking one of the reviewers can be =x but I was left speechless after listening to the review, in a good way of course.

So there is this game called Pokemon Rumble U (Stop laughing at the bad name and the implications, Nintendo names things as well as Mikey does from Nick's version of ninja turtles), and it's one of those figure + game combos, like Skylanders and Disney Infinity, cept afford able at 17$ for the game and 4$ for each of the figures (as opposed to 100$ for the game and 15$ a figure)

Me, loving figures, games and pokemon. Though this was the best thing ever, even if the game is mediocre and simple, it was still fun enough to entertain me, and would be perfect for me spend my short breaks away from drawing comics. Also I am in need to little figures to fill my desk that I do not have to pay a fortune and a half for. (not gonna lie, some of those skylanders figures are friggen cute too, though I never intend to ever pick up that game so I always have to stop myself from buying the figures)

So after saving up for an investing in a Wii U (the price drop, limited edition Zelda re-colour made it hard to resist, and I wanted to get one anyway in anticipation for Sonic Lost Worlds and the next installment of smash brothers) I popped into the e-store for the system to pick up Pokemon Rumble U, after all, I'm super excited for X and Y coming out soon, and figured this would help with my pokemon fix until those games came out. Now that I had the game, all I needed where the awesome little origami / pixel looking figures. I mean, you don't NEED them for the game, but they certainly let you do more with the game (not to mention they are cute, though some will argue that)

Anyway, when I went out I kept in mind to keep an eye out for them, and I noticed that I could not spot the figures anywhere when I was out doing the shopping thing today. When I asked about the figures at EBgames they did not know what I was talking about and couldn't find anything about them on their systems. When I got home I looked it up online only to find that though the game was released to Canada the little figures that accompany it were NOT released to Canada, and are completely unavailable with no intent on them ever being obtainable here (unless you go on ebay and buy them at inflated prices)

I am so disappointed... and unexpectedly upset over this ;_;

Very sorry about the slow down in pages recently.

Had a really bad pain flare up that has been getting steadily worse, I thought that I was doing okay until I was thrown in an extremely stressful situation yesterday night which caused the flare up to spike, so today I could barely move, was throwing up and could not function from the amount of pain I was it.

So I am going to *try* and take it easy for a while to help recover. I am sorry for the inconvenience this will cause my readers.

Hello everyone, I've got a few things to go over here so lets try and figure this all out.

COMMISIONS
First off, many of you may have noticed my commission slot journal, and that the number of commissions I am doing has increased significantly. (Used to be two when there was a journal, though the slots seemed to fill before I was able to even make a journal entry) If you're wondering why that is it's because I want to start trying help my mom get out of debt faster (you are why I will never own a credit card mom!!) Though she has been in debt for a long time it's really increased this year, as her mom was fighting cancer and mom would fly across the country to help her out or be with her through her treatments for weeks to months at a time. The combination of plane tickets as well as not working because of her long stays has really added up. Two weeks ago Oma (my mom's mom) passed away, and things have been really hard for her, so I want to be able to help mom out as I can, as she does so much for me all the time (I am handicapped, my mom pretty much acts as my aid helping me around the house, taking me places and pushing the wheelchair everywhere I need to go)

It'll be a while before that is brought under control, so I don't know how long my list of available commission slots will remain this large. I would add more if I could, but there's only so much time in a month, and I still have my comic series to work on. NOVEL CHAPTERS
Because of the extra commissions I will be doing, I am once again going to have to put my writing series on hold. (Book 5 why are you being so difficult to get through?)

COMICS
Speaking of comics, I will still be working on them as much as I can. My updates were rather sporadic last month and I appoligize for that, I reworked my comic schedule so I can release them on set dates once again and hopefully keep it that way. I will try to keep Raven Wolf at 3 page releases a week while the others stay at 2, if that does not work out than next month Raven Wolf will be lowered to 2 pages a week as well. I'm trying again to revive Zimiko Knight and The Newlyweds Next-Door, which keep getting plagued with long hiatus's. We'll see what I'm able to accomplish this month.

So I have been getting quiet a few mature or adult commission jobs, and though I have not been uploading them to my gallery I was wondering if I should start doing that?

The concern I have is that I'm worried that if I start doing that people may think that my Raven Wolf comic will have NSFW content in it, and may become disappointed to find none of that when they read through it. This problem perhaps doubling via the commissions that have been requested that even feature characters from Raven Wolf.

I thought over the idea of making another account as to keep this one PG, but I'm not sure if I want to go through the trouble of trying to handle two accounts in each of my galleries. (this would really only affect inkbunny, sofurry, furaffinity maybe weasly. As they are the only sites where I actually get NSFW commissions from, plus I wanna keep my dA clean as that's the one my mom likes to follow my work on) and add all that up and well, it just seems like a lot of unnecessary work.

Hello everyone, as some of you made have noticed I’ve kinda been out of it when it comes to updates, this is due to a combination of being swamped with work not related to (and ultimately getting in the way of) drawing comic pages and being sick.

I have been in so much pain the last few days that I cannot get myself out of bed, and some nights I can’t even make it to my bed because of the pain and I end up sleeping on the sofa., which usually doesn’t help so much with the soreness.

The work that is keeping me from drawing is unfortunately still not finished, but hopefully I will be able to throw more drawing time in there this week than I had last week. Hopefully anyway…

For those waiting on my novel chapters my friend who edits my chapters has been struggling to find time to be able to work on them, very sorry for the wait on those as well.

That’s all I have to say I guess, very sorry for making you all wait on me for the comic pages.

So my medication on switched up again, and if you couldn't tell from my lack of comic page updates it is really messing me up again x.x Updates for the comic might continue to be slow my body tries to get used to the new meds and schedule so I apologize for any inconvenience that will cause.

On an additional note, despite the very poor last few days I've been having health wise. First off I would like to apologize for my lack of interaction in the comments I get on my pages. I just haven't had the time to reply to them all like I would like to. I'll do my best to answer questions that are asked me though, other than that if I can think of a response I can certainly give it. Rest assured though, I read and appreciate every single comment that I get ^^

Onward to the news.

My mom is back home from taking care of her mom for a while, but she’s still ‘on call’ for when my Oma needs her back in Ontario. While she has been here the last two weeks I’ve been catching up on a whole bunch of doctors appointments that I have been avoiding going to myself (I really hate going to the doctors, even though I know that I should with my health issues) as well as we’ve been doing a lot of cleaning, sorting and rearranging (mostly of my office/computer area) around the house, 'cause my dad and bro kinda trashed the place being slobs while she was gone and she’s trying to make it open and more easier for me to get around for when she leaves again, so I don’t get hurt as much as I did the last time. Because of this I just haven’t had the time I usually have to work on my comic pages or other related arts. (not that you would notice too much due to buffer pages, unless you read on mangamagazine where I upload my buffers early, then you certainly see a noticeable wait between pages)

Hopefully though I can get back on track next week, it seems that all the major things have been taken care of so I can start getting back to my slave-drive drawing schedule. I'm also hoping to work toward updating my other comics (something I haven't been able to do for almost a year now...) so do look forward to seeing some of those on the site -if applicable of course, some galleries I'm a member of are very particular to the style / theme of art I upload, so they will not be showing up there if they don't fit the website's criteria-

Also I will be opening up for commissions once more, as mom hasn’t had a job for months now and the bills are really starting to pile up x.x If I do though spots will be pretty limited (1 or 2 openings a month) as I just have a lot of work to do, and I would also like to avoid what happened last year when I has a long list and then got sick for half a year making everyone have to wait a REALLY long time for me to be able to work on their commissions x.x I will increse the number if I feel that I can handle it. What does this mean? It means that I start to get paid for my work on the comic! Not very much mind you, but every little bit helps right? And of course it's better than not getting paid at all. How much I get paid of course depends on the amount of views and traffic my comic gets at that website. So to help generate more traffic there, I've been working extra hard the last few weeks to draw more pages to pit the story further along that it is at other places I post the comic. Don't worry, Raven Wolf will still receive it's regular Wed, Fri, Sun updates here, if I happen to get more than 3 pages done in a week though, only mangamagazine will receive those extra pages. I though this would be the most fair way to help promote the comic on that site, it's a lot more work for me, but I would rather work harder on my part then say limit my updates on here to only once or twice a week or even not posting here all together, it just seems like that would be unfair to everyone that has taken their time to support me here this far =(

March brings about not only my birthday (9th of March) but the Anniversary of when I started working on making my Raven Wolf book into a comic.

It's been two years since I started up my Raven Wolf Comic project, and although I am not nearly as far along in it as I would like to be I'm still pretty happy with what I've been able to accomplish despite the complications and set backs I have run into. Thank you everyone for supporting my worth thus far, lets hope that Raven Wolf will have another great year ahead of it.

So to celebrate both the Comic's second anniversary and as an easy way to give me a birthday gift. I thought I would hold another character poll. (I never like asking for much as gifts, but always love seeing how people react or take to my characters, so your responses really would mean a lot to me)

Though some characters have yet to be properly introduced in the comic yet, here the cast list for Book 1 (first 15ish chapters of the comic) This year voting will be counted a little bit differently. Simply number the characters from 1 through 11, 1 being the highest, 11 being the lowest, and lets see which characters mange to rack up the most points. It makes me sad to announce this, but I will not be working on my writing my novels. It's something I personally don't want to do, but the stress from my current living situation (my poor health, doctors visits, changes in meds, my Oma dealing with her cancer and my mom leaving to go be with and take care of her -she is the one that helped me with my medical complications and aid me in concerns to my limited mobility, so it's actually unbelievably stressful for me not having her here- along with the general stress of everyday life) is really effecting me to the point where I can't write anymore. I've tried to write often, but when I do I just end up staring at my document/paper unable to do anything, even if I know what I want to write. It has gotten to the point where trying to write and not being able to do it was getting frustrating for me and causing even more stress for me, which in turn effects my health, as lupus does not do well with stress. When working on my latest chapter of Raven Wolf, it felt more like I was forcing myself to work on my own writing which I usually love doing, and had a hard time enjoying do it. At that point I knew that something needed to change, cause I have never before not enjoyed writing my own stories.

So after much thinking it over I decided that I would stop writing for now. It won't be permanent don't worry, it'll just be until my living situation gets better for me, and the high stress levels go down as right now juggling everything in my life along with the added drama from the family (which just seems to be increasing by the day) is just getting too much for me especially when it comes to a creative level.

For now I will focus more on my drawing, which is still difficult to do with the stress but not as hard for me to focus on as much as writing is. I don't want to put both things on hold I feel that working on nothing creative will just make my mood and situation even worse, (seems like a bad idea to have no creative outlet I guess), but trying to work on both drawing and writing is just too hard for me to juggle right now. I'm sorry it has come to this and I had to make this decision, but I thought it over a lot and think this is the best option for me at this time.

So I guess this will be good news for fans of my comics and drawings, as I'll be focusing more on those so expect to see more of that. Unfortunately it's bad news for those of you who are following my novel chapters =( and new chapters will be very few and far between, and that's if I'm lucky enough to get any done at all.

So yeah, with that said, expect to see more comic pages and art from me in the future, but aside from the next chapter (which is finished but is currently being edited by my friend to help cut down on spelling and grammar mistakes) more novel chapters will not be coming until my situation changes for the better. I don't know how long this will be for... that all depends on how things turn out.

So things have not gotten much better living situation wise on my end, but my doctor did take me off one of my meds that were making me feel sick and nauseous all day, and after a few days of not being on that thing I'm actually starting to feel a lot better cause well... I'm not nauseous and wanting to throw up all day. With that gone I seem to have gotten my drive for writing and drawing back, so I'll be able to work on my novels and comics again, and I'm pretty happy about that.


Comic Update -
In concerns to my comics (specifically Raven Wolf), in all honestly in my current situation I should have stopped working on my comics, or at least officially announce them as on hiatus. This though is something that I do not want to do, so I have been trying to think of ways I can still release my pages without making myself more sick than I already while at the same time not keeping my readers waiting so long between releases.

A few people have suggested that I should start to release the pages without colour, as to get pages out more often because that step takes so long to do. The idea would be something like, release several black and white pages a week and then once a week colour one of them. Another suggestion to add to that was to colour an extra page if I got a donation for it (lots of bills to cover since mom left to be with her mom while she's dealing with her cancer, that that would honestly help a lot)

It's something I have been considering especially with how my living situation is right now, readers would still get the pages in colour, it would just be drawn out faster then it would be coloured.

The thing about this, is that I would but uploading 'unfinished' pages, as it would just be the line art, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to read (even black and white manga have tones and crosshatches to help visually show the scene / flesh out the characters better, which these pages wouldn't have because they would eventually be coloured. So any feedback in concerns to that would be great.


MMMMM TWO! Contest -
I'm not holding a contest my friend is, though maybe later when my situation is a little less hectic for me. This though is a contest that I entered.

" This is a Single Elimination Original Character Art Tournament for the awesome creators of Manga Magazine! Each contestant will draw his or her character from their own manga(s) and include their opponent's manga character! Manga Magazine users will vote on which artwork is better in the forums! The image should not represent one character completely winning over the other. The winner will move on to the next round to get the grand prizes of:

Basically it's an art competition where I have to draw a picture featuring mine and my opponent's character with my opponent doing the same. Those of you that have been keeping up with me may or may not know about all the trouble and obstacles I've been running into last year in concerns to getting my writing and comics finished x.x There were a few things that I would bring up in journals, but there was also a lot that I didn't bring up, because I didn't want to sound like I was whining and looking for people to feel sorry for me.

For a quick sum up of last year.
For me and my family it's been a tough year though, too many people I know dying, too many family members dying, too many cancer announcements for family members with life expectancy %'s that will very likely make 2013 a bad year for family members dying too, too many family members fighting, too many court battles, he said-she said's and over all drama happening. Basically too much unwanted crap and drama going on.

For myself this year was the year I was diagnosed with Lupus a few days before my birthday. The meds for that are not agreeing with me and are making me too tired giving me a loss of appetite. While another new med I started back up on this year makes me nauseous and want to throw up everywhere. I thought I was really starting to get the hang of my medication but it has proven me wrong.

In regards to my pets this year my one of my cats died, and not normally either, apparently according to the vet and the cop that lives next to us he was most likely poisoned by one of our neighbors to have deteriorated and died that fast (was sick for less that 24 hours) This year my dog started going blind in his left eye (his right eye was removed the year before) it's been a lot of work (more so for us that him) to train him to get used to responding to sounds instead of sights, but he still has panic attacks if he concerned with something going on in his blind side, this concept apparently a hard thing to explain to people that come and visit (honestly what part of "don't approach him or touch him on his blind side you'll scare him and he might bite) do they not understand?

This year the van that could carry my electric wheelchair broke. From October to mid December I couldn't leave the house on my own anymore. Then we got a new folding wheelchair donated to us from one of my mom's friends, but even though I can get out of the house I completely lost my independence, and I have to have someone pushing it all the time.

It hasn't all been bad though, there's been a lot of good things too, but 2012 was one of those years where the bad things outweighed the good.

Here's hoping that 2013 goes better for me art and writing wise, as well as life wise. So far the beginning of 2013 hasn't been that great, I got a pretty big flare up of symptoms during the holiday season that continued on into this year, but it's starting to go down so I'm hoping to be able to start drawing again by the end of this week. There's also a few neat projects starting up / in the works by other people for my Raven Wolf comic, like a french translation of the comic as well as a comic dub of it =) Look forward to more on that in the future.

I'll be going through my e-mails and messages that have piled up over the holidays today, also for those who read the novel series of Raven Wolf, Chapter 11 of Book 5 should be out soon, as for my comic readers I'll do my best to try and get the next page out before this week ends.

Well, my family couldn't afford to pay for the internet so it got cut for a while, we just got it back up on Monday. My sister is over for 2 weeks now though so you probably won't be seeing a whole from me over the holidays anyway.

Just thought I would inform everyone who's been trying to reach me through pm's and such. Sorry about that.

Was gonna post this shortly after posting the drawing of Chase I did but got called away from the computer to to grocery shopping, mom couldn't find her bank card and needed me to cover, (she'll pay me back when she finds it again)

Anyway computer is working, and lets hope that it stays that way ^^ got no shortage of stuff to work on so hopefully I can get a few comic pages and chapters out before my sister comes over for the holidays =)

Anyway I suppose that's all I have to say right now, just happy to have my computer back so I can work on my stuff again =)

To sum it up. My computer is not turning on (using my laptop to post this) so there will be no more art, comic pages or novel chapters until I can get that working. As I can`t do these things on the laptop -well technically I can do writing, but the chapter I was in the middle of working on is not on it... so... yea... therein is the problem-

So shorty after finish up work on and posting my comic page today I had a dentist appointment. So I turned my computer off and went to my appointment (which was very painful the the freezing to make my mouth numb wasn't working well... so it hurt like hell when they drilled into my teeth, they keep giving me more but it wasn't helping, so I pretty much had to just deal with it... as well as deal with a frozen face for the rest of the day, as they used so much freezing that they said it would take 5 hours or more before it started going away -I couldn't even feel my ear on that side of my head)

Anyway, I come home from a bad day of *that* and intend to go on my computer to work on writing, as that always makes me feel better. Was hoping to finish up the next novel chapter of Raven Wolf. Unfortunately every time I tried to start up my computer, it would turn itself off in the middle of booting up. At that point I figured "f it... I'm just gonna sleep this freezing off and have my brother look at my computer when he get home from work."

Unfortunately, he didn't come home from work he went out to his garage to work on cars, and when he does that he always comes home in time *just* to get enough sleep before work, and he usually does this for days to weeks in a row, so I have no idea when he will have the time to look at it. I will mention it to him and hope he remembers before heading out after work tomorrow, but he`s pretty forgetful x.x

So yeah, that`s my bad news for the day / possibly week. I know things could be worse but yeah... not being about to work on writing or drawing sucks a lot T_T
