Okay well I haven’t posted a journal in a while so this is gonna be a big one.

Feral! The 13th was amazing, I loved it. I’ve never gone to feral before and attending this outdoorsy con was incredible and brought back so many childhood memories of the traditional summer camp. To be able to walk out of my cabin and be ankle deep in water in less than 20 feet was refreshing. I used to go to a cottage ever summer with my ex but now that he’s out of the picture I didn’t have the chance to. Feral was perfect for me. Getting back to nature was good, I needed it. For those of you who have never been to Feral let me sum it up for you.
Basically furries take over a kids summer camp. So all the events you’d normally do at a camp, like kayaking, canoeing, swimming, rock wall climbing, ropes courses, even archery was available to all of us on a daily basis along with some furry related workshops like leather, drawing, poetry, and many others.
My evenings were filled with dancing at the lodge at tee-pee heights with some excellent DJ’s or simply sitting by a campfire and watching the flames lick and crackle at the wood. It truly was unlike any con I’ve ever attended before in such a pleasant manner. Not having to worry about what or when I eat next was so incredibly nice. Hearing a bell and knowing that food is out and ready for us to munch on was awesome. And the food was amazing too, a 4 star chef catered to us all week long, I truly was spoiled.
I will be attending this con annually, for many years to come and I encourage anyone who may be remotely interested to visit their website www.campferal.org and contact the committee.

In more recent news I have decided to end my relationship with  tiger_sammy. We were together for a long while and tried more than a few times to make things work and in the end it just was not meant to be. It is not fair to keep someone strung along when all of your heart just isn’t into it. I will not go into details on this, I have already gotten a lot of flak from many people on this subject and thus would like to prevent more drama. All I can say is I’m sorry. I hope you will find someone who can treat you the way you deserve and never hurt you again.

After having said that, I am currently spending time with  Bailey_Bat after a long fight and much bitterness exchanged between us I decided to step up and attempt a formal apology for my behavior. Since my decision to let Stripes go he has been there as a friend to listen and lend a paw if needed. Many of you may be thinking this is a rather quick exchange of mates but I assure you it is not. Bailey and I have been friends for over a year, and through the thick and thin of me leaving my first partner of 9 years he was there for me as a friend. Once again after making another tough decision I have found him more than willing to listen and help me though.
At this time we are both currently mate-less and thus have been spending more time with one another purely as friends. We are both hesitant to start a relationship so soon, so we are simply testing the waters to see where this may take us.

Okay so I am officially done all my fursuit commissions, and I am itching to get building once more, but this time just a partial that I’ll be selling for cash to afford Feral! SO What I am asking of all you furries is what do I make next? I have these colours fur in stock:

White, Black, Tan, Gray, Pink, Blue, Rust Red, and a lot of dusty brown (cougar colour)

So what should I make? If anyone has any ideas feel free to post them here. If anyone wants to doodles something up feel free to do that too. Keep in mind this will be a head, paws and tail. Let the discussion begin.

So lots of shit has hit the fan in the past few days... I was denied information about something very important that got me rather upset. Now that I’ve had time to sit and think about it everything has seemed to calm down a bit for me in that way. I still feel used and lied to but nothing can change that now so only thing to do is be the mature one about it and move on.

Anyway as one of my submissions mentions, I was recently certified as a pet trainer for PetSmart. I’ve now had a few weeks to get into the swing of things and I. Love. It. I adore being a trainer, I am seeing improvements in my clients dogs already, I love being the one with all the answers, I love helping people and I especially love playing with puppies ^.^ I mean really who wouldn’t? I am eagerly awaiting next Sunday as that’s when my classes run, even my clients like me. I’m funny and down to earth and get the job done.

I had a manager talk to the lead pet trainer in our store about me, telling her how awesome I was, how much of an asset I am to the company on a whole as I am not only a trainer, but trained as a cashier, work in the petcare department (small animals, birds, reptiles, fish) and have done core as well (dog/cat). So I know everything just shy of driving the fork lift and doing managers duties, and even then I’ve had the managers come to me and ask me questions.

So in short, life has sucked balls in the not so distant past, but now that said person is gone life is looking wonderfully up ^.^

Have any of you ever lost something that's meant a lot to you? I dont know what to do. I give and give and give... and it gets me nowhere... Do I need to be less nice? Why do people feel the need to walk all over me? Why do I let them? Why do I open my heart? I should never... I should sit alone.. least my heart woulndnt break... its going to be a long time before my heart fixes itself from this one... maybe I have to be alone.... I thought that I could fix any problem, bend and fold to the other persons whim, but thats not good enough... I'm not good enough.... the only thing keeping me going is my job... if I go when I'm schedueld I at least make money... and money makes people happy right? maybe I'll be happy in a while.... maybe....

Long journal is long, so bear with me.

I really don’t know where to start. I have so much bottled up inside me I just need somewhere to release it. That’s healthy right? I have no idea what it is I want in life now. I mean career wise I have it figured out, I think, but relationship wise I’m lost. I’ve seen what could be out there now and so far none of those options have seemed completely right for me. I want someone who is utterly devoted to me, I want a best friend. I want someone who no matter what I’d never have to worry about their eyes straying. I also want someone who I can care for, and someone who appreciates me for who I am and what I do. I want someone I can attend conventions with, ideally a fursuiter too. What I want is not out there I don’t think... I want the perfect man, but he doesn’t exist... but I believe the right one does. I want someone I can trust... I hate liars. I hate deceitful people... Trust is not given, it is something that is earned, something that is worked for.

I feel completely alone for the first time in my life. Its scary. I don’t like it. I want that comfort back but at the same time I’m leery of it. I have a tendency of running into things head first, and that only makes them worse. I’m sad... depressed... I only ever put on a happy face for work but as soon as I hit my car I’m back to being upset. I don’t know where to turn. I feel I’ve lost everything and yet all my physical assets are still here. How can one lose something if it was not tangible in the first place? I feel empty and hallow, like a shell of a human with nothing more inside. Everything I had, all my emotions, all my energy, gone. Just enough remains to keep me walking... but where? Where do I walk now?

I don’t want people close to me... I push them away both physically and emotionally. Its like I want to be alone and sad... but I just don’t have anything left to give, so it seems easier to remove myself and others... I feel ill, even having not eaten anything in hours, I still feel physically ill. My face, pale. My body, tired. I want to sleep... I want to sleep for a long time and never wake up, never feel again... nothing is better than pain... I just don’t want to hurt any longer.

I apologize to anyone still reading this.. I just need to get it out..

So who am I kidding? I am a furry and always will be, so yeah. Sorry for the drama.. I needed some time away, time to myself. And it has helped. So I'll now get back to uploading photos and sketches of my work. Thanks for the moral support everyone, plan on seeing me at local events and conventions ^.^

Its finally here, the first day of spring. It doesn’t much feel like it compared to these past few days but still. I’ve had a long hard winter, not because of the cold, but because of my relationship falling through, and everything else. It was very hard on me. This past Christmas was by far the worst yet. I never want to feel like that ever again. I never want to hurt someone like I did ever again. I am not going to go into detail about what exactly happened because its in the past, and I want it behind me for good. I want to move forward.

I have found a wonderful new man to share my life with. Its silly I know but spring to me means a new life, a new beginning and this year it’s really hitting home. With no more snow on the ground I feel somewhat freed. I no longer have to hide behind thick sweaters but I instead I can wear a nice top and embrace the warmth of the air and sun.. and my mate.

I am eager to see where my life will take me from here, what paths I will wander down, where I will end up. With my ex I felt restricted as to what I could do in life as well as in the furry fandom. Now I feel as if I’m a horse who’s been unhitched and free to run and explore. I want to experience everything new and exciting to me, I want to see everything I’ve missed thus far in my life.

Okay so FE!! I’d like to start out by saying this was my first even furry con and I cannot believe I’ve gone on this far in the fandom and never attended one. I have found myself, that’s for sure. For those of you who don’t know I’ve recently gone through a tough break up... I was with him for 9 years, but he wasn’t a furry. He didn’t really like the idea of me going and spending the night at a furry convention. Well there is no way I could do that now. Not after having been there and seen it. I am proud to be a furry, I love who I am and never want to give that up. And I have found a new partner, my Sammy. It was such a pleasure to share my first fur con with him, he showed me a lot, I want to thank him for that.

I have never seen so many happy go lucky people in one space before in my life. It didn’t matter where I turned or who I was talking to I fit in. It just felt right to be there. I had an amazing weekend sharing a room with Dodge and his mate Ashley. She was great for putting up with our kookie furry ways. I did the rave dance for a little bit, I hit up the condition room party with Sam, I took part in the fursuit parade and the massive fur pile that followed. I really came out of my shell as a human, I did things I wouldn’t normally have done because of my previous partner... I am so lucky to have found Sam and for him to show me everything I’ve been missing.

I am so excited for the next big convention; FCN. I will be there with Sam once again. I hope to meet up with many of my new friends once again. Thanks to everyone for coming out and making my first con such a good one. I love you all.

After 9 years of being with my old boyfriend I have found a new mate:  tiger_sammy 9 years of being unhappy and I've finally found someone who loves me for who I am, even my furry side. I am so happy and I look forward to spending many years with him. So yay me.

Next I will be attending FCN, my first ever big convention. I once again will be going with Sammy so I am really looking forward to that. I am also booked in for AC I have a room and all. Looking forward to both cons so yay ^.^
