Game Webcasting (Also:My tears).
General | Posted 14 years agoAs my previous journal stated, not really as clearly as I’d’ve liked, my husband runs a webcast at http://www.twitch.tv/balade/ and we’re running our annual Fundraiser, with a Charity initiative this time! ( http://www.javgw.com/Playitwar/ ). We’re trying to broadcast every evening for most of the month, to promote this. Why not pop in and see us?: )
In related news!
Our first Milestone has been reached, at $200 which means there will be a Bonus ONE-OFF RP module.
At the next Milestone of $500, there'll be another One-Off, and I’m looking into some other systems if we make it that high, because I hear 'Fluffy Bunnies' is a...unique system. (I suspect the goal is to eat grass and procreate...)
Granted, at $1000, I’ll be ...volunteerily(? D8) playing Amnesia...which will likely result in squealing, screaming, pleading and tears. And... I’ve been told my tears are delicious... So wanna find out for yourselves?
In any case, as the second link explains (once you scroll down past the TwitchTV window & chat), we’re also selling Raffle Tickets (win awesome geeky soap, nerdy keychains, and even some adorable ones).
If you have any questions about any of the raffle prizes (which will be expanded upon in the future, so check back at the PlayitWar page) or how to donate, feel free to ask here, or PM me or
Balade.

Balade.Fundraiser/Charity Time (Animals & Children)
General | Posted 14 years agoWell my husband's Annual Fundraiser season has started.
For those of you who don't know, he runs a Let's-Play webcast every Sunday, where failure/hilarity ensues.
A bunch of us (him,me, our friends) mock, swear at, or derail discussions about the games being played; I personally babble about chores, baking and any art I'm working on but sometimes I notice questions and comments in the chat and respond to those.
Once a year we run a fundraiser called The Play It War, where viewers can vote for the game they want to see played for this event, and once 2 Finalists are selected, they can donate money to vote for their favourite of the Finalists (usually the one that'll cause us the most discomfort) played for X amount of time based on the amount of money ends up being donated.
Normally the money from this has gone towards offsetting the maintenance costs of running the webcast equipment (hardware based Technical Difficulty is no fun for anyone) and pay expenses such as the hosting for our website and helping us pick up titles throughout the year (in lieu of donated games, which are also appreciated).
However this year we'll be donating half of our earnings to Child's Play Charity and the ASPCA organizations!
We're glad we have such wonderful fans who turn up every week and have helped us so much the last few years, so we've decided to try and give back to the community a little by donating money to charity. Currently we're picking our two titles to compete in the fundraising so we need everyone to vote!
(This is the FREE part of the voting process, so please vote for which games will ! I have my fingers crossed for Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank to reach the Final Voting Phase, personally)
http://www.javgw.com/Playitwar/ <---For further information/explanation and to vote on which 2 games will enter the 'War' Segment of this event.
ADDITIONALLY! If you think all this voting is nonsense or confusing or tedious and would rather just get the Charity part over and done with:
We plan to have extra stuff!
We will be auctioning off some ADORABLE keychains graciously donated to us by
spooks (check out the awesome Not-So-Belligerent Little Buffalo she made for me!) as well as a raffling tickets for fabulous prizes!
Like soap!
Not just ANY soap; NERD soap.
Such as soap the shape of an NES controller, or a companion cube, OR EVEN AN ELEMENT OF HARMONY!!(I want Kindness myself, but who doesn't want to lather up with Laughter or Honesty -which smells like apples, whoda thunk- or Generosity?) fresh from Luxury Lane Soaps!
We'll likely post journals about those as well as mentioning it on the webcast; those who tune in and listen will likely be at an advantage tho.: 3
The main event will be starting next week or so, so get your votes in as soon as possible so that your favorite game will get to compete! Or just... come check us out at http://www.twitch.tv/balade . We'll be doing stuff most evenings leading up to the Play-It war, along with our current regularly scheduled Friday Minecraft Multiplayer, Saturday DnD & the Sunday Video-Game Webcast.
tl;dr

Expect this to be plastered in the description of most of the pics I'll be uploading for a while, because I want my husband's ventures to be noticed/successful. : X

Nothing new to report:
General | Posted 14 years agoJust bringing my commission list to the fore again.
Considering hiding commission offers or free sketches somewhere in journals or picture descriptions or even my front page to honour the memory of omgtkb since this was something he used to do;but probably not for another month or so tho. Back into the swing of art after about a week of almost nothing. All things considered I got more done than I thought I would with family visiting.

If you didn't see Fossil's journal earlier,
OMGTKB has passed away.
For those who didn’t know him, he was angry, vulgar and blunt, ripping into others who he perceived as being morons or annoyances with venomous, eloquent insults.
But, he was ALSO talented, funny and honest, with a level of sensitivity most people wouldn't think he was capable of, and deeply cared for those he considered friends.
In early July he was suddenly hospitalised and went through several surgeries. Someone cut his ponytail off for absolutely no reason. He was in a coma for roughly a week.
Earlier this month he came home. Weak, but alive, and appreciative of the fact. He was getting physiotherapy. He was determined to get his strength back so he could get back to drawing, and to improve his health.
On Sunday evening he went to take a nap and didn’t come back.
He was more loved than he ever believed or realised; he had a way of being identifiable and memorable. I don't think he really got the attention and credit he really deserved.
I was looking forward to his future plans and goals; I was ready to participate and support, and laugh and encourage and hang with and tease and work with and argue and debate and listen and trade art and just generally enjoy being in his presence again, as I usually did. If anything I could depend on Ben to be as antisocial, alcohol-free, non-party, work-on-sketchbooks-in-a-hotel-room as me, and still have a great time.
I’ll miss him; and I’m not the only one.
G'bye Ben, you weren't always good people, but you were my friend and I dug ya. Try not to goose too many angels...or devils. Have some virgins on me if anything, tho I'm sure you'd've preferred sluts; sorry I don't have any available in my belief system's version of Paradise.
I know you wouldn't have wanted me or any of your other friends to be sad or to do/draw anything special for you, which works out for me at least, because I've already been drawing tits all month, heh.

General | Posted 14 years agoEDIT: (July 26th)NEVERMIND, MY COMPUTER BROKE AGAIN. DX
EDIT: (August 12th) Ok I think it's fixed now. I THINK.
Thinking it's the video-card...going to replace that asap. Hopefully THAT will fix the problem. X<
First off, sorry about the lack of art progress; June was unquestionably con-season and upon returning as I mentioned in my previous journal, my computer decided to break.
Seem to have nailed down and resolved the problem but I thought that last week too but my computer promptly fizzled the day after...so... small chance my next journal will be titled "Whoops, false alarm!" followed by a paragraph of swearing.
But so far it seems it was a failing hard-drive and a faulty USB expansion card. Harddrive has been replaced, the card has not yet, but i've managed to plug in the essentials (keyboard, mouse, tablet, scanner). At a push I should be able to plug the printer into the front usb if I need it, if a little inconvenient.
But anyway, was a bit harder to really check/send/respond to messages and look up references. My husband's desk is too tall for me so i can't comfortable draw on it (my shoulders and elbows cramp up after an hour or so and then stay sore for days), and I can't really see his screens from my desk... anyway I didn't get nearly as much down in the computerless time as I'd've liked. BUT, now trying to get back on to work. Sticking my current commission load on the front here to keep track of it easier, I'll be contacting some people soon to check some stuff and working on finishing other things. In the meantime I'll likely be posting stuff I managed to finish and scan so far, and Anthrocon sketches as long as my computer continues to function.
I'm feeling a little pessimistic, I admit, but it's been over a day without incident so far.Sooo... here;s to getting back on track!

General | Posted 14 years agoAs some of you may have noticed it's been over a week since i've posted anything;this is because my computer has BROKE THE HECK DOWN, and broke pretty hard. This has made completing and posting art rather problematic.
My husband has been fiddling with it every day and after much poking, prodding, plugging, unplugging he's decided on some advise from a friend it is likely the main hard-drive is going loopy and will need to be replaced; but just in case we'll let his dad look at it first. (not looking for further advise, but I can list the symptoms if anyone is truly truly curious)
In theory I could hook up my scanner to his computer but I'll be buggered if I know how to clean up my pictures in his version of photoshop which is personalised to suit HIM (I've tried before, it resulted in much throwing of books and crying)...and if this goes on much longer I am likely going to go with this option.
In the mean-time, sorry about lack of art. It's been difficult without MY computer (using my husband's is uncomfortable to use for too long because the desk is too tall and the chair can't be raised any further) and accessing my notes hasn't been the easiest.I'm getting used to a new setup and starting to get somewhere but...well we'll see what happens. Art IS getting done it'll just be a while yet before results will be seen.
I hadn't posted a journal sooner because I had my fingers crossed the problem might've righted itself by now.
Anyway, sorry for the continued wait, am trying to make sure I have something to show for this absence once things are working again (except for private commissions, which of course, are private).
Art posting to return asap.Hope this won't get expensive. XT

Ahem, sorry about that.
Well then, let's see if I can make coherent sentences.
Getting to the con was a bit of a trial; a lot of my packing did not go smoothly (and my roughly 1 year old chair broke, ugh, i thought i paid a decent price for some quality too) and like many other people my flights and connections got delayed all over the place due to weather. I could actually complain a lot more about various little things that went bad but I think after experiencing air travel for over 2 decades now, it really is just a matter of "These things happen." even if we all wish things could go smoother. My sign-holder did get a few new cracks in it that I wasn't pleased about...guess I'll have to try and pack it better next time.
So I did arrive the same time as everyone else thanks to delays, which was amusing to say the least, if a little more hectic (and that set the tone/pace of most of the con). I called dibs on the writing desk before I realised
kelmar didn't have his lapdesk this year.Sorry dude.: U
sethtriggs did so much driving I'm surprised his feet didn't turn into pedals.
After a nonsensical Musical Beds session, sleep was had.
The rest of the con is a bit of a blur. I believe Thursday involved delicious sushi and some comic books; but none that I was looking for in particular (ah well, maybe next year!).
Then on Friday, oh my goodness, what a cluster!I've never seen a table so busy on a FRIDAY. I'm glad I managed to say hello to
shoulung early because, dang! It was my first time sitting with Illuminated Artists (
Damaris ) so I got a bit confused over the process and accidentally took on more commissions than I should've because I lost count very quickly. x.x;
I spent as much time working on the sketchbooks as I could before passing out; I don't know if it was my sore wrist or stamina worsening but I don't feel i got all that much done as I should've and I felt completely con-cruddy on Saturday so I stayed until the people who reserved got hold of me and bailed for a bit (which turned into a nightmarish nap that wasn't the least bit refreshing so I ended up not returning to the Dealer's Den...sorry! D:).
I pretty much stayed in all evening working on stuff. Thankfully I'm not all that social; so an evening in isn't the hugest deal. Still ended up staying up until sunrise to try and get things done.
Sunday ended up being a bit bumpy; since I'd already been handed the sketchbook of my Sunday reserve on Friday... I had decided to just stay in until I finished everything; but then there was some panic and chaos because apparently some folks were angry I had their sketchbooks still and my managers thought I was slacking off in the Zoo due to some miscommunication so i ended up scrambling around to get ready to get to the den only to find out I had not in fact gotten the sketchbooks in question and they wanted to GIVE me their sketchbooks. Ah well, it was irresponsible of me to not be at the table when I stated I would be, so took on a few more commissions and got back to work. In the end I did more or less accept the number of commissions I said I would...but I think next year I'll aim to take on a little less...not sure if I'll do away with reservations yet, but I have a year to decide, right?
Managed to sell one pic in the artshow and I hear it's heading to Australia with an encumbered traveller; thanks whoever you are!
I actually was gunna bid on something myself but I missed my chance; I will read the rules better for next time.
mowser and
spooks appeared out of the tall grass to check on us regularly,
bradypodidae spoiled the heck out of me and
missmab,
Nyil was very asian (asian-five!) and got saddled with SO MANY PONIES,
raiettei's speakers which I destroyed with the power of my awesome voice rattled pleasantly and will get mounted as soon as I find the perfect plaque for it, there was a brief hello and hug with
drakefenwick,
slutpuppy EVENTUALLY got me a damned Snickers™ bar, and I accidentally stole
ews's sketchbook. D8 (cleared that up though)
So thanks and/or sorry to everyone mentioned, including anyone I may have not named/linked due to me still feeling a bit under the weather or some of u not having FA icons, you guys know who you are (especially you, you spider-loving curly hug monster : |).
Upon returning home it would seem my cat forgot who the hell I am and was hissing, puffing and yowling at me most of the evening, but she finally seems to have remembered me now. Also, ants, why the hell are there so many ants? There weren't this many ants when I left! D8
Why are most of them on my work space?!
Welp, back to the grind, laundry needs to be done, dishes need to be dealt with and husband need to be cooked for. I'll get back to art once I'd managed to clear up some put-off/built up chores and gotten a bit more rest to try and keep this concrud from developing into anything annoying and art-preventative. Got commissions to do and projects to start and a new website that needs more content.
tl;dr
Was a nice con.I hung out with a lot more people than usual, made not as much $$$ as I'd've liked, did not complete nearly enough art or get nearly enough sleep. Thank you to anyone who came by to say hello, stopped to check out my art, helped out/brought me food/kept me hydrated, commissioned me, bought my CD, shoved food in me, kept me company, weathered my wobbler, dragged me out to Meatopia, drew in my sketchbook and was patient with my derfiness.
Now back to day to day chores, then back to art I owe, etc.
Also: ANTS OH GOD WHY?! DX

Guarantee a Commission at Anthrocon
General | Posted 14 years agoTL;DR: There are 2 ways to commission me at Anthrocon:
1. Buy a reserve here so that you'll be guaranteed a slot at the con. DETAILS BELOW.
OR
2. Show up at my table (A5/A6). I'll be taking commissions until all the remaining slots are filled!
FIRST UP: You will be able to find me at table(s) A5/A6 under Illuminated Artists (organised by
Damaris & Darkmoon), which I will be sharing with
kelmar and
Missmab.
SECOND UP: This year I am limiting how many commissions I will be accepting at Anthrocon (~6 a day, ~18 total*); because my wrist still isn't 100% and because I actually want some time to sleep and hang out with my friends I only get to see once a year. 8C
So if there's anyone out there who definitely, totally doesn't want to chance missing out getting a sketchbook or loose-paper commission from me at the con (I will be accepting some take-home commissions but again, it'll be limited/conditional because I SUCK at sending back sketchbooks in a timely manner), based on an idea from a friend, I am setting up a reservation system.
How will this work? Simple: You buy a slot now-ish ($15), and when you get to the convention and find me on the specified day, you won't get turned away because I'm full up. Not selling all the slots because there'll likely be people who won't see this journal for various reasons.
Rules/Notes;
1: This is just to reserve/guarantee a SLOT, commission price is a separate, additional fee which is paid at the convention after we discuss/negotiate what you want.
2: Make sure you note me what your Badge-name will be, so I can give you a paypal address to send payment to and a password to use to identify you for extra security.: D
3: If you do not show up on the day you have a slot reserved, you have effectively given up your slot and will be refunded at the soonest available convenience.
4: The earlier you show up the better. Not so much a rule as just giving me extra time to get to work on your commission.
5: A guarantee'd slot does not mean I will automatically OK whatever it is you'd like me to draw; but I will do my best to accommodate your idea; A 5 character orgy in a luxury car garage next to a dragon statue might be a little hard to pull off in a day, but a massive-boobed sunbathing bunny herm wouldn't be as problematic.
6: To reiterate: You DO NOT have to buy a slot to get a commission from me at the convention; it's essentially insurance.
7: You are confirmed for a slot once payment is received.: )
Friday:
3/3
Saturday:
2/3
Sunday:
0/3
*Depending on what kind of commissions I end up with I may take more or less a day.
So yeah, if you're interested in reserving a slot, just lemme know and we'll go from there!
Either way this goes, hope to see some of your guys at the convention and lets all have a good time. : )
ps: Haven't forgotten me backlog list; still working slowly through that. This journal is just for CONVENTION art.
pps: Avoiding responding to comments in this journal so it doens't get cluttered!

May Art Slow Down...
General | Posted 14 years ago...for serious this time.
I got called out on the fact I posted my "I'm slowing down due to wrist ouchies" journal, waited, about 5 days being all anxious/fidgety at lack of progress and once my wrist showed the barest sign of improvement, started grinding at art again like it would stop the world from exploding (you're welcome).
Admittedly, my wrist is doing a bit better than it was (no more waking up and finding it's too excruciating to even make a loose fist!), but the fact that it does still ache pretty badly (my thumb-joint and wrist start screaming at me when i make certain motions/positions or move my hand too fast) is a little worrisome and Anthrocon is coming up and... well, I want to be able to do some stuff for/at the con and so on. So yes, I will be slowing down to a more relaxed pace. I'll keep picking at art I've been working on, I'll keep picking at the commission list, but no more of my grind-a-thons aiming to get X amount of art done a week.
And since y'all have been so patient in reading this journal (and if you responded to my last one, THANKS for all the kind words!); I think I'll do that whole "Ask Me Anything." thing... because that's what I need to do for my carpal tunnel: type more. *genius* XD
Caution: My Answers may be full of bullshit.: U
Edit: ok i got a lot more response back from that than I thoguht I would. Thanks for playing, hope you enjoy the Home Edition. XD
Back to resting my wrist now.

(Do I owe u art?):Advised slow down
General | Posted 14 years agoOn the request of my husband and friends:
So the week before I got a whole buncha art done, I was on a roll, then bam, this week, next to nothing.
Why?
First, I've been having some pretty bad carpal tunnel, but I was working through it and was feeling kindda positive.
Then, while working on getting some housework done, I sprained my wrist. It was pretty freaking excruciating and I couldn't hold a pencil properly, so I resigned myself to resting and not getting any art done that Monday.
Then on the way home from a laundry run, I fell over and naturally stuck my right arm out to brace myself; solid landing. At least I didn't mess up my knees! Shoulder is a little jarred.
SO, got some nice swelling going, constant aching, couldn't even close my hand... so... yeah. The Sally/Lupe pic was thankfully mostly done but even the last bits of leather took way longer than i'd've liked and I'm not happy witht he results. The next commission seemed to go well but at the end of it i noticed some swelling had returned.
Trying to get sketches done at the least, but yeah, there's a constant ache and stiffness. I'm trying to keep some kind of steady pace cos I feel really bad about taking forever (it's been a hell of a year so far).
Sorry I've taken forever, gunna keep trying to work but, yeah, that's why I've slowed down again.
So, thanks guys for your patience, and, again, sorry art is taking forever. Now I'm gunna go to bed, cos my wrist and shoulder are aching pretty annoyingly again.

Two great loves:
General | Posted 15 years agohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsCHIKTRYRk MLP;FiM and Dead Alewives (DnD).
This is wonderfully put together; I've always loved the skit, and I think the effort put into the lip-synching is awesome. It's pure silliness... and I never realised how often Twilight Sparkle looked annoyed until I saw this. No surprise, Rarity wasn't involved. Just thought I'd share, either the link or my opinion.
And now the longest signature I've ever had!(ie; need to keep an eye on this list to keep track of what I'm doing)

FANGIRLGASM
General | Posted 15 years ago(Warning, lengthy and borderline pointless, read at your own risk)
‘Playstation Move Heroes’( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlaySt.....on_Move_Heroes ). Prepare for thoughts, waffling and oppinions.
Just. YES. FUCK. YES.
Just saw the trailer last night with the characters talking and some of the Gameplay and my fangirl-o-meter was OFF the AWESOME chart!
I almost feel bad that something so materialistic is boosting my mood so much, but... yeah, I’m just really enthused about this game. I LOVE all 3 of these series, and the only way it could be any better is if Lara Croft was included...but she didn’t really have a sidekick so fair enough.
Crash Bandicoot though... that could’ve worked; Coco’s supposed to be a brainiac too afterall.
...and my 34/fan fiction senses start tingling some FIERCE... but I can forgive them for not going this route, that’d be too many characters and storylines to juggle (...but it’s SO POSSIBLE! SO, SO POSSIBLE!!! Argh I have to stop thinking about it! Fffffff...!) I mean really, Coco would be a nice addition to this sausage festival (I love all these guys, I really do, and heck I don’t mind if they all loved each other, but my favourite part of Ratchet & Clank 1 is flipping around for 10 minutes to make Ms. Easter Egg’s boobs inflate...they really should’ve put that in all the games).
But enough of my fantasy setting and back to the actual game.
Let’s explain some of the reasons why I’m so damned excited about this:
* As mentioned, I’m a fan of all three series. I look forward to every new release; I love the characters; I love the look of them and the worlds they live in, I love the stories these characters have all been involved in, I love their personalities, I love watching their lives unfold... not always the biggest fan of the game-play and camera controls involved, but hey, I’m not going to let a GAME get in the way of fun characters and stories. And I don’t deny occassionallly level designs kindda sucked (nice to look at, but navigating/not dying in..?) So a new release involving all these guys, in one game? Yeah... this is my 2011 ‘Cartoon All-Stars’.
* They got all the current voice actors back. All of them. I love them for it. I thank them for putting forward the effort of making this so, and to the voice-actors for accepting this job offer.
* This potentially urges Sucker Punch even CLOSER to Sly 4 (yes, I’m aware of the teaser you can unlock in the Sly Cooper bundle, but sometimes teasers lead to nothing for various reasons).
I’m aware that the story may flop, sales may not be as high as they hoped, and that it may even be as glitchy as it is gimmicky. I’m aware I may find the game play a pain (not to mention having to buy a ‘Move’ exclusively for this game, when we’d been saving up for Kinect) but that’s not entirely unusual.
I know my friends mock me over how excited I get over these games and how invested I am in the lives of these fictional characters but... Ratchet’s quest in finding other Lombaxes (Angela Cross not withstanding... depending on your information source... I’m waiting for in-game confirmation myself), Jak’s imprisonment/torture and subsequent growing from a carefree youngman to a somewhat bitter freedom fighter, the Cooper Clan’s continuation... hell even Murray’s character development, Clank’s tv show/movies and Daxter’s pest-control business... I could talk for quite a while about any of these. I TRY not to because frankly, I don’t like boring my friends. I don’t doubt most of them will NOT read this journal. And if you’re still reading this far.. I am SO sorry, you honestly can stop, really, please, don’t waste your time just cos I’m happy-venting. Though I think I’m almost done.
From what I’ve seen in the trailer, the models look pretty shiny and the levels look good even if they just echo existing levels... but frankly the thought of any of them running around each other’s levels does fill me with unusual delight.
I do have some hopeless hopes; such as them cameoing or at least referencing their other friends and acquantances (Murray, Carmelita, Penelope, Qwark, Courtney Gears, Tess, Keira...etc), or at least referencing events in their various games. That’s always fun.
I wish I’d realised this was coming out sooner (I been a bit behind on video game news)... I’m fairly caught up on the Sly games and reasonably caught up on the Ratchet & Clank games but I admit I haven’t played much further than Daxter and a TINY bit of Jak X.. I certainly OWN all the danged games... but I don’t really wanna delay playing PSH as soon as I get it. But I think I have a new Sunday Night Goal now...will have to see how my time works out.
Anyway, I should really get back to inking and such. But yeah... I’m... probably gunna hold on to this good mood for the rest of the week at least. 83
Fingers crossed.
Ok, enough of that, time to head over to the in-laws' place to do some laundry. Then back to more art!

Ok, enough of that, time to head over to the in-laws' place to do some laundry. Then back to more art!
Getting back to relatively normal.

Moving IRL
General | Posted 15 years agoJust a heads up to everyone;
balade and I will be moving soon (our first official apartment together!) and we're in the midst of packing. I'm really looking forward to it and I feel like expending some time listing why once the more important part of this journal is out of the way.
People I owe art to, I'm trying to continue to work on art during the packing period. On Jan 14th we start moving stuff to the new place. Not sure how long unpacking and rearranging and re-setting up will take, but I'll be endeavouring to arrange it so I can get back to work ASAP. Sorry about the delays.
That said; what's a good electricity company to sign up with in Texas? Anyone? We still need to arrange that. ¬.¬;
Okay; now on to that list I mentioned.
Things I am looking forward to once we've moved:
* Not having the litter box right next to our bed.
* Not having to confine our cat to our bedroom.
* Not having to store 90% of our groceries in our bedroom.
* MORE SPACE (not being confined to our bedroom).
* Being allowed to use the kitchen whenever we want.
* Not having to store the bulk of our trash in our bedroom.
* Not having to worry about (being shushed) waking up a sleeping 2 year old are random points during the day.
* Not having to worry about food disappearing from the fridge/freezer.
* Being able to store leftovers/having room in the fridge/freezer.
* Being able to shower at any point of the day.
* Not being in a bedroom that wants to grow up to be a greenhouse (and is succeeding beyond it's years).
* I can get another bookshelf and have somewhere to put it! 83
* Be able to better organise my workspace and art stuff. (I may even take up painting again!)
* I'll finally have a closet! A closet I can hang clothing in! And shoes!
* A bedroom separate from the living/working area.
* A dishwasher. 8D
* Our tupperware won't keep getting borrowed for extended periods of time by a sister in law who doesn't even LIVE in this house anymore. DX
* For that matter just about anything that isn't squirreled away in this bedroom will no longer get taken, used up and not replaced by the in-laws. (egads, I'll be able to have milk & fruit again!)
* We'll be allowed to use our Wii Fit.
* I may be able to get hermit crabs again! 83
* I'll be able to go for walks if I wanna. (this neighbourhood is rife with unchecked dogs which may as well be stray)
* I'll finally be able to put some of our wedding presents to use.
* No more having the litter box right. Next. To. The. Bed.<--No more stinky dreams!
S'all I can think to list for now.

Emergency Commissions 2(Closed):
General | Posted 15 years agoSlots are open until I reach my Goal Amount.
RULES:
1) No refunds (unless I decide I can not complete your commission).
2) Speedy payment (via Paypal) is key; if it'll take longer than a week for your money to clear please do not ask for any slots.
3) You can ask for up to 3 slots.
4) I won't draw: Complex details or backgrounds(negotiable/$), DEFINITELY not Cubpr0n, Scat, or Gore.

8) I reserve the right to decline a commission based on difficulty, or personal feelings.
9)You will not be added to the list until payment is received.

Pencil line-work:
$15 per character, two character MAXIMUM. (I will go up to 3 characters since a few ppl seem keen on it but there may be some smudging, just forewarning.)

May be opening for commissions soon/Interested?:
General | Posted 15 years agoSome stuff has just come up IRL that may make it necessary for me to open up for commissions and quite possibly a lot of them (I will continue to try to finish the older pics I owe first though DX). Will post another journal some time today announcing the fact but if something else happens I'll be simply deleting this one.
